Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Safety Specialist in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Ft. Irwin, CA.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The Safety Specialist assists in ensuring the integration of safety and health protocols into various project stages, contributing expertise on security measures, and maintaining alignment with regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development of the Project Staffing Plan with respect to safety roles and drafting safety-related sections of the QMP.

  • Helps set and maintain safety performance targets in the QMP, identifying and mitigating transition risks within the Transition-In Plan and ensuring the clear communication of safety information during both Transition-In and Transition-Out.

  • Reporting safety and health data for input into the ISTS and working to help the update and maintain safety documentation in the library, ensuring accessibility and relevance of safety related data and material.

Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements

Up to 14 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; Up to 12 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; Up to 9 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or 19 years relevant experience with High School or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Essential Job Responsibilities

Supervises the Subcontracts Analysts. Responsible for ensuring the tracking and reporting of contractor labor hours, including those from subcontractors, to facilitate accurate reporting. Establishes and implements effective systems and procedures, coordinate with subcontractors for precise data collection, and manage the submission of reports within prescribed deadlines. Plays a role in the preparation of the Monthly Status Report by supplying critical updates on procurement, evaluating subcontractor performance, and reporting financial standings. This role involves the generation and analysis of financial data, management of subcontractor personnel discrepancies, and development of solutions for subcontract-related challenges, ensuring comprehensive tracking of project shipments, procurements, and divestments. Crafts detailed financial reports integral to the MSR, capturing and presenting key financial metrics such as budgets, expenditures, funding durations, and financial trajectories, and designs visual representations for these reports to facilitate Government review, maintaining consistency in the report format for monthly delivery.

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Site Operations Lead in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Positions will be based at global Army training site at Hohenfels, Germany. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The Operations Lead is the primary point of contact for coordination of all operations, maintenance, and sustainment activities related to TADSS at their respective site. Their spearhead the creation of training materials by orchestrating the planning and coordination of customized training products. The role involves strategizing with stakeholders to discern and fulfill training necessities, while also assessing and ameliorating training efficacy.Maintains the cutting-edge relevance of training content, ensures that maintainers and operators are proficient with new TADSS equipment through meticulous management and occasional attendance of external trainings. Manages TES and MILES warehousing, enforce preventive maintenance, and uphold accounting of TADSS equipment. Guarantees the seamless functioning of MC training systems with TADSS and administers expertise in CTIA and LVC-IA systems configuration and usage, while steering the planning and conduction of MC training exercises inclusive of thorough After Action Reviews (AARs).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

  • Requires strong logistics and operations, maintenance and sustainment background

  • Experience managing large matrixed operations and maintenance organization spread across multiple locations

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a quality military veteran or IC Agency counterpart to join our team supporting our customer operations in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This position is for a ID / Risk Management Analyst supporting a complex program, for a Combatant Command (CCMD).

The team of analysts assist with enabling technical and tactical operations based upon their expert assessments of the operating environment and the adversary in conjunction with the common operational picture. The analyst serves as a catalyst for joint collaborative planning and assists all echelons to achieve operational dominance.

Serves as a Risk Management SME for a DoD program that is complex and in a developmental phase. As an ID / RM Analyst, incumbent will serve as the focal point for liaison activities with CCMD program staff, and other military organizations as assigned. Additionally, will use best practices and ingenuity to assess and recommend the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve problems. HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Comms and IT Specialist in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position will be based at global Army training site in Fort Stewart, GA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of IT and communication training materials and operational services, as well as evaluation and simulation exercises for TADSS.

  • Designs, documents, and facilitates instructional courses for equipment and software setup, installation, configuration, and maintenance for NET, ensuring up-to-date and effective training.

  • In support of TSC operations, the specialist will manage preventive maintenance schedules and accounting of TES and associated devices.

  • Additionally, the specialist will integrate and support MC systems such as CTIA and LVC-IA while coordinating the use of ISR capabilities and LVC-G tools to advance training objectives.

  • This role encompasses AAR, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting to maintain a high standard of readiness in support of mission objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Design, develop, test and maintain electronic communications systems for Army training ranges, including data networks, radio systems, microwave links, etc,

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for communications projects and systems,

  • Analyze communications requirements and develop system architectures and designs,

  • Ensure communications systems meet all functional, performance, and security requirements, Integrate new communications technologies into existing range infrastructure,

  • Provide tier 3 troubleshooting and support for communications issues,

  • Develop technical documentation like system designs, test plans, and maintenance procedures

The Role

Outside machinists are responsible for installing, grooming, testing, and repairing a ship's major mechanical components and systems and work can occur on commercial or naval ships in various stages of new construction, overhaul, or repair. Ship components that are part of this work can include anything from steam turbines, reduction gears, propellers, reactor components, catapults and weapons systems, periscopes to laundry, food service, or refrigeration equipment.

Outside machinists operate a wide variety of tools and machinery ranging from wrenches and screwdrivers to complex and sophisticated equipment such as saws, drill presses, optical equipment, mills, portable machines, boring equipment, precision grinders, and lathes.
