Contact with both internal and external customers where improper handling will have a marked effect on operating results. Ability to work with other Service Support Team Members.

Will provide 24 hour a day, 7 day a week support to field offices to include logging calls to Branches and paging on call technicians during non-business hours.

Shift Schedule: Schedules include a variety of day, evening and weekend hours. Remote capabilities are acceptable on an approved basis.

Willing to be flexible to provide necessary coverage for peak periods, vacations, holidays, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer calls from incoming customers and dispense call information to the appropriate Branch or Service Contractor

  • Utilize current system to properly log and page service calls

  • Distribute faxes and electronic calls as needed

  • Follow current procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the department while continually looking at process improvements and simplifications

  • Identify service offices and/or personnel where intervention may be needed to improve processes

  • Understand 3rd Party Companies being utilized by our key accounts in order to oversee proper procedures are being followed regarding service calls

  • Coordinate field notification, tracking and payment of SPIFF programs

  • Track Office Information Screen/SMS Scheduler updates, print, and follow-up as necessary

  • Train and assist in the development of new hires

  • Handle other projects as required

  • Accredited High School diploma or GED

  • 2 years in customer support and service experience required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, remain calm in stressful situations and adjust plans to meet changing needs

  • Flexible scheduling, work any combination of 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts including weekend shifts and holidays

  • Ability to see underlying concepts and patterns in complex situations in order to develop solutions that effectively address underlying problems/root causes

  • Recognize changing customer needs and determine process/procedure updates and/or requirements

  • Work with IT regarding customer needs when appropriate

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with others at all levels and demonstrate respect to people at all levels

  • Ability to handle internal and external customers politely and efficiently follows procedures to solve problems, understand company products and services, and maintain pleasant and professional image

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Associate's degree

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Access and Power Point

  • Bilingual

This position is responsible for supporting and sustaining existing products as well as to developing new service product offerings. This position will help to design and develop technological features to improve equipment reliability and to deliver consistent up time for our customers. The successful individual will work closely with the Product Support Team, Project Leaders and Product Managers to create and deliver tools, software, and processes to improve customer's equipment experience and quality.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or similar) required.

  • 0-2 years of experience with equipment design including the applications of electrical wiring, motors, pumps, sensors, switches, and other controls.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Experience providing engineering support to ensure products meet organization and industry standards.

  • 3D CAD design using Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

SUMMARY

The ITW Food Equipment Group is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Leader who will align with the core ITW Business Model and develop new customer focused initiatives and strategies to deliver innovative solutions to our customers' most challenging service reporting & service delivery needs. This leader will be well versed in assessing and balancing changing market dynamics, customer needs, and the organizations technology product mix and capabilities.

The leader will project manage the end-to-end program roll out with key stakeholders, and is expected to meet and exceed metrics.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Service Delivery leader will lead the development of customer facing service processes for the North America Hobart Service organization. The primary outcome of the role is to establish a dynamic, responsive, and sustainable approach to building, monitoring and improving Customer Facing Metrics (Key Performance Indicators) that align to the business goals of increasing organic growth, creating customers for life, and improving overall customer retention.

The Service Delivery Leader will have a long-term goal of developing professional and accessible customer me reporting processes including, KPI dashboards, Quarterly Business Review processes for regional and local customers, create value proposition-based customer communication templates, and will support the Hobart Service NPS strategy.

The Service Delivery leader will work with the field leadership team on customer facing process optimization and create customer lifecycle-based milestones, with a strategic focus on strategic customer onboarding. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with large scale business development rollouts, be self-motivated and have excellent data analysis, communication, collaboration, project management and influencing skills.

This position reports to the Hobart Service Vice President of Operations and will be located in the Dayton, Ohio area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct competitive and market segmentation assessments to understand market attractiveness and desired short- and long-term positioning strategies

  • Execute ITW's Customer Back Innovation process with deep VOC and market requirement events to understand customer pain points/needs and translate to real world process and product specifications

  • Support labor and travel price analysis and value assessments

  • Execute ITW's USa process to build out end-to-end current state and future state process and product maps

  • Develop and ensure processes adhere to ITW's existing CRM sales pipeline process and design metrics for sales growth success

  • Manage and execute large scale dashboards and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to meet project roll out milestones

  • Monitor Hobart Service Customer Facing Metrics, nationally, regionally, by customer and product type. Partner with key stakeholder to develop and implement improvement strategies.

  • Through understanding of field process, systems and analytics, develop & support execution of process improvements to drive Customer Facing Metric (KPI) improvement initiatives.

  • Optimize strategic customer communications across the customer lifecycle, including business reviews and strategic customer onboarding.

  • Establish and monitor business metrics for the full customer lifecycle with a focus on customer onboarding & retention.

  • Support Hobart Service NPS priorities & improvement strategies.

  • Research and benchmark other programs to develop innovative best in practice programs.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ year sales/sales support, marketing or customer facing service experience

  • Must have strong project management skills and have the ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders to advance key tasks to meet milestones

  • Must have strong financial/forecasting modeling skills along with competency of P&L statements

  • Must know how to assess market segmentation and competitive assessments

Desired Education/Experience - preferred, but not required

  • Master's degree in business administration

  • 2+ years of project management experience

  • Experience working within ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics/Field Service

  • 5+ years of Field Service-related experience

  • Visually inspect edges of wipers for seal quality according to product-specific work instructions and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Operate bag-sealing equipment.

  • Inspect and identify defects in the product

  • Inspect finished goods for shipment.

  • Weigh, document, and discard equipment scrap.

  • Notify machine operators to make adjustments to machines to correct variables producing defects or the quality product.

The Production Supervisor is a key leadership role in the plant and will be responsible for the training and enforcing of health, safety, quality, and work rules of all Production team members.

. Directs and manages operations Leads and all hourly employees on shift

. Promotes a proactive safety culture and environment and ensures compliance of safe work practices

.Communicates status of part completion with the Production Control, Customer Service, and Management team
