We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead a team in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts (Detailed P&Ls for all cost centers); support the planning and analysis of working capital (Capital Expenditures, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow); analyze variances & business trends; and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary.

• Support all Americas profit centers with recurring duties:

• Build, review and validate the Americas rolling sales forecast

• Forecast and review actuals for all sales and margin items and direct operating expenses

• Maintain forecasting models to support the budget vs actuals review and provide rolling forecasts to support business decisions

• Lead in the preparation and presentation of all business review schedules to the management team including commentary for MD&A

• Additional supporting tasks include (but not limited to):

• Provide return on investment analysis for capital expenditure requests

• Partner with the retail operations team to develop and challenge new store proposals

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or closely related field. Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial planning & analysis, or related finance field.

• Experience with financial forecasting (revenue, full P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

• Knowledge of accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting principles and practices.

• Planful (a.k.a. Host Analytics), HFM or other EPM experience required.

• Full Circle ERP experience a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with cross functional finance, accounting, sales and sales operations teams to build and manage Sales Operating Expense budget process and files to support the following: Sales Executives, Sales Managers, Retail Merchandising, Sales Promotions, Sales Operations and Visual Merchandising for US, Canada and Latin America - Liberated Brands

• Host monthly budget actualization meetings with Sales Executives and Sales Management

• Provide FP&A teams with monthly accruals and expense allocation

• Implement a detailed Project Management process to ensure all key deliverables in Sales and Merchandising Calendars are met, identify key stakeholders and detail process to project completion for multiple brands.

• Compile Monthly sales reporting for Sales Executive team, including Monthly Business Review Decks and others as needed.

• Sample Coordination

• Drive Sample Process for wholesale channel by working closely with Merchandising and Sales Operations Team to project, and receive seasonal samples efficiently

• Apparel, Swim, Footwear, Accessories and Outerwear

• Assist with Catalog Shoot Line and Showroom Line Coordination

• Receive, and Oversee Prep of Showroom Samples

• Manage Sample storage area including seasonal sample shifts, movement of goods to warehouse

• Manage shipping and receiving samples to and from Key Accounts and Reps for photo shoot and line showing needs

• North America, Latin America Sales Reps

• Support Independent sales reps with seasonal needs, assets, samples and sell in programs

• Compile and update sales rep information for shipping, commissions

• Special Projects as needed:

• Liaison between departments and/or partners for projects as needed

• Key Event Planning, Sales Ambassador Gifting

• Manage Technology and Hardgoods for digital sales tools: iPads, Elastic Suite Uploads

• Plan and organize in person and virtual sales meetings, web calls and trade shows

• Hotel and Venue Negotiation and Liaison

• Meals and Entertainment Management

• Provide timely departmental correspondence for any general / key issues

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred

• 3+ years of experience supporting executive level management

• Prior sales experience a plus

• Mathematical Skills

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

• Individual should have the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

• Prior accounting experience is a plus

• Computer Skills

Job Description

We are looking for a Snow M&D Product Developer to join our Volcom Team in Costa Mesa, CA!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Maintain the development and quality of assigned styles by serving as the liaison between the Snow M&D team and Supplier.

• Responsible for managing all aspects of the product development calendar, execution of product, and on-time delivery of assigned styles

• Monitor and maintain development communication with Suppliers

• Create and maintain style Bill of Materials within the company's PLM system

• Monitor fabric, print, and color development approvals of assigned styles

• Assist with maintaining the sample production cycle to secure on time sample delivery

• Responsible for base round of costing negotiations by providing targets to, and gathering costs from, product vendor

• Ensure that all product is accurately ready for seasonal integration into the company ERP system

• Work closely with compliance team to ensure assigned styles meet all quality and sustainability standards

• Collaborate with production and warranty teams to monitor and correct any quality issues with assigned styles

• Provide styling, fit and construction comments during development (in conjunction with Design & Fit tech team)

• Stay in tune with internal rules & regulations that accompany the production of our product

• Assist with yearly trade show and sales meeting prep

• Travel required for seasonal development with vendors (international and domestic)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• At least 2 years' experience in apparel product development; snow apparel preferred.

• Understand design and construction methods of apparel and/or accessory products

• Highly motivated team player with initiative

• Word, Excel. Required knowledge at intermediate level

• Illustrator 10, CS, CS2. Preferred knowledge at intermediate level

• Full Circle and/or PLM. Experience preferred but not required

We are looking for a Jr. Accountant to join our Liberated team at our Costa Mesa Office! The Jr. Accountant ensures the accuracy of accounting information by recording, analyzing, and verifying transactions. The Jr. Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will work cross functionally with all members of the Accounting and Finance team. This position will also partner closely with other business partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Oversees the accounting of the company's wholesale, retail, and outlet divisions:

• Participate in the Month, Quarter and Year-end close process

• Ensure proper adherence to the company's internal controls procedures

• Assist in the reconciliation of e-commerce sales activity compared to credit card and other deposits

• Prepare profitability analysis on e-commerce marketplaces and payment platforms

• Assist in the completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including explaining & reclassifying variances

• Work with A/P, A/R and Treasury personnel to ensure process control and accurate recording of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis

• Assist in the preparation/review of General Ledger journal entries

• Run shipping reports to prepare, calculate and communicate Sales Rep Commission liabilities

• Maintain schedules for tracking capital expenditures and updating the SAGE fixed asset system

• Assist in process improvements, including documenting processes and procedures and identifying and developing internal controls

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
