Sales Manager Description :

  • Lead retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals. Positively contribute to growth and development of team through training communication, recognition and support.

    Sales ManagerDuties: Sales Functions

  • Ensure commercial and retail selling programs and promotions are demonstrated, taught and executed.

  • Generate leads for commercial customers through in-store prospecting and telemarketing

  • Provide service and follow-up to commercial customers at acceptable service levels

  • Load, drive, and make deliveries, or arrange deliveries via third party delivery companies

  • Personnel Management

  • Develop and supervise Assistant Managers and Store Associates

  • Provide training, coaching, development and recognition

  • Perform timely evaluations and implement progressive discipline

    Sales ManagerQualifications

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods setting. Experience must include commercial (outside) sales

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics. Must have the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands

  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events. This includes the ability to work at multiple store locations, as needed.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly

Customer Service Device Repair Technician Duties:

  • Engage with Customers in logging device repair input

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.

  • Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

  • Manage and maintain assigned customers to keep aging at an acceptable level and to minimize bad debt.

  • Assists in identifying potential problem accounts and sends follow-up correspondence. May produce reports of accounts that are in arrears and analyses of bad debt, and prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs.

  • Research and resolve customer disputes as well as payment and billing discrepancies. Communicate escalation needs to Sr. Accounts Receivable Analyst per collection guidelines.

  • Review, prepare, analyze and report to the management team on required weekly and monthly reports.

  • Review and Process invoices and credits and other miscellaneous transactions.

  • Monitor and make decisions for release of credit and product holds within policy limits.

  • Provide credit reference information.

  • Cross-train and provide back up for various AR department tasks for all lines of business.

  • Assist with internal audit of monthly sales tax compliance.

  • Research, review and manage compliance of various state sales tax rules and regulations.

  • Ensure sales tax compliance for timely and accurate updates within systems to ensure proper charge and/or exemptions.

  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial and sales tax audit requirements.

  • Responsible for reconciling specific general ledger accounts and resolving variances.

  • May be required to work additional hours during peak periods.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of related accounting experience, including credit and collections

DUTIES

  • Operations Management

  • Demonstrate a "customer first" mentality

  • Assist Manager in leading store activities to achieve objectives of the Store's business plan

  • Assist in merchandising to approved plan-o-grams

  • Ensure shelf price labeling and full store objectives are met

  • Achieve inventory turn objectives; implement product changeovers

  • Maintain system inventory data integrity

  • Aid in teaching and executing selling programs

  • Prepare store for daily opening and closing; stock inventory; perform general housekeeping duties

  • Sales and Customer Service

  • Assist in achieving commercial sales initiatives; practice add-on selling and up selling

  • Operate computer to complete sales transactions

  • Installing batteries; perform tests, and tech work

  • Load, drive, and make deliveries

  • Supervisory Functions

  • Assist with training of store associates

  • Perform supervisory duties of store manager in the absence of store manager

  • Delegate tasks, validate completion and ensure policies and procedures are being followed

  • Function as a leader and team player doing whatever is necessary to help attain company goals

  • Positively contribute to growth and development of team through training communication, recognition and support

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent and at least one year retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
