Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is growing and adding to our Customer Service Procurement Team in the US. We are seeking to fill a Project Procurement Manager to be based in any one of our Siemens Mobility locations in the US as this will be a hybrid role reporting onsite.

The Project Procurement Manager will lead all procurement required planning, execution, control, and closeout activities for assigned projects.

You will lead and run one or more complex projects to deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time, and cost parameters to satisfy the specified project requirements. You will support the overall business case, targeted margins, and cash flow objectives.

The Project Procurement Manager will lead the Procurement efforts for large critical infrastructure Projects, working on innovative solutions. You will collaborate with colleagues in sales, engineering, operations, finance, & management, both locally & globally.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Integrate Procurement in the project management process (PM@Siemens) and organize, control, and monitor all Procurement activities in a project.

  • Review and monitor the sales pipeline. Meet with cross-functional partners and participate in project/sales meetings to provide procurement market information to optimize supplier selection and as a project core team member to exert a shaping influence at an early stage.

  • Analyze customer inquiries during bid preparation / opportunity management phases and exactly understands the customer's functional needs to include (supplier) innovations.

  • Establish material budgets and monitor costs through project execution phase.

  • Clearly define the supply chain. Create and maintain project procurement plans, assure superior supply chain execution throughout the entire project, document, communicate, and execute the supply chain strategy to cross-functional project teams.

  • Understand the scope of supply and customer contract agreements, perform risk analysis and prepare for negotiations with suppliers and identify supply chain risks and monitor the supply chain during project execution to avoid potential issues/risks.

  • Coordinate with various commodity managers both locally and globally for supplier negotiations to assure optimization of project spend.

  • Analyze project scope of supply, contractual obligations, and end customer's functional needs. Identify procurement risks, opportunities, potential changes, claims and market forces during the entire project, together with Commodity Management, to avoid potential damage and to exploit savings potential.

  • Ensure that mitigation of procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply and potential claims (towards customers and suppliers) are covered in valid contracts with suppliers. Ensure that required customer contractual obligations are fulfilled by supplier and covered in a way that mitigates Siemens' risk exposure.

  • Clarify internal indicators for project controlling and compile all relevant information to submit qualified reports. Proactively ensure resources availability, status, transparency and alerting of deviations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant Business-related degree,

  • 15+ years of Supply Chain & Project experience,

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate with both internal and external partners,

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite,

  • Experience in project scheduling,

  • Demonstrated broad supply chain knowledge,

  • Demonstrated solid communication and listening skills,

The base salary range for this position CA and DE is $141,500-$191,500, in FL, NC, PA, GA, and KY is $128,700-$174,200 and in MA and NY is $154,400-$209,000 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base. Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility Customer Services is in search of a Project Manager to work within its vehicle contract services product line. Customer Services is the service arm for Siemens Mobility rolling stock products including Light Rail Vehicles, and Locomotives and Coaches, covering customer needs throughout North America.

As a project manager, you will expand and improve the current service vision for these products and develop an ongoing strategy of service improvement, product sales growth, contract execution, and contract management. You will analyze market and competitive conditions to strike a clear path toward the business value of partnering with Siemens and move the offering to the next level of growth and success. One will work with various groups within the Siemens organization and collaborate with customers to meet the needs and expectations of their contract projects

Contract quantities, sizes, and duration will vary with the vehicle contracts and the successful candidate will be one who can stay on task and timeline, while handling and multi-tasking the needs of several contract projects at the same time.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage the products, solutions, and/or services assigned with full responsibility for the results, including definition of customer and market requirements, growth & profit strategies, business planning, road mapping, resource planning, and execution.

  • Understand contract obligations at both the bid and the project execution phases. Know customer needs through contract analysis, research, and market data.

  • Comfortable with negotiation practices and techniques, as well as managing project contract obligations in alignment with customer service and business goals.

  • Constantly observe the market including internal and external factors as well as relevant competitors' product(s), solution(s) and/or service(s) to adjust product strategies and paths forward.

  • Establish, develop, and manage or synchronize a relevant cross functional team necessary to support the business goals of the product and services.

  • Incorporate market feedback including customer insights for continuous improvement of the service program(s).

  • Create, develop, and refine relevant performance metrics based on contracted service obligations.

  • Contribute to activities to continuously improve the vehicle contract services product and execution.

  • Create long and short-term order and sales forecasts and analysis for management.

  • Determine product pricing based on market research, production costs and anticipated demand.

  • Develop execution plans for contract products and services, negotiate solutions with customers, and work on bid development teams.

  • Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external customers.

  • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2 years of job related experience will be considered,

Siemens Grand Prairie is looking for a fulltime data analysis and visualization expert to help improve strategic and operational performance and increase business process transparency. Basic Qualifications:

As an Electrical Services Specialist, you will:

  • Assist in basic to complex installation and commissioning of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Tasks are associated with maintenance and testing of switchgear/switchboard, motor controls, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformers, power meters, and surge protection devices.

  • Install and troubleshoot wiring and switchgear components using factory as built drawings. Perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution products and third-party equipment. Assist in performing complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc. for low-voltage power distribution products and systems.

  • Perform onsite technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature.

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Maintain new and existing customer relationships by open communication and assistance with solutions to issues that arise. Utilizing our sales, factory, and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for maintaining PPE, complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Operate in critical power environments, i.e., data centers, hospitals, etc. As well as in construction environments in all types of climates and conditions.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments, some being after regular work hours, holidays, and possibly out of state.

  • Interact with multiple computer programs for time keeping, report building, testing software, meter web pages, etc.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification; 2+ years preferred.

  • Experience with electrical testing, including but not limited to primary current injection testing, resistance testing, dielectric testing, and thermal scans on medium and low voltage electrical systems; 2+ years preferred.

  • Experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, insulation resistance, contact resistance, and other power system test practices and procedures; 2+ years preferred.

  • AVO, NETA, and NICET certifications preferred.

  • Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and setting breakers based on the study.

  • Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems

  • Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of up to 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens WL, RL, VL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.

  • Be available to travel, including out of state based on customer needs.

As a Solutions Specialist, you will:

  • Commissions new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines. Documents commissioning details; communicates deficiencies and progress. Plans work with Lead Technician, and Team Leader.

This is a 3 rd shift (10 PM to 6 AM) position at the Siemens Central Monitoring Station (CMS).

As the Alarm Monitoring Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead a team of operators that responds to fire and security alarms at commercial customer sites across the nation.

  • Ensure team members are logged in and working at station at the start of their shift and ensure there is adequate staffing on the succeeding shift.

  • Set the example for team members regarding all Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook and ensure shift members are adhering to Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook.

  • Provide employee performance feedback to management and work with manager and Human Resources to address any staff disciplinary situations.

  • Monitor performance of all workstations, applications and phone systems and report any discrepancies with the same immediately to the IT department.

  • Handle any employee or customer issues that get escalated and notify the management team of any unresolved issues that may need additional oversight.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • 5 or more years of Customer Service or Customer-facing Experience

  • Experience in a central monitoring station or 911 call center

  • Assist in basic to complex installation and commissioning of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification; 2+ years preferred.

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.

  • Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop -go to market- strategies to drive business to the standard construction channel and the end user customer

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently

  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

  • Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

  • Account development and strategic sales skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

As the Alarm Monitoring Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead a team of operators that responds to fire and security alarms at commercial customer sites across the nation.

  • Ensure team members are logged in and working at station at the start of their shift and ensure there is adequate staffing on the succeeding shift.

  • Set the example for team members regarding all Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook and ensure shift members are adhering to Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook.

  • Provide employee performance feedback to management and work with manager and Human Resources to address any staff disciplinary situations.

  • Monitor performance of all workstations, applications and phone systems and report any discrepancies with the same immediately to the IT department.

  • Handle any employee or customer issues that get escalated and notify the management team of any unresolved issues that may need additional oversight.

As an Electrical Services Specialist, you will:

  • Assist in basic to complex installation and commissioning of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Tasks are associated with maintenance and testing of switchgear/switchboard, motor controls, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformers, power meters, and surge protection devices.

  • Install and troubleshoot wiring and switchgear components using factory as built drawings. Perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution products and third-party equipment. Assist in performing complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc. for low-voltage power distribution products and systems.

  • Perform onsite technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature.

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Maintain new and existing customer relationships by open communication and assistance with solutions to issues that arise. Utilizing our sales, factory, and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for maintaining PPE, complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Operate in critical power environments, i.e., data centers, hospitals, etc. As well as in construction environments in all types of climates and conditions.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments, some being after regular work hours, holidays, and possibly out of state.

  • Interact with multiple computer programs for time keeping, report building, testing software, meter web pages, etc.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification; 2+ years preferred.

  • Experience with electrical testing, including but not limited to primary current injection testing, resistance testing, dielectric testing, and thermal scans on medium and low voltage electrical systems; 2+ years preferred.

  • Experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, insulation resistance, contact resistance, and other power system test practices and procedures; 2+ years preferred.

  • AVO, NETA, and NICET certifications preferred.

  • Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and setting breakers based on the study.

  • Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems

  • Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of up to 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens WL, RL, VL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.

  • Be available to travel, including out of state based on customer needs.

  • Open to work holidays, nights, weekends depending on customer needs.

Using your technical and financial expertise, along with your critical thinking and negotiation skills, you will help tailor our customer's needs into winning solutions, for the direct end-user service market.

As a MAC Sprinkler Service Senior Sales Executive , you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on fire and life safety market business and product trends

  • Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop -go to market- strategies to drive business to the standard construction channel and the end user customer

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently

  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

  • Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

  • Attend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as NFPA, NFSA, ASHE, NBFAA, AFAA, AGC, ABC, NEMA, NECA, etc. to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market

  • Work jointly with the multiple levels of the customer's organization to understand and document their business goals and success metrics

  • Perform customer site surveys to support the development of multi-offering estimates and proposals across a broad fire and life safety portfolio

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety, or similar commercial building/construction industries

  • Senior Sales Executive = 3 + Years

  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification

  • Senior Sales Executive = NICET Level I or II Fire Alarm Certification or must complete certification testing within 2 years.

  • Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, suppression, nurse call, area of rescue, smoke control, digital antenna systems, etc.

  • Familiarity with building and fire alarm codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.)

  • Experience managing tier construction and end-user accounts and performing fire alarm and/or sprinkler design services

  • Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service product lines effectively and independently

  • Account development and strategic sales skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.
