WSP is initiating a search for a On-Call Senior UXO Supervisor for various munitions response actions and range clearance activities. This person will report out of our San Diego, CA office.
Your Impact
- Ensure compliance with a DoD Military Service- and/or Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB)-approved site plans.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site munitions response and operational range clearance activities.
- Supervise multiple UXO teams.
- Review field reports (e.g., daily reports)
- Evaluate the risk of movement of UXO or DMM within an MRS or operational range with the UXOSO, and provide approval for movement by UXOT when the risk of movement is determined to be acceptable.
- Ensure all protective works and equipment used within the exclusion zone are operated in compliance with applicable DoD policy, DDESB approvals, and Federal, state, and local health and safety statutes, regulations and codes.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Meet the criteria for and perform the functions of a UXO-TIII, UXOQCS, and UXOSO as defined in DoD Explosive Safety Board Technical Paper 18.
- 10 years EOD/UXO experience and significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operation
- Five years of experience in supervisory positions
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training and current annual refresher
- 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training
- Experience in managing an Explosive Safety Program; recognition of munitions and MEC, particularly UXO; and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Compensation
Expected Salary: $38.85-$60/hr

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Processing Representative II for our Costa Mesa, CA office.
JOB SUMMARY
The Processing Representative II (PR II) is responsible for assisting customer with special and /or challenging issues by performing detailed-oriented account research and case resolution. Assist customers in resolving complaints concerning billing or service rendered. The PR II also provides support in posting payments, processing returned mail, responding to inbound mail and pre-collections back up when needed. Processing Representative II may be reassigned on a long term or temporary basis to other shifts or other schedules to balance manpower or meet the needs of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Include some or all of the following. Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.
Promote positive customer relations with customers and coworkers
Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of customer service center and operations to assist customers and resolve problems
Assist in processing returned mail
Assist in processing inbound mail which includes payment posting, account updates and account inquiries
Assist customers and violators in resolving open case inquiries in a timely manner
Assist customers and violators in resolving complaints concerning billing or service rendered in a timely manner
Assist customers and violators with special and/or challenging issues by performing detail-oriented account research and correspondence by mail/fax/e-mail in a professional and exceptional manner
Compile documentation for administrative hearing reviews
Assist with pre-collections services when required
Assist with customer service calls and overflow call handling when required
Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with a variety of people across various levels both within and outside the organization.
Make positive suggestions on improving and streamlining workflow processes and enhancing profitability
Develop a strong teamwork ethic
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

Our Transportation Team is seeking a Full-Time Traffic Engineering Intern to work out of our Austin, TX office. This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program.
This internship will be part of the WSP Summer Internship Program. As a summer intern, you have the opportunity to participate in our 12-week program scheduled to start on May 19th, 2025. The individual start date of the internship may be flexible.
Your Impact
Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
Learn basic principles of Traffic Engineering.
Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Actively enrolled in a Traffic Engineering, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
Must be 18 or older.
Demonstrated interest in Traffic Engineering, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, Masters or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.

Your Impact
Design
Manages the planning, permitting, development, and implementation of environmental projects to ensure that development projects comply with environmental laws and regulations with minimal supervision.
Develop planning studies and documents related to environmental planning, including National Environmental Policy Act, National Historic Preservation Act documentation and/or other environmental planning documentation, figures and maps.
Authors technical reports with clarity and minimal grammatical or spelling errors.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Master of Business Administration or Bachelor's degree in Finance with a background in environmental, science, or engineering is preferred
3-5 years of demonstrated post-education experience of relevant skills with a degree
Basic knowledge of project management principles
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, manage conflicting priorities, and work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
