The Building Automation Service Sales Manager is committed to promoting Siemens strong market position for delivering smart building technology to help our customers create outstanding experiences for their customers. As a Building Automation Service Sales Manager you will:
Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas.
Act as a resource to sales employeesregardingour products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation.
Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs andidentifycustomer buying priorities.
Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customerobjectives.Assistemployees in setting margins,identifyingresources, assessing future business, andestablishingexecutive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers.
Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with your team and other employees, and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets.
Assistthe sales team inidentifyingmarket opportunities; develop strategies to improve impacttothe company. Participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies.
Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics andmaintaintrade contacts andparticipatein industry association functions.
Travel overnight 10% on average for training and business development.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
10+ years of sales experience
Must be able todemonstrate:
Technicalproficiencyin application of mechanical systems, electrical systems, IT, building technologies, and/or demand-side energy management
Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies
Working knowledge and understanding of contracting business with tier of contractors
Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering
Management experience in the construction industry
Experience selling to various vertical markets such as healthcare, higher education, etc.
Experience selling to contractors, architects, and/or end users
Experience within the HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls industry
Proficiencywith Salesforce CRM

The pay range for this position is $118,790 - $203,640 per year, with an annual incentive target of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills,qualifications,and premium geographic location.

The Field Service Engineer performs emergency repairs, warranty service, startup and commissioning support of electrical power distribution and control equipment.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
Correcting and logging resolution of client identified warranty and quality control issues.
Provide operation and installation training.
Providing technical support for field startup pretesting using typical electrical test equipment and program uploading, firmware update installation and operational operation testing of GUI PLC and Relay devices.
Provide mechanical system repairs and modifications.
Supporting administrative and planning meetings with clients and contribute to performance improvement.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
5 plus years of experience in diverse field service and / or industrial or construction engineering technical support.
3 plus years of experience in 600V rated electrical power experience with most types of switchgear.
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Reading schematics and blueprints for power control, automation, and customer technical support.
Proficient in dealing with client interactions and completing projects on time and within budget guidelines.
Excellent customer service, time management and follow-up skills
Work effectively with internal and external customers and peers to resolve client issues.
Valid driver's license and record that meets company requirements.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night work as required.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must be availability for out-of-town work.
Must carry a cell phone and be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Must have willingness to learn and accept feedback.
Must have mindset of continuous improvement.
Must be self-directed and very committed to customer satisfaction.
Must be able to operate all types of tests equipment.

Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies

Manage revenue, gross margin, and absorption to achieve monthly and annual business plan projections and forecasts
Drive expansion of chargeable opportunities, including T&M, system upgrades, and service contracts, ensure quality assurance activities are completed, such as sales-to-service and projects-to-service turnover including final project walkthroughs, service agreement scope reviews, and final information turnover to inspection team
Support contract profitability through cost containment procedures and processes and ensure contract requirements are met and performed to a high standard
Develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring effective and timely communications and determine technical labor loading and appropriate balance of talent to ensure proper resource coverage to meet customer needs
Champion safety compliance by ensuring employees meet or exceed organization and customer safety requirements, ensure employees are properly trained on safety requirements and enforce adherence to organizational processes, tools, and workflow standards

2+ years of experience in at least one of these:

Role Description
Development and support of Distributors, Electrical Contractor opportunities with additional focus on achieving projects through area Construction Channel.

Building long term relationships with senior management at key customer accounts, solution partners and channel.

This role will play a significant role in the continued growth of EA Business Unit by working to train and grow various engineering teams external or remote to the core US organization that are still working within the EA ANSI engineering hub. Analyze MV switchgear requirements from customers to develop detail design engineering essential for review and manufacture of switchgears.
Prepare electrical drawing packages (including panel arrangements, nameplate schedule, schematic diagrams, communication drawings, three-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings and wiring diagrams) for factory manufacturing of the switchgear and customer documentation using CAD software.
