Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Chicago, IL .
These positions are expected to begin May or June 2025 .
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Performs entry level work.
Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and must have completed at least three years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Corporate IT/Applications team. The Sr. IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing enterprise-wide technology projects of varying complexity from conception through delivery, including successful project definition, evaluation of alternatives, planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, project delivery, and post go live stabilization. They will manage all factors that govern project success to ensure high quality delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. The successful candidate will also be responsible for understanding impact of projects on business processes and facilitating a smooth transition of system and process changes. On some projects, they may be responsible for both project management and business analysis tasks including process mapping, requirements definition, IT testing, oversight of user testing, and end user training. This individual may manage multiple simultaneous projects or have portfolio management responsibilities.
The Sr. IT Project Manager will specifically support the development of the Applications ERP roadmap.
This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based from either Houston or Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Identifies new innovative solutions to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and/or enhance the customer experience.

Experience with implementing Oracle ERP solutions, preferably the latest Oracle Cloud technologies.
Well-rounded technical experience with solid understanding of common technologies and solutions, both infrastructure and applications.
Significant experience in all aspects of IT project management from hardware infrastructure through application development and deployment.
Applications/software experience, including management of custom software development and implementation of configured or off-the-shelf solutions.
Experience with IT procurement and vendor relationship management Knowledge of PMI's Project Management methodology and best practices.
Experience managing projects using a variety of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and waterfall.
Business Analysis experience including process mapping, requirements definition, IT testing, coordination of user testing, and training.

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst I to assist with the support of our premier utility clients. As a member of our project controls & finance team you will have primary responsibility for the successful planning and execution of projects within a program relating to revenue and expenditure.
In this role you can expect duties include creating, supporting and leading financial project plans with provisions for invoicing and billing, project and program accruals, financial reports (Monthly / Quarterly/Annual/ as required), prepare and participate in dynamic and strategic forecasting ensuring that projects stay on track financially within the guidelines of company, project execution plan and applicable regulatory agencies.
Heavy involvement and collaborating with both internal and client stakeholders to ensure program has focused and timely financial focus. The Ideal Candidate would have a working and managerial level experience enabling them to provide financial, AR/AP/Billing and project facing financial controls guidance. Thorough understanding of business implications of decisions and display focus on profitability, cost drivers and ability to work with program leadership to facilitate sustained cost reductions through process and fact-based enhancements.
As a key member of the program team you will execute and oversee all program related financial and associated reporting activities for program team.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Subcontractor Invoice Processing: reviewing, processing, and verifying subcontractor invoices, securing approvals, addressing discrepancies, and collaborating on change orders.
Invoice Management: reviews, processes, and ensures the accuracy of project invoices in alignment with contracts. Collaborate with vendors to address discrepancies and ensure timely submission to clients and support expediting invoice payments.
Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures. Maintains tracking database to ensure that subcontractor funding aligns with work authorization and expenditures. Tracks additional change orders.
Subcontractor Timesheet Management: updating templates, overseeing collection, ensuring accuracy, addressing discrepancies, managing workflow with the Integration team for contract compliance, and reviewing budgetary aspects.
Participates in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project subcontractor issues.
Management of subcontractor timecard submittals and updating the timecard template.
Involved in the tracking system to ensure that project management is fully aware of detailed change order status.
Subcontractor Payment: processing payments, collaborating on accuracy and compliance, and approving invoices.
In compliance and auditing, the analyst ensures adherence to financial and invoicing policies and procedures, facilitating internal and external audits related to project finances and addressing findings by implementing necessary corrective actions.

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Structure Representative to be based in Orange, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Structure Representative for various construction activities and representing the client.
Perform daily field inspection of bridge construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Prepare daily field inspection reports based on the on-site construction activities.
Read and interpret plans, specifications and other construction document.
Review submittals including shop drawings, product data, test samples, construction work plans.
Ensure approved materials are received and correctly incorporated into the project.
Monitor, coordinate and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations and environmental documents.
Identify non-compliant work and take appropriate action to bring it back into compliance.
Immediately report critical issues and/or possible delays to supervisor.
Monitor and document all construction equipment, personnel and activities.
Assist the Structure Representative with documenting the project progress of structure related items.
Perform calculations from the plans verifying location, layout, line and grade of various elements.
Assist with responding to Contractor's Request for Information (RFI).
Ensure all changes and/or modifications are noted on the final plans.
Facilitate safety meetings and other team meetings.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with various contractors, entities, clients, and regulatory agencies, e.g., sampling and testing of construction materials, construction staking and surveying.

Qualifications

Previous structure construction inspection experience working on highway projects on Caltrans Right-of-Way or other DOTs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with the construction contract requirements and shop drawing prepared by contractor
Verify field dimension including vertical and horizontal field control for structures
Oversee staff performing daily field inspections
Prepare Daily diaries and maintains inspection records

A minimum of six (6) years with bridge or structural construction inspection as related to major public works projects and a four-year degree in civil engineering is desired.

A thorough understanding of Cal-OSHA practices and procedures.

Job Description
This position is expected to begin as soon as available in our Transportation Aviation Business Line. This includes projects located throughout the Mid-Atlantic including Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and on occasion, other surrounding states in the Eastern region.
The position involves construction inspection and management of airport projects dealing with airfield safety, standards, improvement, and expansion programs. Construction work includes construction administration and management including shop drawing review, responding to contractor questions, and construction inspection. Additional work includes environmental permitting, review of construction plans, specifications, schedules, design reports, and cost estimates to support the design team, including constructability reviews. The Aviation Engineering Group interacts with and is supported by many other in-house disciplines including Planners, Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical and Special Systems Engineers in typical projects supporting our airport clients.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs construction administration and construction inspection.
Serve as independent lead RPR/RE on the construction phase of airport projects within the region led by our Hunt Valley, Maryland office
Facilitate the construction management of the project through coordination with the Project Manager, Design Team, Contractor, and Owner
Informal task supervision and mentorship of other Junior Engineers/Inspectors at the direction of the Project Manager.
Tracks quantities and work progress utilizing field measurements and Civil 3D
Travel to airport project sites (expected 90%+ field work)
Conducts constructability reviews for airport projects to support design team
Completes calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematics related to airport development projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, terminals, and other airport facilities
Prepares and interprets construction specifications for airport development projects per FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-10 and State requirements
Prepares reports, schedules, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
Collects and analyzes data to support design and construction phases of projects
Collaborates with other airport/civil engineering, architectural, and engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, Utility companies, permitting agencies, contractors, government and regulatory agencies, and clients
Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule
Read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language
Work in both an office and field (construction) environment for extended working hours
Travel to, reside, and work at airport sites throughout the region

The West Transportation EC Growth Lead is responsible for the continued growth and successful performance of AECOM's West Region Transportation business line with respect to Enterprise Capabilities. The EC Growth Lead will work closely with the Regional Business Line Leaders, Operations Leads, Division Mangers, Project Managers, and EC Liaisons to aggressively increase EC usage to meet West TRA EC Goals. Key responsibilities associated with this role will include but are not limited to:
Influence early consideration of EC in BL opportunities. Participate in BD or Go/No-Go discussions on selected projects to further raise awareness where EC should be considered.
Participate in bi-weekly West Region BL EC Engagement calls.
Familiarize understanding of service areas currently available within the West Transportation business line. Consider how we might grow our engagement in these areas, as well as any planned growth areas of your business. Screen these areas to determine if EC could play a role and provide a benefit in helping to deliver them (lower price/specialized capability/increased capacity).
Increase your understanding of the technical capabilities offered by the various EC offices that are relevant to West TRA current or future service offerings. Advise EC on new skill offerings that are needed by the BL but currently not supported by EC. This information exchange can be a part of the EC Engagement Calls.
Become an ambassador of EC within West TRA, sharing successes, and escalating any challenges that you become aware of.
Leverage future network with other regional EC Growth Champions to share approaches and best practices being utilized in the Americas.
Expectations
Review the proposed role with West TRA RBLL/DOO/Supervisor to obtain their thoughts on how to address gaps that you might have with respect to understanding of the current business as it relates to EC.
Review with RBLL/DOO/Supervisor how role is going to be communicated within business line and how you will be engaging capture managers and operations managers.
Attend and participate in the West Region BL EC Engagement Calls (.5 bi-weekly).
Attend and participate in the West Region Growth Champions touch-point calls (1 hour bi-weekly on the off-week from pipeline calls). Level of effort and time spent in this role will be determined by the business line.
Hold individual calls with PMs chasing major pursuits that are eligible to use EC and discuss the breadth of EC resources that can be provided. Facilitate phone call connections between the PM and the EC staff.
Participate in the development of the project budget with PMs to incorporate EC staffing.
Meet with the PM for any larger projects that will utilize EC as they are developing their project budget to integrate individual names from EC.
Meet with PMs for major projects that are utilizing EC to evaluate the quality of support EC is providing and then help pinpoint/address quality issues if any (with EC).

This position is expected to begin Summer 2025
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
Conducting site visits to document site conditions, equipment, and structures.
Collecting stormwater, impingement, and entrainment samples.
Working outside in all seasons in industrial settings.
Preparation of environmental compliance reports.
Environmental permit package preparation.
Health and Safety procedure preparation.
Understanding environmental regulations and preparing reports and plans that meet the applicable regulations.
Office tasks may include reviewing and interpreting data and preparing reports and work plans; client, subcontractor, and regulatory agency interaction; and developing and implementing remedial strategies.
Working within teams of various size at AECOM to complete large projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental, Safety, or other Science, or related field.
Valid Driver's License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.
Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the environmental, health or safety field.
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA).
Knowledge of water, soil, and air testing, sampling and investigation techniques and procedures.
Experience with annual Tier II, TRI, GHG and Emissions Inventory reports (preferred).
Experience in waste characterization, Pennsylvania waste reporting and hazardous waste manifest preparation.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Current OHSA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification, or current 8-hour refresher certificate.
Adept at working with teams.
Ability to work alternate shifts.
Able to efficiently assist on multiple projects with varying timelines.
Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Support management of Rail Transit Tunnel project.

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager for the Amtrak ADASP projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale national joint venture program. The role can be worked remotely from the United States (Lower 48 States) with +/- 20% travel to sites.
General Program Description
The Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP) is responsible for bringing Amtrak stations into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADASP implements design and construction of infrastructure improvements to provide accessibly to Amtrak's intercity rail transportation system. This position will be part of a Joint Venture (AECOM & Jacobs) that is providing staff and services to Amtrak.
Responsibilities
The Construction Manager (aka Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR)/Resident Engineer (RE) is responsible for providing technical and construction oversight of several concurrent construction contracts throughout the contracting life cycle from solicitation through final acceptance of contractor's work and contract closeout. The COTR/RE is the appointed technical liaison between the Contracting Official and a contractor. The COTR/RE monitors the contractor's performance and provides technical advice to the Contracting Official and contractor within the scope of work for a contract. The COTR/RE is the primary point of contact regarding a contractor's performance.
Construction projects will be at locations throughout the continental U.S.A. The COTR/RE's work is performed primarily remotely (off-site approximately 80% of working time) with travel required to project locations to review the contractor's work (on-site approximately 20% of working time).
The COTR/RE works directly with the Contracting Official, Design Manager and Designer of Record, and reports directly to the program's National Construction Manager.
The COTR/RE's responsibilities include:
Encouraging and supporting a culture of safety on all projects.
Assuring work is executed in accordance with the contract as well as good engineering and construction practices.
Being thoroughly familiar with all pertinent contract documents.
Verifying that the contractor's work is in conformance with applicable contract drawings and specifications.
Managing the contractor's work and coordinating with Design Manager, operations department, safety department, and engineering department personnel so that the interests of client are always considered.
Managing the contractor's work to allow Amtrak, host railroads, third parties and other project stakeholders to continue their on-site operations throughout the project.
Judging the quantity, quality, fitness, and acceptability of all parts of the work.
Accepting work based on specified criteria and testing results.
Interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
Coordinating with the Design Manager and Designer of Record on clarifications to the contract scope of work.
Reviewing the contractor's construction submittals on means and methods and delegating the technical reviews to the Design Manager or Designer of Record.
Managing field personnel responsible for inspection of the work in progress.
Performing site visits to inspect the work in progress.
Monitoring the contractor's quality for compliance with the contractor's approved quality control / quality assurance (QA/QC) plan.
Monitoring contractor's work for completion within the approved contract time and price.
Implementing claim preventive actions by working with the contractor to proactively resolve issues.
Managing the contract closeout process, including making recommendations on the substantial completion of work, developing a punch list of minor remaining work, and making a recommendation on the final acceptance and final completion of the contract work.
Managing the contractor's performance of warranty work during the contract's warranty period.
Keeping thorough records of actions taken that impact the contractor's ability to deliver or perform.
Maintaining all communications with the contractor.
Retaining all project reports and documentation in the Unifier document control system.
Hosting weekly contract progress meetings and preparing meeting minutes to be distributed to all attendees.
Attending meetings as required which relate to program management, design, procurement, third party coordination, historic preservation, railroad operations, and public outreach.
Maintaining contract logs for non-compliance notices (NCNs), change orders, requests for clarification (RFI's), submittals, and other as needed.
Conducting quality assurance audits.
Receiving and reviewing progress reports from the contractor.
Assisting the Project Scheduler in reviewing the contractor's proposed schedule of values, baseline schedule, schedule updates, and schedule recovery plans.
Assisting the Project Scheduler in assessing contractor's requests for changes to the contract time (period of performance).
Recommending approval or disapproval of applications for payment (invoices).
Providing written weekly reports that document the status of the contract and the contractor's progress.
Documenting any schedule delays, including cause and responsibility, to defend against possible delay or acceleration claims.
Notifying both the contractor and the Contracting Official of any performance or technical deficiencies by the contractor, or any violations or failure to conform to the terms and conditions of the contract.
Assisting with the Contracting Official in preparing contract correspondence.
Assisting the Contracting Official in assessing and negotiating contractor's requests for change orders and claims.
Assisting the Contracting Official in closing out a contract by confirming the contractor's technical deliverables have been received and accepted.
Assisting the Contracting Official in completing contractor performance surveys.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering or closely related field plus eight (8) years of experience in construction management or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Valid United States Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Mid-level Environmental Geologist for employment to be a task leader for a variety of environmental projects (i.e., Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions) for the Seattle, Washington Area. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a BS in Geology or Engineering with a successful work history of environmental investigation and remediation projects. Federal/Department of Defense experience is desired.
A minimum of 4 years experience with environmental investigations through site clean-up and closure. Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Field work will be required, including travel and oversight of subcontractors.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
Anticipated division of job-related tasks is about a 50/50 split between office and field work.
Qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel.
Candidates will be responsible for writing at least field observations, data collection, and field data interpretation sections of reports for which they collected the data. This will grow into data interpretation.
Project and task management, client interaction, proposal writing, cost estimating, remedial systems design, overseeing implementation/construction of remedial actions, technical report writing, and mentoring.

BA/BS degree in Geology or Engineering plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Masters Degree in Geology or Engineering or related discipline.
6+ years of experience within the consulting industry, demonstrating technical leadership in conducting remedial investigations and design.
Experienced with site assessment and characterization, remediation, risk assessment, environmental chemistry, etc.
Licensed Geologist or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (or eligible to complete upon hire)
Possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
Experience using ArcGIS and generating maps and report figures.
Knowledgeable and experience working in the State of Washington and or State of Alaska including an understanding of the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) regulations, and or Alaska State Regulations.
Excellent skills in written and spoken communication (including polished client presentation skills), organization, time management.
Field work will be required, including oversight of subcontractors.
Able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors.

The Water Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, talented Civil Engineering Inspector, with a focus in water resources construction engineering experience in our Miami office. This role within AECOM offers an exciting opportunity to support the Water Resource design teams in South Florida by working with different teams to complete a variety of projects that involve water resources, project design and construction services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General civil construction experience in utility construction, pavement, and large diameter pipe installations.
Communicates project tasks between offices with high level of coordination and communication skills.
Responsibilities may include overseeing the planning and design of various project elements, review and implementation of construction plans and specifications, permitting packages, and documents.
Overseeing construction phase engineering services.
Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives.

Description - Construction Manager will be the project lead in the field overseeing the construction management staff on Zero Emission Bus Facilities related projects. AECOM's EHS team is seeking a Health and Safety Compliance Specialist. This hybrid role can be based out of our Long Beach, Los Angeles, or Orange, California offices. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team of engineers and scientists that are responsible for a wide range of health and safety consulting services in California. We are looking for a proven professional in the industry who understands health and safety regulations and has the ability to implement a variety of support services for our clients. The role includes the opportunity to support large local, national and international clients with their health and safety compliance needs.
The successful candidate will have experience and be capable of executing the following responsibilities of this position with minimal to no supervision:

AECOM is actively seeking highly motivated individuals for the CHAMP (Coordinated Highway Assistance & Maintenance Program) in District 2. Starting Pay is $17hr.
District 2 covers the following areas: Milledgeville, Dublin, Louisville, Augusta, & Madison, serving 27 counties in the East Central Georgia region. Georgia DOT's complimentary roadside assistance and maintenance service known as CHAMP (Coordinated Highway Assistance & Maintenance Program) is available to motorists traveling through the region.
CHAMP Operators play a key critical role in safeguarding motorists traveling the interstates by ensuring roadways are clear of debris, reporting highway maintenance issues and assisting stranded motorists, among other duties.
These dynamic roles are ideal for individuals with solid mechanical and/or automotive repair skills, a background in long- or short-term driving, emergency responders, ex-military and former HERO responders. Full-time CHAMP Operators will be provided with a company cell phone, radio, and a fully outfitted response vehicle while working on this program.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Patrol and monitor a segment of interstate roadway in an assigned region, looking for stranded motorists, roadway deficiencies, site distance problems and obstructions that may cause lane blockage.
Professionally and courteously assist the public with circumstances that have left them stranded, such as dead batteries, running out of gas, or flat tires.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Municipal laws, rules and ordinances.
Monitor, report and document roadway deficiencies to Dispatch or District offices.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma and or equivalent certificate (GED) or 1 year of relevant work experience in lieu of education.
Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Ability to drive, using an AECOM provided vehicle, patrolling and monitoring a segment of interstate roadway in an assigned region.
Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record, including no suspension of license in the last 5 years.
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security and motor vehicle background checks.
Employees must also participate in monthly MVR monitoring program and maintain a satisfactory driving record as a condition of employment.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and successfully participate in the program's mandatory random drug screening process.
Possess or be able and willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
Working knowledge of basic automotive repair.
Willingness to be on call 24/7 and respond to after-hours call outs.
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in outdoor environments with uneven terrain, variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, moisture, dust, dryness, noise, and automotive-related chemicals (e.g., fuels, coolants, lubricants, etc.); position requires frequent operation of vehicles, lifting of

AECOM seeks an experienced Traffic Monitoring Senior Supervisor for our Miami, Florida location. In this role, you'll supervise traffic monitoring operations within the Greater Miami Expressway Agency program , ensuring high-quality services and efficient traffic flow. The Greater Miami Expressway Agency (GMX) maintains high standards for transportation operations and is dedicated to improving traffic operations throughout the five GMX toll roads which include SR924, SR112, SR836, SR874 and SR878 in Miami-Dade County. The GMX Transportation Management Center (TMC) staff proactively manages planned and unplanned incidents by providing accurate, timely and meaningful traffic information to the motoring public while coordinating resources with the Road Ranger Safety Service Patrols and first responders. The goals of the TMC program is to provide high-quality services and coordinate with area stakeholders/agencies to manage quick detection and safe clearance of incidents. AECOM's TMC Senior Shift Supervisor serves as GMX's primary day-to-day on-site liaison with the TMC team. This position is based at the collocated FDOT District 6 and Florida Highway Patrol control room.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the organizational management and direct supervision of the Traffic Management Center (TMC) operations staff facilitating a cohesive and balanced operation.
Oversight of staff to ensure operations are monitoring roadways, including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic events and congestion with ITS devices such as closed-circuit TV, speed detectors and other devices.
Communicating with operations/project managers and agency leadership to provide status updates, ascertain needs within the control room operation and provide solutions to issues. Provides regular progress report deliverables to senior management.
Cultivating the team to act like emergency dispatchers within a call center environment. This includes dispatching via a two-way radio systems, operating computer systems, responding to events, handling motorist assist calls and other activities that require timely and efficient responses.
Contribute to accurate and timely after-action reports for incidents and events.
Supporting and updating Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG).
Reviewing applicant resumes, conducting interviews, and recommending for hire/advancement.
Actively reviewing operational activities for accuracy and appropriateness, providing guidance and feedback to staff as needed.
Mentoring staff and new hires on procedures and policies while maintaining performance requires to avoid any contract penalties.
Administrative functions include invoicing reviews, shift scheduling, liaising with AECOM corporate management, subcontractor coordination, operator training, payroll processing, personnel performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
Ensuring, directly and through subordinates, that tasks are completed on time and to company and client standards.
This is a 24/7 emergency operations environment. Shifts can include overnights, weekends, holiday and/or rotating schedules along with 24x7 on-call support when necessary.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special suppression systems, and more.
Develop life safety code compliance plans.
Assist in the development of permit documents.
Develop your engineering expertise by learning and applying fire protection principles, design techniques, and industry standards.
Assist in the engineering design process under the supervision of a senior engineer, ensuring that designs meet project requirements and safety codes.
Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
Employ computer software tools to solve basic engineering problems and support the design and analysis of fire protection systems.
Perform tasks in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule, ensuring project milestones are met while working under supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or higher focusing on Fire Protection engineering, or a related discipline.
Due to the nature of this work, US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of fire protection systems, safety codes, and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CAD software and fire protection engineering tools is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and develop skills in fire protection engineering.

AECOM is actively searching for a an experienced proposal leader to work within our Disaster Resilience Solutions (DRS) team as a Proposal and Marketing Specialist: Disaster Response and Recovery . We are looking for a proposal specialist to support strategic growth and winning work, for Federal, State and Local clients, in the disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation sectors. The Disaster Resilience Solutions (DRS) team supports federal, state, and local jurisdictions in addressing global challenges like sustainable development, climate change, humanitarian services, and disaster risk management, helping clients with preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts to implementing safeguards for resilient communities.
In this role, you will collaborate with regional and business line teams on identified priority pursuits, lead and support pre-positioning, internal and external marketing communications, RFP/RFQ responses, and interview preparation. You will work with a cross-discipline team from marketing, operations, contracts, procurement, small business programs, finance, and others as applicable. This position is within a dynamic, high-functioning team of 45+ Federal proposal and marketing experts.

Job Responsibilities:
Proposal Management Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of compliant and compelling RFP/RFI responses for large (>$15 - $20M+), Federal, State and Local pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required.
In partnership with the Capture Manager, leading/participating in Go/No-Go, capture planning and positioning activities and develop the win strategies, themes, discriminators, source content, graphic concepts, and other writer guidance.
Review and translate RFP and amendment requirements into a compliance matrix, annotated proposal outline, and content plans. Monitor and respond to amendments.
Write and/or edit proposal content such as executive summaries, past performance sections, management approaches, and resumes/staffing sections; and providing detailed writing guidance to others for the development of technical and pricing sections.
Lead Pink and Red reviews and serve as a reviewer on teams for DRS Federal pursuits, applying insight and knowledge related to this specific market sector.
This position has accountability for the quality, compliance and timely delivery of the final deliverable.
Supporting debriefs, after action reviews, and gathering of client feedback on proposals to provide continuous improvement.
May serve as an active mentor to other proposal specialists.
Marketing Communications Responsibilities
Develop insights, provides recommendations and makes decisions about future content activity.
Produce content to support thought leadership, abstracts for conferences, pre-positioning for proposals, campaigns, marketing collateral, services, product and events. Content creation may be in the form of blogs, articles, reports, case studies, videos, website text, podcasts or infographics in collaboration with the Marketing Communications and Design team.
Lead or support special projects involving teams of BL or multiple BLs staff, as directed by BL Marketing Director.
