This opportunity entails being responsible for troubleshooting and resolving intermediate application issues that are assigned to the team. Also responsible for monitoring application performance, application deployments, technical documentation, application installations and configuration. Primary focus, but not limited to, will be ITSM application administration.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides tier 2 support and maintenance of applications to meet daily operational needs. May act as escalation point if needed.

  • Configures and upgrades applications as directed to meet daily operational needs.

  • Implements and maintains customizations of applications to meet evolving business needs including reports, dashboards, and workflows.

  • Implements and maintains third-party software connections and applications to support various business needs.

  • Assists with debugging system integration and functionality issues including engagement with vendor support for defect resolution.

  • Documents and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage, etc.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of application functionality, customization, and integration.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or

  • In lieu of education, 6 years of relevant experience

What We Prefer:

  • 5 years IT Operations experience

  • ServiceNow Administration Experience (including Admin Foundations for ServiceNow)

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate

  • Interface/Integration work with third party applications

This opportunity entails contracting support for construction or professional service projects and contracts. Reviews contracts and other project-related documentation for compliance with client policy and requirements. Assesses risks/issues and advise leadership on necessary changes to mitigate risks or come into compliance with required contract language and provisions as well as suggested process or language improvements. Provides continuous contracting support from the preliminary stage through close out in a highly proactive and responsive manner, working independently to support the client. Interacts with Project Managers and other client personnel including incumbents from Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Legal.

What You'll Do:

  • Works with project managers and contracts personnel to ensure contract or bid documents are clear, complete and in compliance with requirements. Serves as the primary liaison to Project Managers and coordinates with other staff and resources as needed to resolve issues in bid, award, contracting and close out processes.

  • Administers ongoing contract needs with regard to contract changes and payments which may require expertise in the use of client databases, legacy computer systems and web-based project management software.

  • Works collaboratively with the client contracting staff, attorneys and Engineering staff to ensure that work loads are balanced and Project Managers receive the highest level of service and responsiveness possible. Responds to inquiries from Project Managers, consultants, contractors and other management as needed.

  • Supports proposal activity as necessary, especially regarding contract terms and provisions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High School/GED or equivalent

  • 3 years' administrative, contracts, payments and construction documentation experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management or relevant degree

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

This position will have the opportunity to shadow engineers and other technical staff and gain experience and insight into the fields of Civil Engineering and infrastructure solutions. This will be a part-time, temporary position lasting approximately three weeks at approximately 15-20 hours per week.

What You'll Do:

This opportunity entails being responsible for strategic and commercial input and direction on large, complex projects or programs, with a focus on innovative delivery (including P3 and progressive contracting methods). This position will be focused on public sector consulting, largely (though not exclusively) for transportation agencies in the US and will aim to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This position partners with senior Advisory team members to develop and promote subject matter expertise and best practices nationwide.

What You'll Do:

  • Applies commercial expertise and guidance on project structures, risk allocation, delivery options and contract terms for innovative delivery contracts. Coordinates commercial considerations across all disciplines within programs.

  • Develops and implements procurement documentation and strategies.

  • Engages with industry participants to define and optimize commercial structures and provisions.

  • Acts as subject matter expert to provide strategic advice and analysis, and engage in marketing and business development, as well as preparing reports and presentations to HNTB leadership and senior client personnel.

  • Manages tasks or major workstreams independently, and interfaces with senior Advisory and client leadership to ensure 4for4 delivery while managing client relationships and day to day interactions with appropriate counterparts. Responsible for successful contracting and project execution, working closely with regional HNTB staff and office leadership.

  • Prepares technical materials for client engagements, including strategic analyses, commercial documentation, technical provisions, procurement documents, and other materials pertaining to applicable subject matter focus.

  • Trains and instructs line personnel on innovative delivery and other Advisory disciplines. Advises on business planning and supports marketing efforts of the line organization.

  • Works with the line organization in a lead support role on strategically important client and project pursuits, providing strategic input and market knowledge to expand service offerings and enhance win probabilities.

  • Contributes to strategic planning for Advisory and assists with thought leadership initiatives.

  • Mentors and oversees the work of junior Advisory staff through performance management and encouragement of professional development opportunities.

  • Represents Advisory and the firm at industry events and organizations, and drives thought leadership and external positioning efforts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Master's degree in relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience.

  • PhD/JD in relevant field and 8 years of relevant experience

  • Possesses legal and commercial subject matter expertise

  • Has a legal background, including a JD (or the international equivalent); Masters / PhD not required for this role

Meets with client and technology staff to define and document system requirements. Develops system configuration specifications, conceptual and logical workflow and business process diagrams for system development or customization.

  • Creates and executes moderately complex system implementations according to established timeline, budget and quality expectations.

  • Leads projects of medium to large scope. Assists in the development of project scope, fees and proposals.

  • Serves as a technical resource in the application of one or more geospatial platform technologies, such as Esri, Bentley, Autodesk, and Certainty 3D. Provides user support and solves moderately complex technical problems with geospatial systems.
