$27.00 per hour. $2,500 sign on bonus _SUMMARY:_ The individual in this position will be responsible for operating CDL required fleet vehicles, truck mounted forklifts and warehouse forklifts. Components of this position include working with warehouse staff along with following DOT and company safety policies. _SUMMARY:_ Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for the accurate, timely and safe loading of all outbound products from the Cedar Rapids plant to end user customers, as well as sister plants, the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods, and will control inventory levels by coordinating physical counts and assures conformance to Kanban pull system Primary Duties: * * *1st shift - Hours negotiable * Deep knowledge and understanding of AMI behavior, practice them, train subordinates, and promote and enforce it; * Practice, promote, and enforce all HR, safety, and quality policies and procedures regarding hiring, training, certification, audits, and disciplinary actions; enforce all policies & procedures; * Responsible for housekeeping, inspection for safety, a safe place for all, 5S, ease of operations, continuous improvement, glass-free floor, free of dust and debris, & training new EEs; * Responsible for hiring, developing, evaluation, and training of all employees in all areas; * Accountable for accurate, timely, safe loading of all outbound products, following and enforcing all loading procedures; * Manage freight utilization rate, communicate to PC and CS in advanced of loading, underutilized & overloaded trailers * Oversee all FedEx, hotshot ting, and other outbound freights; * Provide clear, concise, complete, and action-based communication to the managers and customer service; * Reduce and eliminate number of units waiting for trucks on Load Dates; * Assist the Plant Manager in: developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; superior customer service; development and sustainment of lean initiatives; and on-time delivery; * Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the staging, loading and shipping of goods; * Responsible and accountable for the safety of all employees (all shifts) of the department; * Work with Cardinal Trucking to manage the traffic of trailers and trucks in the yard; organize and 5S * Confer with other managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments; * Able and willing to keep Senior Leads and Leads accountable to HR, Safety and Quality policies and procedures; * Avoid short ship without any prior written approval by customer service; * Prepare charts and reports, work orders, schedules, and other records and reports; * Balance & cross-train personnel to maintain maximum efficiency and output; * Identify and resolve barriers to plant throughput; review all SOP and make sure all employees follow; * Administer all assets inspections, recording and reporting. Primary Duties: * Provide leadership support as well as manage and develop all receiving department personnel * Assign and schedule personnel * Manage and oversee the receiving of raw material into inventory system, ensuring materials are physically counted to match packing list and purchase order data; question appropriate person when there are discrepancies arise; * Oversee and communicate PO needs/issues to corporate purchasing as needed * Manage the Receiving area and inventory, ensuring it well maintained and organized * Coordinate and communicate with other departments * Ensure Material Handlers are maintaining material inventory for all the lines * Assist in evaluation and hiring of staff * Enforce safety and quality requirements * Offers suggestions for process improvements to management * Ensure proper training for staff and that they are crossed trained in various areas of the receiving department * Communicate and work closely with Production Supervisors * Be a hands-on team player. * Other duties as assigned by the area Manager Qualifications Required: * Willing and able to work directly on the production line. * Proficient with a tape measure. (Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.) * Read a cut sheet * Basic geometry skills * Fraction to decimal conversions * Entry level computer skills * Work in heat for a prolonged period * Basic carpentry skills (using a miter saw to cut angles) * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. * Comfortable to work within a shift structure system. * Able to make decisions on their own. * Strong team working capabilities. * Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. * Ability to lift upto 75lbs occasionally and 15-30 lbs frequently during the shift. * Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Qualifications Desired: * Bi-lingual (English and Spanish). Job Description

Primary Duties: * Work 10hr. shifts, Monday - Saturday * 1st shift - 6:00am-8:00am start * $25.00-$27.00/hr. based on experience * Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment according to prescribed schedules and procedures * Hands on maintenance experience of manufacturing equipment, including basic electrical maintenance * Complete routine maintenance tests to keep machines in standard operating condition Qualifications * Must be dependable with excellent attendance * Excellent work performance * Electrical Maintenance. * Low voltage Maintenance 24volt, 480 volt * Knowledge of* pneumatic equipment. * Read and understand technical/repair manuals and vendor resources * Knowledge and use of power and hand tools * Safety oriented - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at ALL times * Attention to detail and SAFETY a must! * Working knowledge and experience with Lock Out Tag Out * Knowledgeable with the use of computers (MS Office Suite), CMMS Software * Ability to stand for long periods of time. * Ability to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds or more * Team oriented * Ability to work a with a diverse work force * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Ability to handle multiple tasks * Work overtime as required All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
