The Business Development Specialist is responsible for external sales activities to build and grow census, to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts, and to execute community events for referral sources and customers.
Invests a minimum of 90% of work time on face-to-face referral development completing sales calls to physicians, hospital and medical professionals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, community organizations, and other related contacts. Typically completing an average of 30-40 sales calls weekly generating building tours, presentations and increasing business

Job Roles/Essential Functions

Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred
Current state appropriate license as a Registered Nurse
BCLS
ACLS required within one year of hire
PALS required within one year of hire

Specialized with: Traction set-up, Trapeze, set-up, Continuous Passive Motion Machines, and External Fixation Devices
Generations 7 acute care will offer a wide variety of experiences, as they receive patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
**We are working to become certified in Geriatric Hip Fractures.

POSITION SUMMARY Pre-Analytic Technician is a general job description. All Pre-Analytic Techs are required to perform the essential job duties. Additional functions are driven by shift and the functional area the individual is assigned to. ACCOUNTABILITIES All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise 1. Knowledgeable regarding the combinations of tests and the associated acceptable minimum volumes, as well as pre-analytic variables that may affect specimen analysis. Familiar with test synonyms and abbreviations, and cross-referencing tests to specimen types. 2. Utilize the Laboratory and Hospital Information System independently. 3. Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and infection control. Comply with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies by attending mandatory in-services and continuing laboratory education and participating in continuous quality improvement. Maintain and upgrade personal development. 4. Assist in the training and orientation of new employees or students. 5. Notify proper associate or order stocked supplies when supply is low. 6. Follow Standard Safety Precautions. 7. Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers. Diplomatic liaison between nursing units and laboratory. 8. Clean and stock work areas. Scope of Service:
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. Position Summary:
The Patient Care Tech under direction of a registered nurse, performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for a patient or a group of patients and performs clerical/receptionist services as required. The PCT will assist nursing personnel in all areas while complying with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice in conjunction with all members of the healthcare team. Understands level of independent practice and performs duties with appropriate supervision. Has a service oriented attitude toward patients, physicians, families, and coworkers.
High School Diploma or GED
STNA Certification required
Notary Public designation for completion of birth certificates - can obtain after hire
CPR Certification
Flexibility to float to other departments within hospital as needed
