The Opportunity

The Decision Science Analyst Lead of Product and Revenue Forecasting will conduct deep-dive analytical research into production trends to support the understanding, management, and strategy of P&C growth, and provide decision support for business areas across the enterprise. Responsible for applying mathematical and statistical techniques and/or innovative/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to answer business objectives and drive change. The essence of work performed by the Decision Science Analyst involves gathering, manipulating, and synthesizing data (e.g., attributes, transactions, behaviors, etc.), models and other relevant information to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in implementable strategies. The Decision Science Analyst Lead will work directly with stakeholders to understand business objectives, measure key performance indicators, and evaluate performance; identifies emerging themes, internal and external trends to improve performance and minimize risk.
What you'll do:
Leverages expert business, analytical and technical knowledge to lead discussions with cross functional teams to understand and collaborate highly sophisticated business objectives and influence solution strategies.
Applies advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems that are typically large scale with significant impact to current and/or future business strategy.
Prioritizes and oversees the development of requirements/resources vital to meet established objectives.
Applies innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make recommendations to answer the business objective and drive the appropriate change.
Translates recommendation into communication materials to effectively present to all levels of management.
Incorporates visualization techniques to support the relevant points of the analysis and ease the understanding for less technical audiences.
Identifies and gathers the relevant and quality data sources required to fully answer and address the problem for the recommended strategy through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Integrates/transforms disparate data sources and settles appropriate data hygiene techniques to apply.
Thoroughly documents assumptions, methodology, validation and testing to facilitate peer reviews and compliance requirements.
Monitors, understands, and adopts emerging technology that can affect the application of scientific methodologies and/or quantitative analytical approaches to problem resolutions.
Succinctly delivers complex analysis/findings in a manner that conveys understanding, influences senior executives, garners support for recommendations, drives business decisions, and influences business strategy.
Provides subject matter expertise in operationalizing recommendations.
Researches and pursues the latest and/or industry leading practices in data and analytics, (Ex: Cloud, Data Mining, Python, Neural Networks, Sensor data, IoT, Streaming/NRT data) to advance the overall DSA community knowledge.
Sees opportunities to continue to learn in the data and analytics space, whether informal (E.g., Coursera, Udemy, Kaggle, Code Up, etc) or formal (E.g. Certifications or advanced coursework).
Innovates to create new and emerging data sets, and incorporation (data wrangling, data munging) into new insights.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science or other quantitative discipline is required; OR 4 years of related statistics, mathematics or quantitative analytics or related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of data & analytics experience; OR 6 years of data & analytics experience and up to 2 years of progressive functional business relevant experience within the respective industry of responsibility (i.e. P&C, Bank, Finance, Marketing etc.) for a total of 8 years combined experience; OR advanced degree in quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science or other quantitative discipline and 6 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the respective industry of responsibility (i.e. P&C, Bank, Finance, Marketing, etc.).
3 years of direct and/or indirect management experience.
Demonstrates expert skills in mathematical and statistical techniques and approaches used to drive fact-based decision-making.
Expert knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect external insights to business problems.

4 years of P&C experience and a deep understanding of P&C insurance products.
Proven experience in independently conducting product analysis & gaining an in depth understanding of market dynamics.
Strong interpersonal and relationship leadership skills with an emphasis on customer focus, collaboration and partnering to obtain results.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Risk Manager Lead-Omnichannel Compliance to join our team. In this role, you will provide second-line independent oversight and mentorship on business products, services, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with key partners, you will drive a culture of compliance, demonstrating integrity and professional judgment in safeguarding the interests of USAA and its members.
This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.

What you'll do:
Oversees the Privacy compliance oversight function for the bank. This includes working with first-line business partners to provide mentorship on privacy regulation applicability and credible challenge.
Works closely with first line to provide Privacy risk oversight and feedback on regulatory compliance matters, first line RCSAs, and business processes.
Serves as a technical expert and provides mentorship to the first line specifically for Privacy matters.
Conducts transactional testing/monitoring on processes and controls related to Privacy within the bank.
Anticipates and identifies future needs, opportunities, and potential compliance solutions, and leads cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process.
Assesses results of data analyses, provides credible challenge, and recommends innovative compliance solutions.
Develops, designs, and delivers compliance strategies to influence business leadership on effective solutions and may represent leadership on complex issues.
Maintains and expands experienced knowledge of the driven/regulatory landscape and the company's key challenges.
May coordinate and respond to regulatory requirements and requests and ensures the execution of examinations.
Performs compliance risk management activities in accordance with enterprise compliance standards.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree, OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree (12 years total experience).
8 or more years proven experience in Privacy compliance, risk, legal or audit within the financial services or insurance industry.
Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment.
SME level knowledge of Regulation P, GLBA, CAN-SPAM, State and TCPA, industry regulations and regulatory compliance in a specific area.
Advanced knowledge of other compliance laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations, including CRA, ECOA, FCRA, MLA, SCRA, Regulation DD, Regulation E, Regulation O, ADA, Regulation Z, and UDAAP.
Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of regulatory compliance to consult and provide insight and mentorship.
Proven track record to communicate effectively at all levels of management.
Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
General understanding of federal supervisory guidance, including but not limited to letters, bulletins, manuals, handbooks, proposals, and statements from the Federal Reserve, OCC, and CFPB.

The Opportunity
A Bank Exam Management Analyst is responsible for preparing and coordinating the activities related to Internal Audits and Second Line of Defense (SLoD) Assessments and Tests. This role involves collaborating closely with internal departments and Engagement Owner (i.e. Audit, ECORT, IRM) to ensure compliance with financial regulations and to facilitate smooth examination processes. The Opportunity
A Bank Exam Management Analyst is responsible for preparing and coordinating the activities related to Internal Audits and Second Line of Defense (SLoD) Assessments and Tests. This role involves collaborating closely with internal departments and Engagement Owner (i.e. Audit, ECORT, IRM) to ensure compliance with financial regulations and to facilitate smooth examination processes. The BRCA Senior will coordinate meetings, request documentation and response, provide effective challenge, and ensure that all aspects of the engagement are met in a timely manner.
