We are looking for a Working Manager. You will be responsible for carrying requisitions while managing a team of Talent Acquistion Partners.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is an experienced professional who will play a crucial role in finding and retaining top talent for the company. The TA Manager serves as a strategic business partner with leadership and recruiting team implementing the organization's recruitment strategy by leading and developing hiring strategies and leading employment branding initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess the organization's staffing requirements and analyze workforce gaps and identify areas where new hires are needed.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Identify individuals who align with the organization's values and goals.

  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the recruitment strategies to acquire top talent and retain outstanding employees.

  • Create comprehensive plans for attracting and recruiting top talent by considering various channels, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals.

  • Actively search for suitable candidates through various methods, including direct sourcing, networking, attending job fairs.

  • Utilize metrics to analyze data and identify areas of improvement.

  • Supervise Talent Acquisition Partners

  • Ensure company compliance, to include comprehensive understanding of compliance with OFCCP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or other pertinent discipline is preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 12+ years Talent Acquisition experience

  • 5+ years managing and leading others.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong customer services orientation.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment includes ambient room temperatures, well-lit work areas and traditional office equipment as found in atypical office environment. Must occasionally lift or move 20+ pounds.

Summary

The primary duties of the Construction Manager are to ensure the installation of the DI equipment is completed safely, on time, on budget, and within the specifications of the project. The Construction Manager will represent PowerSecure at the project site level, oversee all construction activities, be present for all equipment deliveries, manage subcontractors and internal resources, as well as interfacing with the customer, utility, and local AHJ's.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in construction, energy industries preferred.

  • Ability to read and communicate proficiently in English.

  • Ability to use computer and proficient with standard office software.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be punctual, organized, and professional.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, utilities, and AHJ's.

  • Knowledge of construction management and construction process.

  • Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency, while maintaining high quality and customer service.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Subcontractors and Internal Resources

Essential Functions

  • Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.

  • Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and/or other stakeholders.

  • Proficiently understand all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation.

  • Ensure project sites are always left in a tidy manner and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.

  • Properly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule.

  • Proficiently communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.

    Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to work in various positions including low to the ground or on a ladder.

  • Travel required (70%+), must be willing and able to drive company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary.

  • Must be able to stand or walk for 3-4 hours at a time.

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of employees responsible for all maintenance related activities at the site including safety, compliance, reliability, efficiency and workforce excellence. This individual will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance in support/communication of Southern Nuclear goals and strategic initiatives. This position ensures that Nuclear Safety is the overriding priority and instills this priority in the maintenance workers.

- Own the POD / Outage schedule during execution.

- Participate in T-week meetings as well as review and provide input to the T-week schedules.

- Own the Corrective Action Program.

- Work schedule may include either 10 hour dayshift, 12 hour rotating shift or 12 hour rotating shift relief.

- Observe maintenance workers and provide intervention and coaching to reinforce management expectations and positive behaviors.

- Provide employees with regular feedback on performance, including coaching and intervention to reinforce expectations and develop acceptable behaviors.

- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with approved written documents such as approved plant procedures and work order instructions.

- Develop craft through teaching & learning, training and industry best practices.

- Support initiatives such as Maintenance Ownership and Subject Matter Expert activities.

- Participate as required in benchmarking and assessment activities.

- Provide on-the-job training and evaluation opportunities for employees.

- Maintain a high level of productivity within the work force.

- Participate in the training process, own the training process and observe the training process as required.

- Own the Corrective Maintenance Backlog.

- The successful candidate must be committed to -Constant Improvement- for themselves, the employees and the facility.

JOB EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Five years' nuclear maintenance, or equivalent experience required.

- Maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience preferred.

- One year supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

- One year of commercial or Navy nuclear power experience is desired.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously

- Must have strong communication and presentation skills

- Must have strong problem-solving skills

- Must be able to work in any environment demanded of the work force, including temperature extremes and elevations

- Must have a working knowledge of plant maintenance and shop practices, with aptitude in all disciplines

- Must have a working knowledge of OSHA and NRC requirements and be familiar with plant design and function

- Understanding of IBEW contract preferred

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide inventory management and control for the company's service center, warehouse, depot, and plant locations. Functional Expertise:

  • Maintains inventory on ERP Material Management System (e.g., adds/removes stock numbers, adds new items and descriptions).

  • Maintains appropriate inventory levels to ensure material availability and minimize Company's investment.

  • Set up, maintain, and monitor Depot Level Service material at all company and contractor locations.

  • Monitors and/or processes all material returns and material distribution corrections and journal entries to ensure that materials and activities are accurately charged to the proper accounts. This includes and the handling of returned nonstock material.

  • Schedules, monitors, and assists in performing all physical counts of materials at the company, including the daily cycle counts, physical pipe counts at the contractor yards, and the fuel and pipe inventories at the company yards. Reconciles the inventory variances and make the appropriate entries to ERP to correct identified errors.

  • Consults with third party material integrator, suppliers, and contractors; works closely with Buyers and Regional Management to define service and material levels.

  • Assists field personnel with special requests, delivery schedules, and material availability for both stock and non-stock items. Assists customers with questions on ordering and processing invoices.

  • Work with manufacturers, third party supplier, safety, and various other departments with approval and creation of appropriate gas material items.

  • Assist with company service center, warehouse, and depot with Maximo and Oracle invoicing concerns.

Engagement:

  • Provides customers (e.g. Field operations personnel, Project Coordinators, and pipeline contractors) with pipeline infrastructure materials.

  • Supports internal and external customers to achieve best practices and material standardization. Prepares data and assists with internal and external audits.

  • Attend various business units' departmental meetings and provide service/value to their needs.

Job Specific Summary (this section defines examples of the duties and the role of the crew leader)

  • Serves as company liaison between excavators, municipalities, builders, developers, landowners, logging operators, SCG Contractors and/or their agents / contractors, etc. by responding to any issues or concerns.

  • Serve as liaison to the excavating community, internal stakeholders, and locators to ensure a proper locate is completed and no down time claim occurs.

  • Conducts education sessions with locate contractors, excavators, landowners, and homeowners regarding protecting assets.

  • Stand by when any work is being performed on or near SCGs High Profile facilities by 3rd party excavators.

  • Respond to Asset Protection High Profile facilities, incidents, and emergencies on and off our Right-of-Ways

  • Monitor and work with the Locate contractor to correct performance.

  • Attend large project pre-con meetings and monitor progress to protect assets.

  • Monitor and follow-up on daily ticket load to prevent future damages.

  • Assist with damage investigations at time of damage or during research.

  • Attend meetings related to Asset Protection contracts and projects prior to projects beginning.

  • Represent company at Local Damage Prevention meetings.

  • Provide direction and oversight to field operations to improve reporting on damages per Federal and State Requirements.

  • Support Trade Show, Industry Committees and One Call events regarding Asset Protection.

  • Ensure required Asset Protection documentation through Compliance Tracking Systems and SharePoint Sites or other electronic means remain up to date.

  • Review quality issues with management and implement improvements to protect assets.

  • Operate and carry locating equipment.

  • Operate portable computer (MDT).

JOB SUMMARY

Southern Power's Financial Evaluation & Structuring organization is part of Southern Power Finance. This position is accountable for the structuring and implementation of tax credit transfers and tax equity transactions for renewable assets. This position also performs financial analysis, financial model development, risk/return analysis, and generation business case development. These activities are done in support of Southern Power Company's (SPC) strategic growth initiatives and wholesale marketing efforts. This position is located in Birmingham, Alabama, in the Energy Center at the Colonnade. Travel to Atlanta and customer locations across the U.S. is sometimes required but not frequent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with both internal and external groups to lead the structuring and implementation of financing activities including the transfer of tax credits and tax equity financing

  • Manage the ongoing obligations related to tax equity including repowering of current SPC assets

  • Manage external consultant relationships ensuring timely and accurate third-party reports

  • Work closely with internal and external groups to identify key risk areas for project economics and collaborate to ensure all items are properly accounted for

  • Develop financial structuring around tax benefits for renewable asset acquisitions and developments

  • Support business case development, financial analysis, and risk analysis for renewable (including storage) and gas generation acquisition and development opportunities for SPC

  • Develop an understanding of renewable energy markets and legislation and how they impact individual projects, specifically the tax incentives for renewables outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • BS in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or other related technical fields is highly desired

  • MS in these fields or an MBA is desired

Experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired:

  • Wholesale/retail utility finance (including proforma & cash flow analysis)

  • Structured finance and/or tax equity transactions

  • Contract negotiation

  • Economic evaluation

  • Project valuation

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Current PMP Certification or prepared to actively pursue.

  • 3+ Years' demonstrated Project Management ability in a manufacturing or construction industry.

  • A knowledge of ERP (IFS or SAP preferred) and CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred) Procore & other project tools knowledge is necessary.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to solve difficult coordination problems and provide structure to situations where only limited (or conflicting) information exists.

The candidate will directly support the company's efforts to address potential insider threats to the company's facilities, personnel, technology, operations, and brand.

The successful applicant will leverage analytical skills to identify and track potential insider threat activity, develop content specific to technical sabotage against critical systems, conduct research on behalf of the team, and help ensure that capabilities are effectively implemented. The Analyst will learn to use statistical techniques, machine learning capabilities and artificial intelligence tools to identify and analyze suspicious behavior.

Ideally, the candidate will also bring experience bridging the gap between cyber-physical security and the engineering or operation of industrial control systems. Example competencies include familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Triage alerts by conducting limited inquiry to classify activity for further investigation and resolution

  • Interpret relevant data sets, use techniques, and manipulate tools to identify potential insider threat behavior and risks

  • Implement best practices for tuning analytic technologies to maximize probability of detection while minimizing false positives
