The Role: The Xylem Innovation Labs team is a global corporate team that support Xylem Inc. in its mission to 'solve water' by scouting and leveraging new technologies that are critical to address the world's increasing water challenges. To support this mission, we are looking for a Program Coordinator to undertake a variety of remote office manager and program management tasks. You will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out operational tasks critical for the success of the program and department.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
This role requires you to support the team and department in its day-to-day and overall strategic objectives
Assist in oversight of multiple project/program teams and ensure standardization and coordination across teams
Bookkeeping/accounting and procurement/invoicing - process invoices, follow up on payment completion, track monthly cashflow against budget, etc.
Building and updating/maintaining schedules for overall programming/activities and pilot projects
Coordinating Demo Day for pilot project results of new technologies to be communicated across the company
Create reports for monthly and quarterly review by senior management
Manage relationships and correspond with outside vendors and internal teams including IT, finance, legal, marketing, procurement, etc.
Scheduling speakers for annually run seminar series
Document management - ensure all documents are properly named and saved and filed electronically on central server
IT tool management - assist new team members with onboard to IT tools used by the team, coordinating with technical/customer support as needed
Meeting coordination - setting up and coordinating program-wide meetings, team meetings, and virtual networking/team building events
Logistics - assist with coordinating all travel-related activities, including team meetings, conferences, and other business-related travel
Mail/ordering - assist with sending out/receipt of mail/packages as needed, ordering office supplies and other items
Other data entry and assistance as may be required for the smooth functioning of a remote, global team of ~10 people
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
5+ years professional experience
Proven experience in program management, office management or relevant position
Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
Tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Team player that can work in a fast-paced environment with teammates distributed across geographies/time zones
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

The Role: The Xylem Service Center Supervisor is responsible for leading the overall orders, revenue and gross margin growth of assigned Xylem products and services in an assigned service center. Additional responsibilities are to achieve and maintaining profitability of a Xylem service center through the management of daily operations and delivery of exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Maximize financial performance of the service center.
Grow and maintain an effective sales pipeline utilizing SalesForce.com. Maintain a Pipeline Revenue health >85%.
Coach and mentor the sales and ops team.
Work with Regional Ops/Sales Leadership to develop commercial sales strategies focused on long term business growth.
Manage selling costs and travel expenses and strive to operate within approved budgets for each fiscal quarter and year.
Partner with Marketing to manage sales blitzes, distributor and industry conferences, trade shows and other trade organizations to drive sales within the Region.
Manage labor, maintenance and repair costs while maintaining product quality
Maintain flexible, efficient and effective work flows and systems to reach financial and operational excellence.
Contribute to the development and deployment of systemic improvements to enhance the safety, quality, capacity and capability of business processes within the service center. Execute continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies to achieve business goals.
Coordinate equipment requirements to maintain an inventory adequate for efficient operation and maximum utilization. Routinely assess the need for rental equipment through feedback from sales personnel, customers and suppliers.
Contribute to the development to increase capacity within the service center to support service and repair on multiple Xylem product lines.
Utilize Net Promoter Score to identify opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer experience. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to recognize areas of customer dissatisfaction and develop plans to improve.
Ensure compliance of local, state and federal laws and regulation (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA and EEOC). Satisfy customer, corporate and contractual reporting requirements and needs.
Ensure the maintenance of a hazard-free and safe operating work environment. Serve as a role model and set a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and human resource management.
Promote and encourage a culture of teamwork employing best practices that benefit all employees.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor degree in business, technology, operations management or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of five years of industrial and/or relatable leadership experience, within a complex industrial or operations environment.
A minimum five years of successful sales management or management experience. Thorough knowledge of consultative/value-based selling.
Minimum of three years previous business management experience, including direct P&L responsibility.
Three years rental management experience preferred
Three to five years of experience in related field of pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental or construction preferred.
Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, strengths in goal setting, delegation, coaching and motivating
Highly developed management, organization and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and continuously motivate highly effective teams.
Successful track record in managing budgets and/or P&L responsibility.
Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills.
General knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a facility.
General knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulics; pneumatics; water flow; diesel, gas and electric motors preferred.
