Fire Alarm Systems Service Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems. You will ensure that components are inspected, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer. Why is this so important? As aFire Alarm Systems Service Technician, you will:

  • Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements

  • Swiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality

  • Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material

  • Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards

  • Work alongside mentors, Lead Technicians, and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skill; proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 poundsunassisted

  • Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 18 months

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred

  • 3+ years' experience installing commercial fire alarm equipment

  • Ability to read/understand design and construction documents

The role.

  • Proactively identify tax planning opportunities.

  • Act as sole advisor and governance owner with regards to sales and use tax, property tax, and payroll taxes processes managed by other departments.

  • Preparation and review of monthly and annual income tax provisions and Provision to Return analysis.

  • Proactively seek to streamline compliance process, and to create efficiencies through automation.

  • Learn the organization's business and contribute to problem resolution when issues are identified.

Your profile.

  • BS/BA in Accounting required. Master's degree in Tax or Accounting preferred.

  • MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in preparing/reviewing consolidated US federal and state corporate income tax returns required which includes 4+ years of proven experience in public accounting.

  • Extensive technical and practical knowledge of corporate accounting for income taxes required.

  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all commitments.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent digital literacy with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat required, with experience in SAP, analytical tools like Alteryx, and dashboard tools such as Power BI being an additional plus.

Electrical Service Specialists are responsible for the I&C on our power distribution equipment at our Hyper-Scale Data Center sites. Scope includes, but not limited to, setting communication devices and topology industrial networks, uploading HMI/ PLC programs, installation of I/O and CPUs, integration of 3 rd Party EPMS, initial testing, operation, troubleshooting and modification of customer equipment and systems including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, metering, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relays.

This position entails an initial four-month training period that will necessitate weekly travel.

As an Electrical Service Specialist, you will:

  • Lead basic to complex installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Tasks are associated with maintenance and testing of switchgear/switchboard, motor controls, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformers, and surge protection devices. Responsible for vibration analysis and metering, battery maintenance and testing, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance.

  • Set communication devices and topology industrial networks; upload HMI/ PLC programs; install I/O and CPUs

  • Perform integration of 3rd Party EPMS; initial testing, operation, troubleshooting and modification of customer equipment and systems

  • Test MV or LV Circuit breakers; metal clad/vacuum switchgear; breakers or LV equipment and analyze test results

  • Conduct Equipment Condition Assessments

  • Troubleshoot and repair Electrical Control Circuits

  • Organize and maintain job documentation

  • Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training. Act as technical resource to customers and field employees

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Train customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and train lower-level employees. Complete and submit reports covering all job activity. Responsible for maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Plan and estimate labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, and transportation expenses to complete complex proposals. Perform review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics; provide continual guidance throughout the project duration.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification

  • 8 or more years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards

  • 8 or more years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures

  • Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and testing and configuring protective relays

  • Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems

  • Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens GIS, AIS, WL, RL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Our Customer Service business seeks to hire a Demand Planner to ensure parts availability for locomotive maintenance activities across our business segments. The ideal candidate will have SAP ERP Material Planning Module experience with 3+ year of Material Planning experience. You will collaborate with various partners to develop and implement streamlined materials planning strategies and ensure execution. You will be a vital member of the Supply Chain Management team supporting Maintenance Contracts and Spares, reporting on and analyzing data accurately. Due to the nature of our organization, we can permit a remote work arrangement.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Material Managers, and Engineering to identify unreleased, obsolete, or updated parts. Evaluate the impact on maintenance schedules and develop mitigation plans.

  • Apply your knowledge of the ERP MRP system (Planning module) to enter forecasted demand, manage planning and oversee the entire process.

  • Develop a streamlined, low-risk materials planning strategy for assigned business segments. Monitor end-to-end processes to ensure plan execution and secure material availability while improving inventory turnover.

  • Collaborate with engineering, MRP controllers, order management, material managers, and strategic procurement to address gaps and material shortages.

  • Track relevant metrics and generate reports, charts, and presentations to monitor end-to-end performance and promote transparency.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and achieve continuous improvement.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree.Business, Commercial, Manufacturing, or Engineering Degree preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a combination of education and Siemens relevant experience will be considered,

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in SCM/Materials Planning,

  • Proficient in SAP ERP Material Planning Module,

  • Expertise in data analysis & interpretation as well as attention to detail & accuracy (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, etc.) or reporting automation initiatives,

  • Experience in an engineer-to-order manufacturing environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines,

  • Strongly demonstrated written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Setting you apart would be expertise in SAP ERP implementation or customization projects and/or a super user with experience optimizing the efficiency of the interface between ERP MRP and CMMS.If you have strong technical knowledge and understanding of procurement, inventory control, and process control and are results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines this could be the role for you.

Fire/Life Safety Systems & Service Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings. You will participate in the service, maintenance, installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of state-of-the-art fire alarm and sprinkler equipment, including fire safety, mass notification, detectors, and field peripherals. As a Fire/Life Safety Systems & Service Technician, you will:

  • Assist with the commissioning of new fire and life safety systems on construction ensuring seamless integration

  • Assist with testing and inspecting of existing fire and life safety systems

  • Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader

  • Complete commissioning within planned timelines

  • Submit accurate time and expense logs

  • Work overtime when needed

  • Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements

  • Swiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality

  • Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material

  • Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards

  • Work alongside mentors, Lead Technicians, and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skill; proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management

  • Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment,working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; differentiate types/colors of wire, carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsunassisted

  • Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 18 months

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred

  • 6+ months experience installing commercial Fire/Life Safety equipment

As an HVAC Service Journeyman: Chiller Mechanic or HVAC Journeyman Mechanic, you will:

  • Perform maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and rebuilds of medium-large tonnage chillers and various other HVAC equipment in commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.

  • Execute contract maintenance visits, fulfill service requests to extend the equipment life cycle and may assist in inspections or assessments.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication.

  • Collaborate with the field quoting team to provide necessary parts information, equipment data, and labor hours for accurate repair quotations.

  • Serve as a direct customer contact, responsible for repairing equipment and systems at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.

  • Utilize cutting-edge software, technology, hand-tools, and rigging equipment to repair equipment following blueprints or engineering specifications.

  • Enforce Safety to the highest standards, recording Safety Audits, and ensuring compliance with the Siemens Safety Program.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Apply your knowledge of the ERP MRP system (Planning module) to enter forecasted demand, manage planning and oversee the entire process.

  • Develop a streamlined, low-risk materials planning strategy for assigned business segments. Monitor end-to-end processes to ensure plan execution and secure material availability while improving inventory turnover.

  • Collaborate with engineering, MRP controllers, order management, material managers, and strategic procurement to address gaps and material shortages.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations. Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions

  • Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules performing service and deficiency repairs on all fire sprinkler system types as needed. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed and complete service ticket documentation and inspection reports before leaving customer site. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to required city municipality websites

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections; assist with training

  • Provide subject matter expertise to peers

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

BasicQualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire/Life Safety Systems

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and understand design and construction documents

  • On-the-job experience estimating impairment, deficiencies, and service repairs

  • Must have or obtain NICET Level II Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems or state certification within 12 months

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted, and must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet

  • Must be 18 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations

- Author/Update/Consult on procedures, part reports, and simplified drawings using NX and Teamcenter as related to structural, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

- Assist with development of best practices and mentor users on best practices.

- Assist with development of solution documentation such as functional requirements and specifications.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Software, etc.), Computer Science or other science and technology program, or equivalent years of relevant experience (5+ years) in design, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, data management

Position Overview:

This Mechanical Engineer for Rail Products will be an integral part of driving the successful introduction and ongoing production for rail gearbox and motor manufacturing within Siemens Mobility Traction Drives in our Alpharetta, GA facility. This role will work collaboratively across Traction Rail both within the U.S. and globally to drive localization projects for international designs, provide gearbox / motor engineering expertise, and optimize manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, with hands-on motor and gearbox experience, and a successful track record of supporting product development from the development phase through to manufacturing. The Product Engineer will perform independent quality control checks and assess the design for manufacturability of rail gearbox /motor products to ensure compatibility with the US supply base and local capabilities. Candidates must possess the experience, knowledge and discernment to perform these functions with limited local guidance. This position will act as an interface between the engineering headquarters in Germany and the local operational team.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Within this role, the Mechanical Product Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all local aspects of gearbox / motor production and engineering. Specific activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive production application engineering including: bills of material, assembly methods, special tooling requirements

  • Assist in supplier selection, supplier validation and support of supplier qualification on a technical level

  • Lead local engineering change management through Teamcenter and SAP

  • Support and develop gearbox / motor test applications

  • Provide technical expertise for Quality regarding potential failure modes and effects analysis, change management, and similar topics.

  • Drive continuous improvement via technical improvements, cost reduction, and lean process implementation

  • Support organization in gearbox / motor technical discussions

  • Work closely with engineering headquarters in Germany to ensure successful designs for US market

  • Perform technical project manager duties for a variety of gearbox / motor projects as required

The role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a Strategy and Business Development environment. Support the Strategy Sales & BD team with data extraction, sorting, summarizing, and presenting analytics on market data, customers, and opportunities.

  • Performs desktop research on engaged markets, verticals, and customers.

  • Gain a well-rounded view of Innomotics and its diversified businesses.

  • Collaborates with other business units and functions to complete assigned tasks.

  • Prepares/reviews/analyzes the Oil and Gas opportunity funnel.

  • Prepares, evaluates, and manages information for decision-making.

  • Supports with conducting internal/external workshops and arranging logistics for assigned tasks.

Your profile.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Working experience in the data analytics in Industries & markets.

  • Currently enrolled in college with a major in engineering, Business Administration, Strategy, or Marketing.

  • Understand and assess Industry Market Trends e.g. in areas of Net Zero, Sustainability and Energy transition.

  • Master Data Analysis, data transparency and Visualization of available data sets.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Power BI.

  • Ability to read and understand complex market data.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Leverage education, skills, and strengths to assist teams.

The pay range for this position is $31,600-$58,600. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
