SIEMENS Smart Infrastructure is seeking a confident, self-motivated, and technical Senior Sales Executive to grow our MAC (Move/Add/Change) Fire Service business in the Denver, CO area in vertical markets such as Healthcare, Corporate Real Estate, Data Centers, K-12, Universities, Federal, and State facilities. Using your technical and financial expertise, along with your critical thinking and negotiation skills, you will help tailor our customer's needs into winning solutions, for the direct end-user service market.

As a MAC Sprinkler Service Senior Sales Executive , you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on fire and life safety market business and product trends

  • Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop -go to market- strategies to drive business to the standard construction channel and the end user customer

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently

  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

  • Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

  • Attend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as NFPA, NFSA, ASHE, NBFAA, AFAA, AGC, ABC, NEMA, NECA, etc. to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market

  • Work jointly with the multiple levels of the customer's organization to understand and document their business goals and success metrics

  • Perform customer site surveys to support the development of multi-offering estimates and proposals across a broad fire and life safety portfolio

  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale

  • Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business

  • Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends

  • Travel overnight up to 10% for training and business development

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety, or similar commercial building/construction industries

  • Senior Sales Executive = 3 + Years

  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification

  • Senior Sales Executive = NICET Level I or II Fire Alarm Certification or must complete certification testing within 2 years.

  • Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, suppression, nurse call, area of rescue, smoke control, digital antenna systems, etc.

  • Familiarity with building and fire alarm codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.)

  • Experience managing tier construction and end-user accounts and performing fire alarm and/or sprinkler design services

  • Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service product lines effectively and independently

  • Account development and strategic sales skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.

  • Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skillswith proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year certificate from an accredited technical school or bachelor's degree in engineering; a combination of education and experience will also be considered

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM

Electrical Service Specialists perform complex startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage electrical power systems. These power systems include, but are not limited to transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear/switchboard, protective relays, motor control centers, VFDs, cable, and metering and backup power supplies.

As an Electrical Service Specialist, you will:

  • Lead basic to complex installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Tasks are associated with maintenance and testing of switchgear/switchboard, motor controls, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformers, and surge protection devices. Responsible for vibration analysis and metering, battery maintenance and testing, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance.

  • Install wiring and connect to the power source. Perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution products and third-party equipment. Perform complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc. for low-voltage power distribution products and systems.

  • Perform onsite technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature. Perform complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Train customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and train lower-level employees. Complete and submit reports covering all job activity. Responsible for maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Plan and estimate labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, and transportation expenses to complete complex proposals. Perform review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics; provide continual guidance throughout the project duration.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • 8 or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification

  • 8 or more years of experience with electrical testing, including but not limited to primary current injection testing, resistance testing, dielectric testing, and thermal scans on medium and low-voltage electrical systems

  • 8 or more years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures

  • Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and testing and configuring protective relays

  • Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems

  • Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens GIS, AIS, WL, RL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products (SI EP) is looking for a dynamic, results oriented finance professional to join our finance team as Senior Director, Head of Segment Finance for our Apparatus business segment. The Apparatus is the largest segment of SI EP and is a U.S. manufacturer of power distribution systems with volume more than $1B annually.

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to take the business into the next phase of growth and profitability by working closely with the Apparatus Segment Head. The Apparatus segment includes the full value chain of four manufacturing sites in the US, R&D, product management, order management, pricing, and sales. The Head of Segment Finance is responsible for directing all financial duties including accounting and controlling activities, commercial execution, supporting sales and business development activities. This position manages a growing team of 11 employees who are considered trusted partners within the business.

In this role, the incumbent will report to the Vice President of Finance for SI Electrical Products for North America and the role will be based out of Peachtree Corners, GA.

Electrical Service Specialists perform complex startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage electrical power systems. These power systems include, but are not limited to transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear/switchboard, protective relays, motor control centers, VFDs, cable, and metering and backup power supplies.

As an Electrical Service Specialist, you will:

  • Lead basic to complex installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Tasks are associated with maintenance and testing of switchgear/switchboard, motor controls, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformers, and surge protection devices. Responsible for vibration analysis and metering, battery maintenance and testing, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance.

  • Install wiring and connect to the power source. Perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution products and third-party equipment. Perform complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc. for low-voltage power distribution products and systems.

  • Perform onsite technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature. Perform complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Train customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and train lower-level employees. Complete and submit reports covering all job activity. Responsible for maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Plan and estimate labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, and transportation expenses to complete complex proposals. Perform review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics; provide continual guidance throughout the project duration.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • 8 or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification

  • 8 or more years of experience with electrical testing, including but not limited to primary current injection testing, resistance testing, dielectric testing, and thermal scans on medium and low-voltage electrical systems

  • 8 or more years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures

  • Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and testing and configuring protective relays

  • Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems

  • Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens GIS, AIS, WL, RL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

The Alarm Monitoring Supervisor manages a group of up to ten operators who answer fire, burglary, video, and other alarms, as well as emergency phones. The group interacts directly with customers and fire & police departments across the nation. The Supervisor also performs other duties assigned by the CMS Manager or Customer Service Center (CSC) Director.

This is a 3 rd shift (10 PM to 6 AM) position at the Siemens Central Monitoring Station (CMS).

As the Alarm Monitoring Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead a team of operators that responds to fire and security alarms at commercial customer sites across the nation.

  • Ensure team members are logged in and working at station at the start of their shift and ensure there is adequate staffing on the succeeding shift.

  • Set the example for team members regarding all Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook and ensure shift members are adhering to Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook.

  • Provide employee performance feedback to management and work with manager and Human Resources to address any staff disciplinary situations.

  • Monitor performance of all workstations, applications and phone systems and report any discrepancies with the same immediately to the IT department.

  • Handle any employee or customer issues that get escalated and notify the management team of any unresolved issues that may need additional oversight.

Customer Services is the service arm for Siemens Mobility rolling stock products including Light Rail Vehicles, and Locomotives and Coaches, covering customer needs throughout North America.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Electrification Automation (EA) Business Unit headquartered in Wendell, NC. This position will be based in Salt Lake City, UT.

The EA Business Unit has a diverse portfolio of products including photovoltaic inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation.

  • Specifically looking for candidate(s) experienced with power distribution system equipment - low and medium (480V-38kV)

  • Responsibilities include installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of LV and MV equipment. Responsibilities may also include troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and consulting.

  • Flexibility on location possible depending on travel amount.

  • This is a hands-on field, travel type position. The travel - up to 80% - could be national depending on site locations.

  • This position may be called on to support Greenfield & Brownfield unit installations and commissioning activities throughout Siemens/ USA.

  • This position may be hired at a lower level than posted if the candidate's experience warrants.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School or GED minimum.

  • 4+ years of directly related equipment experience.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with power distribution systems.

  • Experience with low and medium voltage Switchgear.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with breakers or high voltage equipment testing, including analyzing test results and equipment condition assessment.

  • Experience in troubleshooting & repair of electrical control circuits.

  • Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments.

  • Must be familiar with OSHA (Operation & Support Hazard Analysis) safety practices and perform duties within specified guidelines to ensure safety of self and supporting crew

  • This position must be based remotely within the Salt Lake City, Utah area to support the geography of EA's business partners.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.

  • Individuals must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing and be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

We are looking for a Electrical Assembler- 2nd shift (3:00p - 11:30p). This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform sub assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship

  • Strong team player

  • Work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors

  • Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques

  • Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience performing mechanical assembly (build) of product

  • 1+ years' experience with commercial or industry wiring

  • Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision

  • Experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure.

  • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

  • Communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently)
