• Minimum 21 years of age

• Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience

• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment:

• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR

• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Pass a DOT physical

Job Summary

The Customer Development Manager position is responsible for the management of assigned accounts in the Business Unit (BU); the education/development of customer interest in additional Ryder services (including: Full Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, Fleet Management Services and Dedicated Contract Carriage) by utilizing the Ryder Sales Process. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is critical to the success in this role.

The position requires ground travel and includes salary, mileage reimbursement, company cell phone, and excellent monthly commission potential. Some travel may apply for training. We also offer a full benefits package, 401k employer match, and a discount on shares!

Essential Functions

• Maintain regular and consistent contact with customers to meet customer requirements. Develop sales penetration plan. Segment account base by opportunity for growth and potential for risk. Present Ryder services and capabilities. Develop relationships with all customer buying influences. Develop complete understanding of customers business, goals and objectives. Work with RIL to develop opportunities for the application of those services as appropriate. Serve as facilitator between customer and Ryder departments or Ryder vendors.

• Ensure contracted services are delivered to customer. Orchestrate the development of a productive working relationship with the customer. Maintain appropriate customer contact. Understand and manage customer satisfaction perception. Conduct regularly scheduled customer reviews. Monitor CSI results by account. Develop knowledge base of competitive alternatives. Contribute to an effective transition of accounts sold.

• Proactively anticipate problems through continuous dialogue with customer & Ryder staff. Supply customer with information regarding operational performance. Learn customers business & operations

• Training and improvement of sales skills, industry knowledge and personal growth needs

Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor plans, directs and controls driver scheduling, allocation, and dispatching and communication functions to effect economical utilization of driver facilities. • Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night, 4 nights per Week

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Tractor Type: Super Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Pass a DOT physical

• Pass a Ryder road test

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

• Performs other duties as assigned
