Within the Consumer Lending technology organization, a new agile organization is being created with the primary focus of ensuring consistency exists across all delivery teams - whether that be in the areas where mature agile practices already exist, or in areas we have yet to invest much energy in transforming our traditional waterfall practices. This organization will ensure we demonstrate cross-team alignment, bi-directional communications, and successful delivery of features & program increments. It will focus on improving relentlessly, reducing interruptions to accelerate value, providing coaching and ensuring consistency across delivery. This position will serve as this new organization's fearless leader and will inherit the existing RTEs and Scrum Masters across the Consumer Lending technology portfolio. In addition to serving in an RTE capacity, this leader will also be responsible for defining the new organization structure and operating model, and identifying synergies and improvement opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record who operates at a high level of detail and precision, and is capable of influencing senior-level stakeholders. They will have an ability to establish credibility with, as well as motivate and mentor, junior teammates on their team. And lastly, they will have a style that is results-oriented, collaborative, and energetic.

Job Description

The Release Train Engineer is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train. Facilitate and enable end-to-end value through Agile Release Trains following guidelines and ensuring Agile processes are being observed. Responsible for communicating with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment, manage risks, remove/escalate impediments, manage cross-train dependencies and escalate enterprise dependencies. Understands lean/Agile best practices and is expected to act as an Agile coach on the Agile Release Train.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Scrum and/or Kanban teams in PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other Agile Ceremonies of low to moderate complexity.

  • Responsible for delivering results of projects in terms of predictability of delivery, productivity improvement, schedule and delivery of commitments, and quality.

  • Responsible for ensuring data maintained in Agile Tools is consistent across ARTs to support enterprise-wide requirements.

  • Responsible for relevant budgeting and oversight of capital and non-capital expenditure within their ART.

  • Responsible for ensuring Truist Agile SDLC, Agile Operating Framework and Risk Framework are appropriately followed.

  • Active participant with the Truist Agile Guild and Agile RTE Communities of Practice.

  • Coordinate with other Release Train Engineers for cross ART dependencies and Road Map Reviews.

  • Work with Scrum or Kanban masters in a consultant model, helping the teams embrace an agile mindset, leverage Agile and its ceremonies, roles, and artifacts to reach greater success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree in a related field of study or equivalent education and related training or experience

  • Minimum of eight years Program Management experience and/or eight years of experience as a Scrum Master, including experience with PI Planning and Execution SAFe RTE Certification

  • Strong communication and organizational change management experience

  • Experience in delivery function at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies

Software Engineer leads the implementation, configuration, and enterprise adoption of Workfront platform, managing technology, workflows, and requirements, as well as supporting process improvements to meet the operational needs of the organization. [Role] is responsible for building, maintaining, and updating the Workfront configuration and preferences, including setup, portfolio, program, and group management, reporting oversight, custom forms, automation, user management and license allocation. 1. Configure Workfront platform to meet business requirements, driving user adoption and providing work management transparency through accurate and effective reports and dashboards.

Responsible for design, developing, and maintaining automated unit testing, and supporting integration and functional testing.
