Job Description:
VAXCOM, a Parsons company, is seeking a skilled electronic controls technician to support a program located in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining electronic security screening equipment and possess an active TS/SCI Security clearance.
Installs, maintains and repairs products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at the client and/or field locations.
Instructs customers in equipment operation, provides technical assistance, performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots equipment for malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
Performs one or many of a wide range of installation tasks such as running conduit and cable, installing and connecting trays, racks and electronic hardware systems, connecting and testing both new and retrofit construction of audio/visual, computer server, network and telecommunications equipment.
Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
Completes final commissioning and integrated acceptance testing of electrical systems and associated equipment.
Ensures the commissioning and final acceptance of critical path equipment is conducted to clients requirements and in accordance with applicable industry standards (API, ABS, DNV, etc.).
Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
Travels frequently to customer sites in performance of duties.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Basic Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
A Bachelor's Degree.
Candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a post-start CI Polygraph.
At least seven years of federal law enforcement, IC, cyber security or general law enforcement investigations or operations experience.
Experience using data analytics tools and databases.
Developing and delivering professional-level reports, memorandums, information, briefings, and/or recommendations that support inquiries and investigations.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Orals/Interview Coach to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and prepare teams to ace customer-facing interviews across both our federal and infrastructure business units. You'll provide strategic guidance and mentorship to capture teams on how to craft compelling introductions, develop and deliver customer-focused presentations, ace the question-and-answer component of the interview, as well as prepare for behavioral and scenario-based interviews.

What You'll Be Doing:
Orals/Interview Coaching.
Sets the overall coaching strategy and maintains a high degree of decision-making authority; develops coaching execution plan and schedule and drives it to completion.
Creates and manages the interview/orals process, establishing best practices and approaches to execute presentations successfully.
Holds team members accountable for their work and encourages them to stay focused and motivated throughout the process; provides timely and actionable feedback, celebrates milestones and achievements, diplomatically resolves any conflicts that may arise, and recognizes the contributions of each team member.
Provides regular updates to senior leadership on the team's progress in preparing for the interview.
Manages the development of talk tracks, scenario-based questions, and sample customer questions.
Guides interview/orals teams to think from the customer/evaluator perspective, coaching teams on how to communicate persuasively and present complex, technical information to non-technical evaluators.
Presentation Architect.
Interprets solicitation requirements and develops a plan for addressing orals presentation and problem-solving requirements.
Facilitate sessions with subject matter experts to determine how to best present content that highlights the strengths of our offering against the requirements of a solicitation.
Collaborates with capture and proposal teams, as well as subject matter experts, to develop customer-focused narratives and presentations, combining text, graphics, and multimedia to create concepts for presenting high-impact and high-scoring information. Our graphic artists will package that information into clear, visually stunning material.
Manages the development, execution, and delivery of clear, compelling presentations that meet all solicitation requirements and present differentiated solutions while maximizing solution strengths.
Thinks strategically to convey compelling value propositions, both visually and verbally; prepares teams to effectively deliver that content, respond to questions, and develop and present sample problem or scenario responses in real-time.
Coaches each presenter, providing direct, constructive, and actionable feedback to increase presentation quality.
Question & Answer Development, Talk Tracks, and Scenario Preparation.
Prepares teams to tackle the Q&A component of the interview, coaching them on best practices to effectively field and answer both known and unknown questions and scenarios.
Works with subject matter experts to develop compelling and differentiated talk tracks and responses that focus on answering the question, articulating our value proposition, and concluding with key proof points to bolster our position.
Works with individual presenters on how to best convey their content in various settings, including in-person, live video conference or teleconference sessions, or recorded video presentations.
Coaches interview/orals teams on how to deliver impactful responses within the allotted timeframes provided.
Assists team in improving their public speaking and presentation skills, both in group and individual settings.
Facilitates informal and formal rehearsal sessions (e.g., independent mock panel evaluations) to prepare teams, providing constructive, real-time, and actionable feedback.
Collaborative Interview Preparation.
Prepares capture teams to win interviews, presentations, and behavioral assessments, laying the foundation for successful project delivery.
Facilitates collaboration among people from diverse organizations, disciplines, and countries to form cohesive teams that achieve individual and project-wide objectives.
Evaluates individual and group behavior and culture to form interpersonal connections and create high-trust environments.
Empowers team members to discover and build upon their collaborative strengths.
Coach teams in building material and collaboratively responding to problems presented to them with no advanced notice.
Trains teams to prepare confidently and collaboratively to deliver cohesive interviews and presentations that align with customer objectives while demonstrating collective and individual expertise.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
US Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
15+ years of experience in U.S. Government and Commercial proposals, capture, and/or business development.
5+ years of experience successfully coaching interview/orals teams, particularly on large and complex government procurements, including FEDSIM acquisitions.
Ability to work collaboratively and strategically with diverse teams.
Demonstrated executive leadership is essential.
Ability and willingness to travel 40-50% of the year.

Job Description:
VAXCOM, a Parsons company, is seeking a skilled electronic controls technician to support a program located in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining electronic security screening equipment and possess an active TS/SCI Security clearance.
Installs, maintains and repairs products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at the client and/or field locations.
Instructs customers in equipment operation, provides technical assistance, performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots equipment for malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
Performs one or many of a wide range of installation tasks such as running conduit and cable, installing and connecting trays, racks and electronic hardware systems, connecting and testing both new and retrofit construction of audio/visual, computer server, network and telecommunications equipment.
Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
Completes final commissioning and integrated acceptance testing of electrical systems and associated equipment.
Ensures the commissioning and final acceptance of critical path equipment is conducted to clients requirements and in accordance with applicable industry standards (API, ABS, DNV, etc.).
Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
Travels frequently to customer sites in performance of duties.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Description:
T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA's nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. What You'll Be Doing:
Assists in responsibilities related to cost control, budget control, data management, reporting and the project control system.
Identifies best practices and coordinate the development and implementation of project controls tools and procedures to support these best practices.
Hands on, detailed analysis and validation of financial data to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
Organizes program and project level financial data to enable timely and accurate reports.
Develops metrics and reports so that accurate and timely information can be provided to management and stakeholders.
Develops new program and project control processes and procedures related to budgets, estimates, schedules and roll up of program information.
Reviews proposed project budget and scope changes for proper justification and documentation.
Troubleshoots project-specific budget, scope, schedule, funding or documentation issues working with other Divisions, Branches or Departments.
Manages sub-contractor and client invoicing cycles.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) as well as 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent work experience required
Assignments require the working knowledge of various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Excel, Primavera, and Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS).
Must be comfortable working virtually and doing daily check-in's with management on project updates.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer II to join our team! In this role you will get to work in an experienced team environment in support of a hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) lab we maintain and operate for our customer. The candidate's main responsibility will be analyzing, developing, and simulating various RF technologies, specifically Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyze, develop, and simulate various RF technologies, specifically GNSS signals
Analyze and characterize CRPA antenna array systems
Analyze and characterize performance of GNSS receivers
Analyze GNSS test data and various other testing data
Analyze and develop navigation algorithms and coupling architectures
Analyze and characterize performance of navigation sensors such as accelerometers and gyros
Calibrate RF equipment and RF systems in support of test events
Prepare and deliver reports/briefings to our customer
Required Clearance:
Must be US Citizen and have an ACTIVE Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Active TS/SCI is preferred
Required Education & Experience:
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline required - Master's with 2+ years experience or Ph.D.
Knowledge of antenna arrays, preferred CRPA experience
Knowledge of GNSS receivers to include receiver front-end specifications and internal GNSS tracking loops and processing
Ability to develop software receivers from acquisition to navigation solution formation
Knowledge of GNSS/INS Integration at various levels of coupling architecture
Be able to operate lab-grade RF equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscopes, etc.)
C++, MATLAB and/or Python
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Knowledge of wireless communications and protocols
Solid background in electromagnetic propagation
Calibration of RF systems and equipment
Machine Learning implementation
Simulation of multiple dynamic systems
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Estimator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform estimating activities for a wide variety of project types and delivery methods.
The Senior Construction Estimator should have a minimum of 5 years of a combination of field and/or estimating experience, preferably with an at-risk direct-hire multi-disciplinary heavy civil infrastructure contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience on DOT/ Highway, Water / Wastewater, Industrial, and/or Commercial markets . Candidate must understand the essentials of heavy civil contracting business.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop comprehensive estimates in accordance with common construction estimating practices and software
Perform detailed review of project plans and specifications
Perform quantity takeoffs for civil and structural construction activities.
Prepare top-down conceptual and bottoms-up detailed estimates
Utilize HCSS estimating software to create activities, develop crews, and determine production rates to accurately reflect the means and methods required to build the work
Compare productivity rates with historical data
Coordinate with estimating team to ensure all contract scope is covered
Initiate contact and solicit quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers
Collaborate with other estimators, schedulers, and construction engineers to develop efficient construction means and methods
Actively participate in bid reviews
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Understand the essentials of the heavy civil contracting business, application of products, basic code knowledge, and good organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience with heavy civil estimating practices.
More than 5 years of related practical work experience in the direct-hire heavy civil construction industry familiar with products, methods, and estimating activities.
Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with construction contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent communication skills including ability to effectively present ideas and work product to team members.
Ability to work independently and within teams as appropriate
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Familiarity with typical project controls and estimating software such as Microsoft Office, Primavera scheduling software, and HCSS HeavyBid is preferred.
Experience with CAD / 3D modeling is ideal (Trimble Business Center HCE, Civil 3D, OpenRoads)
