The Role
Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
This position is part of the Newport News Shipbuilding Nuclear Reactor Servicing Engineering Products Group who provide services and support to all department teams. This role is expected to perform the duties of the Contracts Support and Contracts Management (CSCM) for the department as detailed in SSW E-1306.1. Within that role, this individual should have a working knowledge of the planning and scoping process for the Nuclear Propulsion Division and be able to provide historical spending and cost reporting to support labor resource planning development, budgeting, and progressing for the department. In addition to the CSCM role, this position is expected to provide ancillary support in the development of planning agendas including those supporting the Project Integration Team (PIT) detailed in Section 2.10.1 of the Manual for Control of Refueling. Reactor Servicing - Excellence at the Core.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience

The Role
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
The incumbent candidate will work to support the development of a network control system and will work well in a collaborative work environment. In this position, the candidate will perform research, be able to manage multiple projects, and develop technical correspondences.

This is an opportunity to get in at the beginning of a new design and have influence over what will become the Navy's premier attack submarine platform. The candidate will provide technical leadership to the engineering team supporting the development of steam turbines for the turbine generators and main propulsion unit. The candidate will be responsible for the entire component development process including concept design, specification and requirements development, evaluating and selecting suppliers, component production, test and validation, and all technical problem resolutions. The candidate will have a strong understanding of the integration of electrical and mechanical components into systems.
Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

The Role

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Logistician in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Fort Stewart, GA. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data to provide recommended actions to leadership.
- Implements and supervises activities to ensure the security, control, and accountability of sensitive inventory. Provides accurate recording and maintenance of supply statuses in ISTS, reporting of TDL, location, and device type, and sourcing alternate supply lines.
- Participates in strategic planning and technical support for the relocation and setup of TADSS, oversees international shipping coordination, and conducts site surveys.
- Responsibilities include the management of housekeeping, custodial services, and facility maintenance operations, procurement of telecommunications services, and key and access control, ensuring alignment with W-TRS contract compliance and coordination with government entities.

This is a collaborative effort, providing Development and Integration of Software and Advance Analytics in support of the UCSA platform including Operations and Maintenance. The Role
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. The Role
Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience and job knowledge. Supervises and trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed. The Role
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Exciting hands-on position providing Aircraft Carrier Engineering support to deck plate Trades in the construction, grooming and testing of weapons elevators. You will learn a complex system(s) including mechanical, electrical and hardware interfaces. Will work directly with trades and Navy on the deckplate.
Must Have
