Position Summary:
The Production Scheduler/Planner is a member of the Plant Operations team that works in an administrative role to support the production process in numerous areas. In addition, this individual will interact heavily with Sales and Customer Care to ensure the needs of our customers are continuously met.
Function:
This position reports to the Baxter Operations Manager and is the main contact for the scheduling of all orders.
Responsibilities:
Schedule all customer orders, provide commitment dates to Customer Care based on capacity and customer.
Develop a strong relationship with the Customer Care team and learn each Key Accounts requirements in order to fulfill their needs.
Organize, plan and manage production schedules according to orders, demand, capacity and capacity restraints.
Develop production schedules that make the most efficient use of time and resources.
Develop one common template for all department's schedules to streamline the process.
Work with manufacturing supervisors to obtain feedback about production status.
Analyze and measure the current production status and identify problem areas that inhibit full schedule execution.
Provide feedback to Manager on schedule achieved versus planned.
Monitor production numbers and have several backup plans to accommodate unexpected customer demands or production issues.
Develop and manage production planning and tracking metrics to ensure on-time delivery.
Review safety stock and ensure all commitments to key customers are met.
Maintain Kanban/MRD program.
Manage packets for install, and operations and service manuals
Create serial numbers and device data plates, and other various labels for production

AA Degree or comparable work experience

Observes and assists experienced machinists in the performance of the job duties following this paragraph in order to learn and develop the skills required to perform all job duties.
Will be required to learn to operate machines required to for production.
Positions, aligns and bolts dies, blades, bedplates, cushion pins, and stops, using shims and measuring tools. May set up automatic or multipurpose machines.
Differentiates between various metal types and thickness to ensure correct type of metal is being used in the particular task assignment. Adjusts flow of lubricants, pressure and depth of stroke, or feed of material, applying knowledge of thickness and properties of metal or according to standard specifications. Determines special handling procedures or techniques needed for specific project.
Reviews end product of work performed for errors or deficiencies and takes steps required to correct such errors or deficiencies found.
Accurately and efficiently completes all forms and reports related to work performed in the fab shop.
Clears jams and corrects minor malfunction of machines. Reports need for machine repair to supervisor.
May be required to cross train and become proficient on operation of all machinery in the department.
Inspects products and processes while performing job duties to ensure all work done meets or exceeds standards of the company's quality program.
Works cooperatively and congenially with co-workers to achieve cohesive and productive work processes and work environment.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management or as the situation requires.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions regarding procedures required for the operation of the various machinery used in the shop.
- Ability to use a variety of small hand tools and power tools.

Position Summary:
The Machine/Equipment Operator II position is responsible for the safe operation, and preventative maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment in order to produce finished product in accordance with quality, productivity and safety specifications.
Job Duties:
Operate high speed packaging equipment.
Read and follow procedures, standards, and recipes to set proper programming for weighing and counting mechanisms within each machine.
Utilize scales, labelers, printers, tapers, dumpers, ladders, and electric pallet jacks.
Make all necessary machine adjustments to consistently produce finished goods within quality specifications at or above productivity targets while tracking downtime and machine issues.
Perform efficient set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups.
Coordinate/communicate troubleshooting efforts with team members, supervision, quality assurance, and maintenance.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required and directed.
Maintain appropriate levels of correct materials on the line at all times.
Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials, components, and finished goods.
Perform all quality checks and consistently uphold high quality standards.
Complete all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Understand all safety hazards and follow all safety rules and precautions.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Complete all required daily and weekly cleaning tasks as prescribed.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
1+ yrs. Experience of machine operation experience, required.
Willing to work assigned shift with some overtime including weekends
Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Must be able to troubleshoot machine issues.

The Service Manager will provide support to the District Manager and will be required to assume advanced responsibilities in support of the branch and its daily operations. The Press Operator is responsible for running each job to which they are assigned per the job specific instructions. These are in the operator Manual for each job. a. The Operator is responsible for knowing the changes that may affect the way he/she does his/her job. Operators can remain updated by communicating with the Operator who he/she relieves and by reading the Manufacturing Alerts which are posted on the Manufacturing Alert bulletin board and marked by unit.
The Press Operator is ultimately responsible for the quality of the parts that he/she produces. a. When the operator discovers a quality issue, he/she is responsible for checking the Quality Samples to decide on the quality of the part. b. If one of the following situations occurs, the press Operator will notify the Production Supervisor or an Auditor for assistance: i. A relevant sample is not available. ii. The existing condition exceeds the maximum allowable sample. iii. The Press Operator is unable to decide based on the available samples.

The shipping lead will ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times and will perform all job functions as needed in the Shipping Area.
Primary Responsibilities:
. Direct shipping team and assist in scheduling workflow to fulfill customer requirements that is completed in a timely manner within quality parameters.
. Work with Supervisor to manage and prioritize shipping assignments.
. Push Safety, Quality and Productivity goals among team.
. Assist in coordinating employee training to ensure shipping procedures are followed and meet all safety and quality requirements.
. Report problems or concerns related to safety, quality, material, and equipment to shipping Supervisor/Customer service team.
. Communicate to the Customer Service /Supervisor/Manufacturing team of critical can't finds and shortages that arise during shift.
. Facilitate regular team communication regarding work assignments, safety, procedures, etc.
. Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among peers.
. Identify and Support continues improvement efforts with Shipping Supervisor.
. Maintain a safe and clean department following all safety regulations.
. Active First Responder ( Safety reporting, PPE, Drive housekeeping initiatives, ensure daily checklist for forklifts are being completed, Fall Protection)
. Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by quality standards and customer requirements.
. Assist with trouble shooting issues that arises on nights'/resolves problems.
. Help/Lead inventory accuracy efforts ( First in First out, Part put away, Bin checks, Damage cartons, etc.)
. Will be main point of contact for expedites and urgent shipping matters that occur during off shift hours on his/her work schedule.
. Input maintenance work orders as needed.
. Shipping Lead is required to be trained and certified in operating all material handling equipment as needed in the warehouse.
. Order's supplies as needed.
. Send ASNs when needed.

About the opportunity:

Duties may include but are not limited to; print, event, social, digital, graphics development in the support of new product development, and end user and customer marketing campaigns. Assist the marketing team and other key stakeholders in the organization throughout the execution of product and application videos, social and email marketing campaigns, events, website content creation content management system maintenance, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Works both tactically and strategically with Marketing, Product Management, Sales and other key stakeholders in the organization to grow our end user demand and e-commerce presence for our '80 (primary) products.
In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, strategize and lead communication design execution for digital and print campaigns across all of our channels, including: our customer and Jobber networks, marketplace platforms (i.e. Amazon), websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, print advertising, video graphics, trade show design.
In coordination with Marketing Manager, develop and maintain A+ content, storefront and product support via point of purchase graphics and text content for our e-commerce platforms
Product branding: collateral, logo and packaging label design creation. This includes maintenance of ongoing regulatory and safety compliance of product labels.
Literature availability / access / stocking
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate and implement strategy to improve end-to-end customer experience across multiple customer touch points.
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Expertise across Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, and Premiere.
Solid understanding and experience using Microsoft 365 to collaborate and create content including: PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with WordPress content management system.
Experience with Constant Contact, HubSpot, or other email marketing and digital marketing platforms highly desirable.
Experience working with Macintosh systems.
Familiarity adapting to printer requirements across various projects (i.e. print collateral, packaging die lines, trade show graphics).
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital graphics and product branding.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Detail-oriented and patient demeanor to juggle competing priorities.
Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently in a fast paced, deadline heavy multi-task environment.
Experience with photography a plus.
General interest and/or knowledge in automotive/mechanical.
Education and Experience:
BS degree in Graphic Design and/or Marketing or related field required
2-3 years of working experience in graphic design required
Experience with digital marketing and print marketing

GTU is seeking Assembly Team Leader for its Libertyville, IL location, who will participate in and lead activities of a team of assembly line to meet targets for production schedules, housekeeping and quality. The Team Leader observes all the activities to ensure that these activities are conducted in a safe manner. The Team Leader is expected to act quickly to correct operating conditions outside of standard and report all situations that are out of control to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner.
Make daily scheduling adjustments to achieve weekly orders for tools produced by respective team.
Capture and react to timely line repairs/error data on the lines. Involve Supervisors for any trends that are occurring.
Monitor team actual to pace, actual to daily plan and daily attendance. Notify Supervisors of any issues.
Watch for levels of inventory for respective team tool production requirements Report to Production Supervisors of any gaps in supply.
Develop training schedules, conduct training to new hires, track progress and provide information to Production Supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Verify that all team members are using proper PPE and following all safety procedures. Lead teams exercises. Participate in safety incident investigations.
Takes action to ensure all the requirements for running a tool are achieved-paperwork, labels, proper parts, fixtures, etc.
Participate in related team and/or task group meetings to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality.
Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve their individual and work area contributions to achieve desired business results.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ year of related assembly experience

Gather data to recommend and implement improvements to the supply chain process by creating ways for the organization to be more efficient and cost-effective while working closely with employees throughout various segments within the business unit.
Maintains inventory location records, monitors inventory levels and investigates discrepancies.
Generates and verifies cycle counts and helps resolve the causes of errors.
Monitor material handling to ensure accurate and smooth flow of materials.

Create purchase requisitions, convert to purchase orders, and ensure suppliers confirm receipt of and acceptance of all POs.
Works closely with operations to ensure infrastructure is prepared for future growth.
Validates production lead times and availability to the Customer Service team.
Monitor and report key performance metrics, including backorders, inventories, shortages, and supplier performance.
Communicates and coordinates with logistics and procurement when inventory levels drop below production needs.
Ensures accuracy of SOPs and documentation that support job responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field desired, or equivalent of 5+ years' experience in supply chain planning.
2+ years of experience in Inventory Control, Production Planning, and/or Procurement.
3+ years working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office software.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of product and applications and the ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and other staff.
Microsoft Dynamics knowledge preferred.
