• Balance the workload between target inventory and other demands

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

. Compiles dimensions of stock, sequence of machining operations, and type and size of thread from charts and specifications

. Selects, installs, and adjusts threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanism, cams, gears and pulleys.

. Sets feed rails, parts bowl, and roller sorter to ensure quality parts.

. Adjusts speed control knobs to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock with machine action.

. Selects correct SEMS components (washers) and loads into machine.

. Complies with all safety regulations and TS161949 policies.

. Verifies dimensions of workpieces with specifications. Modifies and grinds thread roll dies as necessary.

. Maintains, oils, and cleans machines on a regular basis. Drains and cleans oil trays; dumps scrap and sweeps floors to maintain housekeeping standards.

. Recognize and inspect quality issues and troubleshoots process or quality issues with engineers to correct and document.

. Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

We are looking for self-driven Quality Technician interested in developing skills and experience in the quality field in the Automotive Industry.

The Quality Technician will facilitate responses to customer concerns and implement various quality assurance programs across the facility.

• Maintain the Material Review Board (MRB) area for the facility

• Review and track all internal quality concerns

• Facilitate in the root cause analysis and effective corrective actions for non-conformances found in MRB

• Work with a cross-functional team to determine appropriate corrective action and facilitate the completion of these actions

• Ensure timely response and closure of Internal Corrective Actions

• Assist the Facility's Quality Engineer with Quality related tasks including, but not limited to;

• Participate in the APQP process for new product development and launch

• Collect information from operations and production to maintain analytics

• Maintain site performance Quality metrics

• Maintain and update items within the Quality Management System and customer portals with required information, as applicable

• Participate in effectiveness events for corrective actions through verification audits and group discussions with relevant parties as required.

• Work to support Plant Level Initiatives as applicable.

• May receive calls from customers, or other departments regarding production, or application concerns.

• Perform Layered Process Audits (LPAs) based on the schedule.

• Help maintain and sustain the Gage Calibration Program, ensuring the integrity of the system and reporting any findings to the appropriate personnel.

• Develop and/or assist in Continuous Improvement opportunities related to the Layered Audit Process.

• Conduct product testing/inspection as required to applicable standards, policies and work instructions.

• Taking required action when testing/inspection does not conform to the requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma required; Technical School, or Associates Degree preferred

• Read and interpret Blueprints

• Knowledge on the usage of quality inspection hand tools (i.e. Micrometers, Calipers)

• Prior experience in quality-related, or automotive business preferred

• Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 & ISO 17025 preferred

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Continuous Improvement mindset

• Strong attention to detail, verbal, and written communication skills

Essential Functions

Perform work as apparent or assigned. This might include but is not limited to the following activities:

• Assemble products per specifications and prescribed procedures.

• Perform inspections, tests and audits on processes, products and components. Diagnose faults, conduct repairs, and utilize appropriate measuring, inspection and test equipment and procedures to assure consistency in parts produced.

• Insure that all parts meet specifications, finishes and special handling requirements utilizing appropriate documentation.

• Utilize proper storage, handling and disposal methods of all materials, including hazardous material when applicable.

• Assist in maintaining department supplies and consumables.

• Supports the department and continuous improvement concepts by suggesting changes and improvements.

• Keep department and machines clean and orderly, and maintain housekeeping requirements.

• Perform work in a safe manner by following safety rules and ensuring proper safety equipment is used.

• Maintain department records per established procedures.

• Seek and recommend ways to eliminate potential quality problems, to improve procedures and methods, and to increase productivity using the Quality Management System (policy, procedure, work instructions).

Based position under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor. The selected candidate will be able to perform a variety of duties with a focus on Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables functions and maintain various files as needed. The incumbent will be able to prepare and/or maintain Excel and Word documents for correspondence, forms, orders, etc. The individual must be able to display professionalism and use tact on the telephone when talking to customers and other employees. Individual must be cross trained in all office administration functions. The candidate will perform various other clerical functions as necessary.

Primary Objective:

To calibrate, maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair MTS equipment at a customer site. Learns and applies MTS technology and business practices in order to provide quality, on-site customer support.

Major Areas of Accountability:

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Vo-tech degree in a technical field or equivalent military training or 11 years relevant technical experience (2 years of which must be servicing MTS or similar equipment)

Position Summary:

• Package batches in accordance with all safety, quality, and efficiency standards by following SOPs, batch sheets, and verbal directions

• Safely and efficiently operate various workstations associated with the packaging of product

• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required

• Understands quality expectations relating to the packaging of our products, including fill weights, appearance of packages, and proper labeling

• Understands the Quality Control functions pertaining to mixed product, including viscosity and weight testing

• You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.

• You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.

• You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.

What you'll bring to the table:

• An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience

• Refrigeration Experience Preferred but not required

• You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily

• You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required

• You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
