THE ROLE : The Sr. Field Service Technician will be responsible for the safe, accurate and professional operation of the crew, provide direction to the Operators, in charge of field operation and is responsible for all of the equipment. The Sr. Field Service Technician executes valve and hydrant operations and maintenance in the field as well as data collection activities. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Understand and follow all operating procedures.
Understand water system dynamics.
Be able to escalate in a timely manner when needed.
Ensure all data is collected completely and accurately.
Understand the details of the valve and hydrant data being collected.
Daily download of data on GPS device
Participate in quality assurance activities.
Responsible for all activities and operations of the Crew
Responsible for tracking daily production and timekeeping of the crew.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. This includes performing duties in maintaining compliance with any/all federal, state and local laws, regulations and requirements.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, Works well in group problem-solving situations.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
Traffic and personnel safety.
Ensure the crew follow all procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Minimum of 4 years' experience
Experience in valve turning preferred.
Water distribution knowledge
Must have a valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card
Ability to understand, read, and write English.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Availability to work overtime, any shift, weekends and holidays if needed.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:

SALARY :
Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Representative will sell products, services and solutions to customers and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. They will maintain relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within assigned territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service segment. In addition to face-to-face meetings, engage with customers in a variety of mediums to close sales and support clients, respond to client inquiries and offer bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions. This person will also be responsible for advancing opportunities through the sales stages in CRM, along with being accountable for CRM data used for forecasting and SIOP.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business

Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting

The individual in this role will lead and support to define/execute strategies for the Transport products with the primary focus on organic profitable business growth, new product/platform development, value optimized design, product marketing & applications, services growth, pricing strategy, 80/20 project initiative and continuous margin expansion. The leader will also be directly involved and influence product channel strategy and geographic expansion.
Key business/portfolio metrics: Orders, sales, standard margin, and new product sales, new product funnel. The incumbent also has the responsibility to lead, coach and build the capabilities of his/her team of global product managers and regional segment managers.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Lead/Coach staff of product managers across the U.S, Europe and emerging markets. directs personnel activities of the product management such as to support regional sales teams, provides constant customer touch points, define pricing strategy for each market, obtain market and competitive intelligence.
Lead the transformation of our Transport product management from legacy, brand-specific, geographically centric teams into a highly functional, integrated teams providing best-in-class execution for products across Xylem's full Transport portfolio.
Lead team to Collaborate with finance, sales and operations to ensure highly accurate revenue and margin forecast numbers. (SIOP)
Establish/maintain liaison with finance / build solid processes and procedures related to financials of products
Drive a highly responsive culture to provide outstanding customer focus (both for internal and external customers)
Be the Leader and Coach to successfully Implement 80/20 initiative in Transport portfolio
Drive continuous improvement to identify top areas in need of improvement and standardization of processes in the product management function.
Build strong liaison with Research and Development function of Transport to build new product funnel, breakthrough ideas, be a customer champion to roll out new products on time and establish strong collaboration with global sales teams to commercialize new products.
Responsible for the New Product vitality index and digital business product strategy/growth
Responsible for regulatory and statutory compliance of Transport products
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in the water industry or Energy or any heavy industry; five (>7) years in a supervisory or management position
Master's Degree and/or MBA preferred. Exposure to public utility business is an added advantage.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Power Point and ERP systems
Time tested candidate with global experience or worked in large global organization with proven track record of performance
Ability to travel 25-40%

THE ROLE :
The Trade Compliance Official (TCO) is responsible for trade program management and providing direct support and guidance for locations with significant trade activities in North America and as identified by the Regional Trade Directors and the Senior Director of Trade Compliance. This person supports the Regional Director Trade Compliance in deploying regional initiatives, continuous improvement activities, management of audits and development of regional training materials.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Subject matter expert in global trade compliance
Support business location and regional management with consultancy related to customs, export control, sanctions, and anti-boycott compliance, as well as to areas where Customs or Export Control Authorities are the competent or enforcement agency (-Gatekeeper-)
Work with business locations to interpret business issues and develop solutions
Work with business locations to develop and share best practices
Develop and implement Trade Compliance best practices together with other TCOs
Provide business location input to the Xylem Trade Compliance function
Provide Trade Compliance input to business locations and business functions
Solve complex problems using broad perspective and input
Develop and implement regional continuous improvement projects related to Trade
Develop and implement trade compliance procedures into existing business trade processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Xylem trade policies.
Perform due diligence for high-risk transactions and sanctioned countries (STQ process)
Perform initial and recurring training for employees outlining the complexities and responsibilities under all applicable [country] export regulations and U.S. re-export regulations as they may apply. Develop business location trade contacts.
Ensure business location records are maintained according to applicable local and U.S. re-export regulations and Xylem policy.
Assist Regional Director of Trade Compliance in improving and executing the audit program
Lead functional teams or projects as required
Prepare or assist in preparing jurisdiction, classification, and binding ruling requests for review and approval by the Regional Trade Manager or Director.
Interface with Customs and Export Control Authorities (request for information, license applications, request for binding rulings, etc.); The TCO must be authorized by both the Regional Trade Manager and Business Location Senior Executive to sign license applications or correspondence with government authorities
Manage Customs Brokers. Establish and oversee Standard Operating Procedures, Due Diligence Review, and Contracts with Customs Brokers. Manage relationship to ensure performance meets requirements and contractual obligations. Conduct business reviews with Customs Brokers at least on an annual basis.
Review and confirm item classification in new product development process (gate reviews)
Conduct and report on Trade Compliance Internal Review to ensure compliance with Xylem policy and government import and export regulations
Assist in the strategy development for regional and global trade compliance objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration) or 2-year college degree preferred with specialized knowledge in trade compliance with equal experience to commensurate.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customs and/or Export Control compliance in an international business environment
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED- i ncluding any required certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Proficient in WCO Harmonized Tariff Classification
Proficient in Local Export Control and US re-export regulations
Proficient understanding and implementation of country specific Import / Export Regulations

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

THE ROLE: The Service Center Specialist will be responsible for inventory, work orders, invoicing (troubleshooting and repairing of equipment and other products) on the phone, in the shop and at field locations. In this role, the incumbent will also perform other duties related to the running and maintenance of the shop, sales and branch operations ensuring that customer contracts, billing, invoicing and issues of any administrative nature are resolved in a timely fashion. This role can support various business units and is critical to ensure proper documentation, payment and resolution of customer issues. - Process customer requests such as rental quote generation and order placement over the phone, in person or via e-mail
- Ability to document tasks in process flows
- Answer standard or non-routine product questions and direct questions to appropriate service or sales personnel when necessary
- Enter orders and arrange delivery to all sites and locations per the individual agreement including an understanding of the agreement of freight terms
- May be required to handle contract renewals and contract maintenance or changes of simple configuration or change of purchase order
- Reviews autorenewals of contracts and supports contract additions identified by branch staff
- Complete equipment and rental processes in tool and schedule product pick-up and prepare paperwork for customer sign off
- Supports branch staff in compiling metrics
- Assists branch manager and service staff ensuring customer requests are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure correct time entries and appropriate billing is maintained for projects and service engagements
- Obtain and updates forms of payment to process for service orders from customers
- Ensures all service operations and part numbers are added to service orders
- Ensures on site tech safety credentials or current training in place

THE ROLE : The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and repairing pumping and support equipment in a safe and efficient manner in a Xylem Service Center, Customer job site or via phone. Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Godwin fleet equipment between each rental.
Troubleshoot diesel engine, electrical systems and pump problems.
Rebuild diesel engines and pump ends.
Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed. Assist in the performance of start-up duties and ensure any problems are resolved.
Perform an initial inspection of Godwin fleet equipment for possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Perform preventative maintenance on Company vehicles and shop support equipment.
Perform diagnostic checks using computer technology.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications : Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
3-5 years of diesel experience and/or training or combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
Commercial Driver License B - Preferred
Diagnosing basic mechanical problems
Thorough understanding of the methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.
Basic understanding of pump station electrical controls and monitoring devices

General diesel engine component location and identification

DAY IN THE LIFE :
In this role, the working environment may be frequently outdoors, weather extremities, use of PPE, exposures to hazardous material, loud noise, etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to {regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs. In addition, this role may require frequent travel to customer sites and on-call as a regular part of the job.

SALARY :
The estimated salary range for this position is $26/hr. - $34/hr. Prepare and assist with various sales reports. This includes sales audits, bids, proposals, quotes, workload analysis, sales forecasts, territory potentials, call programs and routes, call reports and expense reports. Also submit any special reports regarding the operation of the territory, acceptance of products, or competitive conditions as may be required.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, sales blitzes, committee activities, conventions and trade shows as directed. Participate in other worthwhile community activities as public relations asset to the company.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years' sales or sales related experience (pump or rental industry preferred).
Thorough knowledge of consultative/value-based selling.
Knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulic, pneumatics, water flow, diesel, gas, and electric motors in related field of pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental or construction preferred.
Previous experience in the use of Salesforce.com or other CRM's is required.

DAY IN THE LIFE :
In this role, the working environment is both in office and visiting customer job sites as well as a shop environment. This position requires the ability to safely and effectively operate a company vehicle for extended periods of time throughout cities, job sites, major highways and interstates (including tunnels and bridges) and in all weather conditions. The standard weekly job hours are 40 hours and the travel requirement is up to 50%. This position requires the new hire to lift up to 70 lbs.

THE ROLE : The Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, service, repair and maintenance of Xylem - Flygt products in a safe and efficient manner in a Xylem Service Center, customer job site or via phone. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems and pump end issues and repair/rebuild as necessary.
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and service various products as directed. Diagnose and report any damage to the Manager.
Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list, manually or digitally, for assigned product. Review list of parts with Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed. Assist in the performance of start-up duties and ensure any problems are resolved.
Train new service or other shop personnel and customers, as needed, in service and/or other related standard work.
Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies and best practices.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.

DAY IN THE LIFE :
In this role, the working environment may be frequently outdoors, weather extremities, use of PPE, exposures to hazardous material, loud noise, etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to {regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs. In addition, this role may require frequent travel to customer sites and on-call as a regular part of the job.
Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours.
