Exercise thought leadership and practical systems engineering application by leveraging extensive Systems Engineering and MBSE experiences to lead the Digital Engineering support provided to the Customer.
Oversee definition and documentation of program level systems engineering policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of modeling languages and frameworks in the execution of systems engineering.
Develop an organized repeatable systems engineering approach, that enables architectural elements usage with a model and sharing between model development projects.
Lead program in the development and execution of Model Based Systems Engineering.
Work with enterprise systems engineering and other programs in gathering, documenting, and sharing systems engineering lessons learned throughout the program.
Work across multiple organizations supporting the identification and definition of future space capability needs.
Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors.

. Performs cybersecurity planning, management, and oversight of the SDDC Integrated Booking System (IBS) in accordance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). Serve as the development team Information Security Manager (ISM), working collaboratively with the government ISSO, SDDC IA, USTRANSCOM IA and program PMO. Engaged in all aspects of program cybersecurity (development through production sustainment, maintenance, and incident response).

The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking an Information Systems Assessment and Authorization analyst to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is provides strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performing all functional duties with some oversight.

We are looking for an experienced, Part-time, Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Seattle TRACON (S46), located in Burien, WA, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The CTS Instructor is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures. We are looking for an experienced, Part -time, Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Omaha TRACON (R90), located in Bellevue , NE, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The CTS Instructor is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures. SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing Oracle and Postgres databases, as well as extensive experience with AWS managed databases including RDS, Aurora and Redshift. This role requires a deep understanding of database failover and recovery, backups, migration of on-premises databases to AWS, and proficiency with AWS CloudWatch. The successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring database performance, availability, and security, and experienced in handling data warehouses.
Job Responsibilities:
Database Management:Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of databases.
Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required to ensure optimal performance.
Failover and Recovery: Design and execute database backup and recovery strategies, including failover planning and testing.
Migration and Upgrade: Lead migration projects from on-premises databases to AWS, including planning, execution, and validation of database migrations and upgrades.
Security and Compliance: Ensure database security measures are in place, including access controls and audit logging. Comply with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize AWS Redshift instances and other data warehousing solutions for scalable and efficient data storage and analysis.
Monitoring: Utilize AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to ensure database health, performance, and to automate scaling and notifications.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide high-level support for complex database issues, including troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, etc.

Citizenship - Must be a US Citizen.
Clearance - Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation.
Location - This role will be Remote/Telework with on-site visits (Kingstowne, VA and/or Ashburn, VA) if /when needed. This team utilizes an on-call schedule which may require travel to the datacenter site(s).
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 9 years' experience; Master's degree and 7 years' experience.
Database Expertise: Proven experience as a DBA with expertise in Oracle and Postgres databases.
AWS Managed Databases: Extensive experience with AWS database services, including Aurora, RDS, and Redshift.
Failover and Recovery: Solid experience in database failover, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
Migration Experience: Demonstrated experience with migrating on-premises databases to AWS.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, database design, and data modeling. Familiarity with AWS CLI, SDKs, and CloudWatch.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Certifications: AWS or relevant database certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, PostgreSQL Professional).
Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of database tasks.
Monitoring Tools: Deep familiarity with database monitoring tools, especially AWS CloudWatch, for performance monitoring and alerting.
Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization, for example, AWS Redshift.
