We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Equipment Operators to join the team at Pembroke Park TS in Pembroke Park, FL . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus , but willing to train the right candidate.

Th e p osition is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position is $21-$23/hr DOE.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed
Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor
Spreading daily cover using aDozer
Excavating soil using an Excavator
Hauling soil

Experience driving forklift,dozer, or articulated dump truck preferred
Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility

Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Must provide own personal tools.
Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Outside of typical accounting dutiesAssistant Controllers at Waste Connections are involved in Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and more. Working with the other departments might include riding along with drivers and our sales team, or getting familiar with our billing system by sitting with a Customer Service Representative. As an Assistant Controller at Waste Connections, your success is dependent on your ability to understand the many facets of the business to be able to provide the necessary support of being a true business partner to the District Managers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Relocation for advancement or promotional opportunities
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets, audits and system implantations.
Support operations personnel with daily, weekly and monthly metric calculations

Description -
We are looking for a safety conscious Loader to join the Penn Waste team in Manchester, PA .
The Loader position is responsible for helping the driver of a garbage truck on specified routes to manually collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.
Typical job duties include (but are not limited to):
Ride on garbage truck to assist the Driver service customers - will load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal.
Directing the truck driver when backing
Assisting with vehicle maintenance
Operate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading arm
Clean the packer blade and truck body
Deliver positive customer service interactions
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
This is a very physical job working outside in all weather conditions.
Monday-Friday day shift, with mandatory Saturdays following a holiday.

Waste Connections, Inc. has immediate openings for a high energy Diesel Mechanic to join the team at our Hauling location in Pinellas Hauling Clearwater, FL . Previous waste experience would be a huge plus !
This will be a Monday - Friday position working 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM and every other Saturday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair containers in the yard. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred or the ability to obtain in the future
Minimum 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Must provide own personal tools. Welding/fabrication experience a huge plus !
Computer experience a Plus!
