Your Impact
Responsibilities:
Oversight of Finance, Cost and Change Management and Document monitoring and controls
Create budgeting forecasts to support Program and Project activities
Review, monitor and control contractor and consultant budgets and expenditure

Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS Business, Finance, or Accounting
Project Management experience, PMP preferred
10+ years' experience in Financial Controls, Finance, or Accounting including experience leading a team of professionals
Transit and rail industry experience preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Experienced with document control processes and systems.
Confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
Attention to detail and organization while working in a fast-paced environment

You Impact
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals.
Oversight of Finance, Schedule, and Document monitoring and controls
Create schedules to support Program and Project activities.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline desired, but not required with applicable experience
Project Management, schedule or cost management training or certification through Project Management Institute (PMI) or American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE) or other relevant industry organizations.
Experience in transportation and transit industry.
12 years' experience in Financial Controls, Finance, or Accounting, and Scheduling including experience leading a team of professionals.

Give effective presentations to customers.

Assure that all work on assigned projects is timely, accurate and high quality.
Organize, plan, and coordinate own work as well as the resources assigned on a specific project.
Perform troubleshooting at operating mine, oil and gas plants, and other heavy industrial plants.
Pump and piping system calculations.
Pipe stress analysis.
Launder sizing.
Material handling equipment sizing (including conveyors, bins, silos).
Dust collection system sizing
Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system sizing
Preparation of equipment performance specifications.
Equipment and valve schedules/lists, line and tie-point lists.
Develop technical reports.
Oversee and check work of other junior and mid-level mechanical engineers and designers.
Will travel for meetings and site visits and accept remote assignments, as required. Approximately 10% - 15% travel.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and stamp is required in at least one state in USA with ability to acquire licenses in other states.
10+ years of related engineering experience in an EPCM or similar company is required for this position.
Knowledge and understanding of how the mechanical and piping engineering activities integrate into a complete project.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
Ability to work with administrative supervision and effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
Understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of the organization's projects and proposals.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and specialized software packages used for mechanical and piping engineering and design.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes such as, but not limited to, ASME, CEMA and API.
Preference will be given to candidate with experience in Mineral / Mining and and/or Oil and Gas projects.
Project Management experience or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in an engineering consulting environment is a plus.
Must pass background check.
Desired Qualifications
MS Degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from ABET accredited program.
An up to date NCEES record.
Design-Build project execution experience.
Experience with metal/mineral mining, oil and gas, industrial water treatment, and municipal facilities projects.
AutoCAD, Revit, or other design program competence.

The Project Controller will be involved in selected stages of a project's life cycle (i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and/or Closure) for consulting services related to earth and environment projects including site characterization and remediation, environmental permitting and compliance, water/wastewater treatment, and mining. Most components of this role will relate to engineering and/or environmental consulting scopes. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and forums to gather input and feedback from the community.
Policy and Advocacy:
Advocate for policy changes and infrastructure improvements that support Vision Zero objectives.
Stay informed about best practices, new technologies, and legislative developments related to traffic safety.
Work with elected officials and policymakers to advance Vision Zero initiatives.
Program Evaluation and Improvement:
Monitor and evaluate the impact of Vision Zero programs and initiatives.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on evaluation findings.
Ensure continuous improvement through regular assessments and updates to program strategies.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage budgets for Vision Zero projects and initiatives.
Allocate resources effectively and ensure cost-efficiency in program implementation.
Seek and apply for grants and funding opportunities to support Vision Zero activities.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
15+ years of relevant post education experience in Transportation Planning, Traffic Safety, or Program Management, with a focus on Vision Zero or related safety initiatives.
Equivalent Licensure in related field of industry.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent project management abilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of traffic safety principles, urban planning, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GIS software, and other relevant tools.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Expected Salary (all locations): $149,000.00 - $300,000
