THE ROLE: The Maintenance Technician 3rd shift- will be responsible for set up, installation, maintenance, safety and repair of plant machinery, structures, systems, and basic electrical/electronic work. $30.43 with an increase to $35.80 after 120 working days.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of practices and techniques, and operation of various types of equipment, tools, fixtures and instruments.
- Plans, details, (including material and equipment requirements) and carries out all tasks related to the maintenance, repair and installation of plant equipment and structures.
- Support subcontractor installation and repair efforts.
- Receives instructions, interprets requirements and performs required tasks. Ensures work is performed in a manner which meets existing codes, specs and regulations governing the operation and installation of
- Recommends tooling and equipment necessary to support work.
- Maintains familiarization with plant emergency systems including alarms, fire fighting systems, (sprinkler, extinguishers, etc).
- Performs basic troubleshooting, modification and repair of plant electrical supply and distribution systems.
- Responds to emergency situations ensuring minimal exposure to any health or safety risks for themselves or plant personnel. Works to protect plant property against damage.
- Obtains material, fixtures and tools necessary to perform assigned duties. Rigs and operates crane, forklift truck, handcart, etc. to handle, move, and position parts and equipment as required.
- Demonstrates ability to work alone and with minimal supervision.
- Strictly adheres to start up, cleaning, and shut down procedures/directions for all paint equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance work and monthly, annual or otherwise scheduled inspections of plant equipment, vehicles, cranes, systems and tooling.
- Maintains required records (electronic and/or hard copy).
- Disposes of materials in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements.
- Verify all gauges and measuring tools are within proper calibration dates.
- Performs daily safety checks on power vehicles and record findings on check off sheets.
- Wears, cleans, and properly maintains required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participates in all training deemed necessary to support job function and as required by regulatory agencies. Pass any required tests to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of skills.
- Is at the forefront of Heat Transfer's safety program. Considers and follows all safety precautions when performing work on equipment and plant systems. Ensures proper isolation of electrical devices to prevent injury or adverse affects on other systems. Observes all safety and shop rules.
- Required to perform work at heights over 20 feet. Required to use articulating boom lifts and other forms of man lifts.
- Assists and/or trains new employees in job classification.
- Maintains good housekeeping and a safe environment throughout work area(s), sweeps area(s), clears debris, etc. on a daily basis to assure this. Notifies supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two year college degree with evidence of experience in maintenance applications or 3-5 years practical experience in a manufacturing facility including familiarity with electrical, electronic and mechanical applications. Evidence of formal training in electrical/electronics is required, but may be waived based on practical experience.
- Competent in reading, interpreting drawings and capable of performing simple math calculations (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
- Must pass a written test.
- Must possess a valid New York State driver license with no moving violations for the previous two years, as well as never having been convicted of a DWI/DUI violation. Must supply a current DMV report verifying same.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role, the working environment is a typical heavy manufacturing facility with welding, machining, assembly etc. The physical demands may include but not limited to walking, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 35lbs.

Position Summary:
Xylem is looking for a Field Service technician to service our customers in the Warrendale, PA surrounding areas.
What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Job Summary:
The Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial direction of the company. THE ROLE: The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. DAY IN THE LIFE :

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Work as a regional point of escalation for the I2P Operations team and service provider for Invoice to Pay (I2P) processing
Leverage business expertise to provide functional support and develop training to various end-users as it relates to invoice and payment processing
Serve as a strategic business partner with Service Providers for escalation and problem resolution pertaining to Purchase Orders, Goods/Services Receiving, Invoicing and Payments to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
Support Procure to Pay (PTP) Leadership by driving problem solving and fact finding analysis

QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or additional equivalent experience
5+ years using SAP, including a focus on workflow solutions and supplier portal/automation technologies.
5+ years of high volume Accounts Payable Accounting experience in a fast paced dynamic environment
Solid understanding of the Invoice to Pay process, including sub ledger and general ledger account balancing and reconciliation
Strong analytical skills and data analysis ability with the background and a deep knowledge of business systems applications.
Accuracy and detail oriented
Vendor Relations experience, strong customer service skills
Excellent analytical skills demonstrating an ability to identify root cause, generating and evaluating alternatives and implementing solutions; Ability to recognize and recommend changes
Demonstrate both the ability and motivation to work collaboratively in a team environment, across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight
Previous experience leading process improvement initiatives is required; Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus

Understand and apply NDE codes and requirements
Identify root causes and trends of work area issues, communicate to support and empower work group

Mentor and advise Welder and Sr Welder
Performs Sr Welder responsibilities:
Interprets engineered drawings
Follows red-line process, recommends modifications and improvements when applicable using weld symbols and dimensions
Troubleshoots and repairs consumable failures such as spring liners and tip nozzle insulators
Performs Welder responsibilities:
Performs basic operations using hand and power tools including but not limited to chipping hammers and grinders
Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP)
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues such as faulty consumables
Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and peers to produce a quality product in a timely manner
Contributes to division results and performance
Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

The Role:

Global Brand Management:
Brand strategy. Global responsibility for Xylem's brand strategy (e.g. audiences, architecture, positioning, identity/expression, messaging, activation, measurement) across our master brand, Xylem, and 35+ product brands.
Brand management. Drive stakeholder-intensive process of formal brand reviews with output to evolve Xylem, Xylem Watermark, and 35+ product brands. Coordinate with legal team to ensure legal issues, trademarks, and brand equity are properly maintained.
Brand guidelines. Maintain and evolve global brand guidelines to maximize value of brand expression in all our major languages across multiple international platforms for enterprise brand (Xylem) and 35+ product brands.
Brand insights. Generate actionable brand insights, using best-in-class tools and customer interviews.
Agency management. Global responsibility to cultivate relationships with leading brand agencies, and when needed, quickly scope, on-board, and activate brand agencies to support our objectives.
Team management. Direct the work of dedicated team, agency network, and global brand champions network.
Stakeholder management. Influence key business leaders, marketing leaders, and brand owners across the business.
Global Brand Partnerships
Overall partnerships strategy. Global responsibility for setting strategy and objectives for global brand partnerships, internal and external messaging and communications, measuring impact, and identifying the brand partnerships and rights that most efficiently meet the partnership objectives.
Partnership management. Drive outcomes from our brand partnerships, most notably the $6M+ partnership with City Football Group / Manchester City Football Club. This includes all elements from contract negotiation through execution: leading campaign ideation, partner/stakeholder management, production planning and execution, activation planning and execution.
Business development. Develop relationships with other potential brand partners engaged in purpose-driven marketing to further our activation impact around the cause of water and raising awareness of global water challenges and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent
Brand/marketing leader with 10+ years of marketing/brand experience in international context
Track record developing brand architecture, guidelines and brand identity across a portfolio of brands, products or services
5 years' experience in sport/entertainment brand partnership management
Experience with launching/growing and/or repositioning a portfolio of brands globally
Demonstrated ability to build strong business partnerships with Senior Leadership

THE ROLE: The Senior Driver Technician will be responsible for safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle, transporting materials/equipment from point A to point B. This role initiates and executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner, including proactive system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions (based on the requirements of the assigned role/customer), and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). THE ROLE : The Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist is accountable to develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and transform the current culture to a culture of continuous improvement. These process improvement initiatives are driven throughout the organization and often extended to suppliers, customers, and transactional functional groups. The expectation is to deliver long-term, breakthrough results in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and inventory.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Drive the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects consistent with and in support of the strategic plan and business operating plan.
Assist in designing new procedures and methods for operational processes,by utilizing project charters with deliverables. Will work with site leaders to identify, modify, and sustain desired changes including reducing waste and improving inefficiencies.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement via idea generation. Lead projects and initiatives from idea generation to execution.
Mentor employees to realize benefits from all continuous improvement initiatives and act as a change agent to the site/organization.
Develop and conduct lean training based on the site Lean training initiatives.
Own Lean Maturity Element and improvement initiatives for the site. Partner with site leaders on strategy and deployment of maturity objectives.
Facilitate multi-day kaizen events & workshops with cross-functional teams ranging from shop floor to executive leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience working across technical functional groups including engineering, quality, tech services, and manufacturing.
BS/BA Degree
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma Tools; 5S, Standard Work, VSM, MDI, FMEA, etc.
5 to 10 years of successful execution of continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma efforts and enabling efficiency, effectiveness and tangible financial benefit
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Hands-on and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement programs including deployment of lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Experience in facilitating workshop, kaizen and training events.
Demonstrated successful project management experience and acumen
Comfortable with ambiguity
Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills in planning and organizing to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Ability to coach / mentor / inspire
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Work Environment:
Office: Standard office equipment
Expectation is to spend at least 25% of the time on the manufacturing floor
This role will require up to 25% travel, primarily within the United States and Mexico
