Job Description
SAIC is looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MySQL instances. You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances. You will also work in tandem with the other teams, preparing documentations and specifications as required.
Responsibilities
. Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
. Ensures all database instances have required security controls applied in accordance with DCSA policies (e.g., access controls, STIGs, version updates)
. Prepare documentations and specifications
. Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
. Supports translation of improvement requirements and requests into detailed functional and technical specifications and project plans for the data management team, as well as ensures compliance with Government data standards and records management policies
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
It is required that the MySQL Database Administrator have the following skills and qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science
. Nine (9) or more years of experience. However, four (4) additional years of experience may be considered, in lieu of a degree
. Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI
. IAT Level II, Certification in one of the following areas, CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
. Applicable Database Compute Environment (CE) Certification
. Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
. Hands-on experience with recent versions of MySQL (i.e., 8.0)
. Understanding of MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
. Experience with replication configuration in MySQL
. Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL
. Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
Must be able to go onsite at Quantico
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

SAIC is looking for a Configuration Manager with a TS/SCI clearance who is also experienced in supporting Navy Sites and Programs of Record (PoR) in San Diego, CA. This position is responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all software, inventory, product releases, for a Navy Acquisition Program. This individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. The Configuration Manager shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance. Job tasks include:
. Working in integrated cross-functional teams
. Applying analytical and problem solving skills related to configuration and data management issues
. Configuration management planning, configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
. Participating in and running Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Local Configuration Control Boards (LCCBs).
. Applying knowledge of regulations regarding change process and identifying, storing, tracking, and managing configuration items
. Application of hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
. Update and maintain records/documents in configuration management systems or processes, including CMPRO and SPIDER databases

. Knowledge of Agile development process
. Ability to apply concepts and define hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures

- Responsible for overseeing the configuring, managing, monitoring, and maintaining government Command and Control (C2) voice and video collaboration devices.
- Subject matter expert for architect, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise collaboration solutions supporting an operational voice and video network.
- Develops collaboration architecture designs, studies and plans; supports design, test readiness, and operational readiness reviews.
- Provides senior program managers with recommendations on voice and video collaboration approaches and strategies for new and continued business.
- Develops, implements, and manages voice and video collaboration processes including design standards to ensure compliance, relevancy, and sustainability.
- Performs capacity planning of the collaboration services by monitoring and analyzing network, performance and availability of voice and video services.
- Proactively researches and evaluates tools and technologies, as appropriate, to the collaboration environment, while developing solutions to increase performance and lower the total cost of ownership.
- Provides Tier III and IV support by providing trouble resolution of the voice and video infrastructure and perform on-call duties and off-hours support when needed.
- Flexible with scheduled support of outages after hours and on weekends.

The Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a Quantitative Fleet Feedback (QFF) Support senior training analyst to provide fleet training data collection and assessment support to Commander, U.S. Third Fleet (C3F) in San Diego, CA. The candidate must be knowledgeable of all phases of the Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP) and carrier strike group operations.
The individual in this position will provide QFF program analysis support and serve as a fleet training program analyst performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks associated with training assessment and reporting using the Navy Warfare Training System (NWTS) and Navy Training Information Management System (NTIMS) for the C3F staff. Training program analysts have experience at the senior level including supervisory experience. Job Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on border crossing station equipment, including but not limited to s LPR equipment, radar sensors, network/power, and communication devices.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Install new equipment and systems according to specifications and guidelines provided by customs and border protection authorities.

Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repair histories, and inventory levels.

Required:

Current holder of a CBP Public Trust Clearance- Requiring US Citizenship
Ability to drive daily to job sites up to 100 miles away.
May travel to other locations on the U.S. border to assist with installations and ticket resolutions for up to two weeks.
