Come join the team that provides this service to United States. Serco-NA, in conjunction with the newly formed United States Space Force (USSF) are responsible for tracking all man-made objects in orbit.

As theGEODSS & Alternate JWICS Information System Security Officer (ISSO)at Socorro, New Mexico, Serco-NA, in conjunction with the newly formed United States Space Force (USSF) you will be responsible for tracking all man-made objects in orbit and responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ground-based Electro Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS) System.

This mission is vital to keeping existing satellites safe and to provide critical information to organizations launching new satellites in the future. One of the assets USSF uses to accomplish this mission is the GEODSS System.You will help operate and maintain three (3), one-meter telescopes equipped with highly sensitive digital cameras. You'll respond to Government tasking to obtain metric observations of specific objects daily and help maintain the sensors, support equipment, and the facility that houses it at Detachment 1, 21 st Operations Group (21OG), Stallion Range Center, Socorro, New Mexico.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Security Clearance.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform computer security assessments and implement required countermeasures, implement and maintain a site mission system, and network Cybersecurity program.

  • Execute cybersecurity responsibilities protecting and defending information systems by ensuring the availability, integrity, confidentiality, authentication, and non-repudiation of data through the application of cybersecurity measures.

  • Protect ISs and their operating system, peripherals (media and devices), applications, and the information it contains against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or modification.

  • Ensure all users and ISSOs receive COMPUSEC training.

  • Provide information to update system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.

  • Review TEMPEST packages and provide documentation for TEMPEST package updates.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role:

  • Must have an active or able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI Security clearance.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another related field is required,or equilvalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.

  • Must have 5 - 7 years of working experience in Information Security career field.

  • The ability to comply with the vaccination requirements as a condition of employment. Potential candidates for employment will be notified of the requirements of this policy prior to the start of employment.

  • Must have or the ability to obtain a ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) [current/active].

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, RedHat Linux, and Tru64 UNIX Operating System.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to excel in a fast-paced program office environment and demonstrate attention to detail.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • DoD 8570 Compliant Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or Level III requirements (Security+ CE minimum).

Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion.   • Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

  • Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.

  • Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.

  • Issuing air traffic clearances.

  • Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

  • Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.

  • Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

  • Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.

  • Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

  • Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.

  • Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Interacting with other AFLCMC/WII team members to identify issues

  • Recommending alternatives for responding to identified issues, and producing draft documentation for timely, fully-staffed products or solutions

  • Providing advisory and draft documentation support in planning, developing, and staffing products such as mid-level briefings, correspondence, reports, databases, websites and other products

  • Reviewing specific or general AFLCMC/WII processes and procedures.

  • Providing recommended process improvements for government consideration

  • Reviewing Acquisition Category (ACAT) reporting requirements, as well as the location, collation, or generation of the data required for government review / population in the required reports

  • Reviewing, monitoring, and providing advisory support in the effort to document cost, schedule, and performance of assigned Contractor activities

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must possess the following:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR

  • Master's degree and twelve (12) years of directly related experience

  • Twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's and 15 years

In this role, you will:

  • Listen to Service Members, analyze their expressed needs, suggest solutions, and action plans.

  • Provide job search guidance and career advice; assure the transitioning service member (TSM) understands and can access available resources.

  • Assist with job matching of vacancy postings, with TSM's skills and work requirements.

  • Provide labor market information, identify companies and industries in specific areas, capture skills and experience required in certain areas, and offer advice on how to apply for jobs.

  • Possess extensive knowledge of the current labor market information.

All of the responsibilities listed below are considered essential functions of this position. PHOP workers provide behavioral health screenings, referral service support and outreach to Reservists, and their family members as well as consultation to Home Training Center (HTC) and Naval Operational Support Center (NOSC) leaders. This position is a hybrid serving both USNR and USMFR.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.

  • Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.

  • Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.

  • Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.

  • Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.

  • Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.

  • Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.

  • This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role:

  • Must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) and a ble to obtain a Secret security clearance.

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health or clinical degree and 2 years of professional experience is required.

  • Must be independently licensed at the highest level in any U.S. State with one of the following:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor

  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

  • Must obtain and maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers OR the American Red Cross' CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.

  • Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of light to heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.

You will be part of a team tasked with design and development of new software as well as integration and modification of existing software to system components. You will be responsible for performing characterization and performance tuning of various software stacks throughout the system including managing the software and system test development, performance, and benchmarking for each HPC node type throughout the System of Systems. Additional tasking includes design and development of new software as well as integration and modification of existing software to system components. In this role, you will:

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

  • Debug existing software and correct defects.

  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.

  • Write or review software and system documentation.

  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories

  • Have experience using languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, Perl, JavaScript, etc.

  • Have experience with agile development processes.

  • Have experience with source code control systems, such as Git.

  • Have experience using collaboration and software development tools (ie. Atlassian).

  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components.

  • Have experience with software development using continuous integration practices.

  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areas.

  • Perform Unix shell scripting.

  • Have experience developing software for HPC systems using parallel development languages/paradigms such as SHMEM, MPI, UPC, Chapel, or P-Threads.

  • Have experience developing software targeted to take advantage of a specific architecture's unique features, whether those features are in the processor, memory, network, storage, or other area of an HPC system.

  • Modify existing software to adapt to new hardware or to improve its performance.

  • Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design decisions.

  • Develop assemblers, compilers, simulators, drivers, board support packages, health & status monitoring packages, and other low-level software.

  • Develop event driven, or data driven analytics.

  • Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.

  • Develop or modify software to optimally map algorithms to a particular hardware architecture.

  • Have experience with container technologies, such as Docker.

  • Recommend and implement suggestions for improving documentation and software development process standards.

  • Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project.

  • Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.

  • Coordinate software installation on a system and monitor performance to ensure operational specifications are met.

  • Demonstrate experience improving software performance through analysis and optimization of software algorithms or by devising a novel software approach to take advantage of new or unique hardware features.

  • Recommend new technologies, techniques, and processes for complex software projects.

  • Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams.

  • Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.

  • Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as an HSE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • OR A Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as an HSE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

In this role, you willpossess the following capabilities:

  • Visionary and strategic; you will be closely working with government technical directors to drive network innovation and efficiencies throughout a project

  • Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical, and process views. Define network strategy with respect to technology domain standards and design goals. Develop and maintain network roadmaps, which include product selection, versions, upgrades, projects and milestones;

  • Conduct research focused on identifying emerging technology solutions that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, provide more capabilities, reduce risks, and increase security;

  • Lead efforts for network technology evaluations, which involves identifying a weighted feature matrix for a specific need and evaluating and scoring products against the desired features;

  • Research activities include readings, proof-of-concept (POCs), and lab testing. Communicate leading practices by giving presentations, working with program/project teams, and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies, and otherwise defined leading practices;

  • Work individually and collaboratively with team members to ensure breadth and granularity of strategies, standards, and reference architectures for consistency and integration qualifications;

  • Confidence and professionalism with the ability to present both technical and business concepts to professionals of any level. Eight years of experience in Network Architecture, Design and Engineering, managing and supporting large scale projects and network automation, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment;

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing network reference architecture, from business/mission requirements gathering to technology rollout oversight, including capacity management, definition of scoring methodologies for technology selection, integration of multiple tools and technical documentation;

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on interior and exterior dynamic routing protocols and how vendor and open source routing daemons implement standards;

  • Ability to program with one or more -scripting- languages including Python, Ruby, TCL, Perl, PHP, YAML;

  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools, Salt, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible;

  • Experience with Network Function Virtualization;

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority;

  • Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) Network Disaggregation technologies and methodologies along with open source solutions;

  • Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work;

In this role, you will:

  • Draft pre-solicitation documents that reflect the Government's requirements while adhering to all applicable customer policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree with a business or technical focus is required.

  • In lieu of a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years may be substituted OR

  • In lieu of certification, an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted.

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience writing pre-solicitation documents in compliance with customer Policy 8-2, including annexes, or another DoD Agency's similarly guiding acquisition policy.

  • Experience in DoD source selection.

  • Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288 to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.

  • Will be expected to contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering plans, Initial Capability documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

You will be part of a team tasked with design and development of new software as well as integration and modification of existing software to system components. You will be responsible for performing characterization and performance tuning of various software stacks throughout the system including managing the software and system test development, performance, and benchmarking for each HPC node type throughout the System of Systems. Additional tasking includes design and development of new software as well as integration and modification of existing software to system components. In this role, you will:

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

  • Debug existing software and correct defects.

  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.

  • Write or review software and system documentation.

  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories

  • Have experience using languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, Perl, JavaScript, etc.

  • Have experience with agile development processes.

  • Have experience with source code control systems, such as Git.

  • Have experience using collaboration and software development tools (ie. Atlassian).

  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components.

  • Have experience with software development using continuous integration practices.

  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areas.

  • Perform Unix shell scripting.

  • Have experience developing software for HPC systems using parallel development languages/paradigms such as SHMEM, MPI, UPC, Chapel, or P-Threads.

  • Have experience developing software targeted to take advantage of a specific architecture's unique features, whether those features are in the processor, memory, network, storage, or other area of an HPC system.

  • Modify existing software to adapt to new hardware or to improve its performance.

  • Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design decisions.

  • Develop assemblers, compilers, simulators, drivers, board support packages, health & status monitoring packages, and other low-level software.

  • Develop event driven, or data driven analytics.

Qualifications

  • Draft acquisition and program documents such as TTOs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Program Management Plans (PMPs), Risk Management Plans, program schedules, Technical CICA memorandums, and Acquisition Strategies.

  • Prepare presentations to report analysis findings as well as program/portfolio status.

Qualifications
