Responsibilities
The International Product Development Manager, Professional Education is responsible for leading the development of translated versions of lifesaving CPR, first aid, and other global healthcare content, learning programs, and products. This individual is responsible for managing the development, translation, localization, volunteer reviews, revisions, quality standards, fiscal management, and on-time deliveries for assigned products through (1) being responsible for the development, localization and translation of products from start to finish; (2) working with project management to develop project plans and procedures; (3) collaborating with AHA staff, vendors, and volunteers to achieve quality standards; (4) maintaining fiscal oversight and adherence to established budgets; and (5) ongoing evaluation and revisions for the life of the language portfolio.
Develops integrated working relationships with AHA staff and volunteers involved in the core content development to produce more globalized content, and a smooth hand-over of materials for localization and translation.
Leads cross-functional project teams in the development, localization and translation of content, portfolios, and products. Ensures project team's adherence to a general product development process used across the department and develops sub-processes for project-specific tasks as needed.
Develops an understanding of the product, intended audience, content organization and modes of delivery for assigned products. Leads adherence to product, language, and content specific style guides for internal and external use.
Facilitates determination and implementation of changes, and reviews content to confirm accurate implementation of edits or changes to ensure that translated materials meet AHA standards for accuracy before publication.
Partners with a project manager to develop project scope and timelines. Lead the development project and ensure all internal and external team members meet the deadlines outlined in project plans.
Proactively coordinates and collaborates with the AHA Science & Health Advisor, the designated scientific authority (in-country subject matter expert), and the core product team to achieve scientific approval and signoff of major localization recommendations. Review and triage localization recommendations from the field.
Identifies product and localization challenges with a focus on the solution by performing corrective/preventative action.
Works well in a team environment and proactively contributes to departmental goals of improving processes and product specifications for rapid content updates.
Proactively collaborates and effectively communicates across cross-functional project teams to ensure a uniformed goal: project efficacy, consistency, on-time launch and on budget.
Trains, motivates, and engages volunteers and subject matter experts and applies volunteer expertise across projects.
Manages budgets and contracts for adherence to approved scope for assigned projects.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in product development.
Experience working with multi-language products and multi-cultural/international staff or partners.
Knowledge of educational product development.
Knowledge of educational product development for healthcare/technical publishing (web, eLearning, video, content creation) is highly desired.
Knowledge of linguistic and translation concepts and tools (localization, Translation Memory) is a plus.
Attention to detail is a must.
Able to effectively lead projects to a schedule to meet or exceed on-time launch.
Able to travel up to 10-20% within and outside the US to include overnight and weekend stays.

Experience developing eLearning and other digital products that meet accessibility requirements. Proven track record to deliver complex eLearning modules on schedule
Project management experience
Instructional design experience
Healthcare background preferred; required for candidates who will work with advanced healthcare content
High level of detail orientation, without losing sight of the broader vision

We are currently hiring for a Community Impact Director in our Columbus office. The Community Impact Director drives the execution of health impact goals within the Central Ohio area, including surrounding counties, by focusing on addressing the social determinants of health with an emphasis on hypertension/blood pressure, women's health, nutrition, and tobacco/e-cigarette use with a focus on diverse communities. The Director effectively integrates population health strategies focusing on collaboration with Development, Quality & Systems Improvement, Advocacy and Communications & Marketing partners. Serves as internal consultant to the region/territory on community and population health strategies and trends with a specialized focus on efforts to drive health improvement across diverse communities.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement collective, sustainable impact efforts, aligned with the market's community assessment outcomes with a focus on blood pressure management, reducing risk for women's health, maximizing nutrition, establishing cardiac emergency response plans and prevention of tobacco & e-cigarette use. Includes creating an engagement plan for key volunteers and strategic alliances, institutions, and corporate relationships.
Successfully build relationships with federally qualified health centers, healthcare systems and hospitals and implement ambulatory care programs focused on hypertension and diabetes.
In conjunction with market VP, Community Impact, develop and execute policy, system and environmental changes in collaboration with key volunteers and strategic alliances spanning across both community and clinical leadership in Central Ohio, including the surrounding suburban and rural counties.
Serve on relevant coalitions or committees throughout the community which may include attendance at meetings or events during evenings or weekends.
Identify and assist in recruiting diverse volunteers to serve in leadership roles across the market.
Collaborate with development staff partners and volunteers to identify, cultivate and secure program funding, including sponsorship (cash and in-kind) for relevant campaigns, and help activate partnerships as needed.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including regional and state-level health strategies colleagues, to ensure that local opportunities are aligned with the American Heart Association's agenda at the state and region level.
Qualifications
2+ years' experience working with community/public health issues and/or managing community/public health promotion or related educational programs.
Understanding of local health systems, relationships with hospitals, health clinics, and Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Proven ability to recruit, mobilize and manage volunteers.
University/College degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and events ensuring deadline compliance.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently participate in a multi-disciplinary team environment working towards common goals with internal and external clients. Ability to influence team members without supervisory authority.
Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement collective, sustainable impact efforts, aligned with the market's community assessment outcomes with a focus on blood pressure management, reducing risk for women's health, maximizing nutrition, establishing cardiac emergency response plans and prevention of tobacco & e-cigarette use. Includes creating an engagement plan for key volunteers and strategic alliances, institutions, and corporate relationships.
Successfully build relationships with federally qualified health centers, healthcare systems and hospitals and implement ambulatory care programs focused on hypertension and diabetes.
In conjunction with market VP, Community Impact, develop and execute policy, system and environmental changes in collaboration with key volunteers and strategic alliances spanning across both community and clinical leadership in Central Ohio, including the surrounding suburban and rural counties.
Serve on relevant coalitions or committees throughout the community which may include attendance at meetings or events during evenings or weekends.
Identify and assist in recruiting diverse volunteers to serve in leadership roles across the market.
Collaborate with development staff partners and volunteers to identify, cultivate and secure program funding, including sponsorship (cash and in-kind) for relevant campaigns, and help activate partnerships as needed.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including regional and state-level health strategies colleagues, to ensure that local opportunities are aligned with the American Heart Association's agenda at the state and region level.
Qualifications
2+ years' experience working with community/public health issues and/or managing community/public health promotion or related educational programs.
Understanding of local health systems, relationships with hospitals, health clinics, and Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Proven ability to recruit, mobilize and manage volunteers.
University/College degree or equivalent experience, preferred.

Responsibilities
Supervises local and remote Network Engineers, setting long-term goals and short-term priorities to ensure accurate service delivery for Association critical apps.
Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
Design network architecture for cloud environments (Azure, AWS currently) with integration into security services and on-premises networks. Ensure network designs are documented and meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
Data entry and data management.
Process donations, invoices, and payments.
Coordinate event materials including:
Invitations, brochures, tribute journals, gift bags
Preparing attendee list and tracking registration
Working with vendors
Obtaining required permits
Attending assigned events to help with set-up and tear down.
Coordinate and collaborate with vendors and Directors to implement logistics for assigned campaigns and day of event activities at the Heart Ball Gala events. You will handle event logistics, infrastructure, lighting, sound, food, volunteers, etc.
Coordinate the vendor contract process for assigned day of events to ensure that each is following American Heart Association best practices, guidelines, and procedures.
Track vendors' adherence to contractual obligations and perform as agreed upon.
May act as day of event volunteer liaison including train volunteers and lead assignments on-site during event.
Report preparation and tracking support requires proficient Excel and Data Management skills.
Prepare and communicate schedules, meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
Perform administrative duties as required or requested.
May assist with the on-site distribution of collateral materials and volunteer access to Association systems.
Handles logistical and administrative support for the division Board of Directors, Board, and other Volunteer Leadership Meetings.
Qualifications

Responsibilities

Coordinate the vendor contract process for assigned day of events to ensure that each is following American Heart Association best practices, guidelines, and procedures.
Track vendors' adherence to contractual obligations and perform as agreed upon.
May act as day of event volunteer liaison including train volunteers and lead assignments on-site during event.
Report preparation and tracking support requires proficient Excel and Data Management skills.
Prepare and communicate schedules, meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
Perform administrative duties as required or requested.
May assist with the on-site distribution of collateral materials and volunteer access to Association systems.
Handles logistical and administrative support for the division Board of Directors, Board, and other Volunteer Leadership Meetings.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing Get with The GuidelinesR (GWTG) and certification program(s) advanced account services and building on established relationships with hospital, health system, and/or National Corporate customers as well as EMS agencies and outpatient and/or post-acute facilities. Responsible for leading post-sales process, customer retention, and activities to insure excellence and attention to details of the sales support and service effort. Also, responsible for daily operations and implementation of client supported projects, program, or promotion, including issue management, tracking, and reporting on achievement to defined goals. Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Improvement skills related to program and products and have the aptitude to acquire a working knowledge of Information Technology as it relates to the program/product after training. Able to apply knowledge to the field of account management responsibility.
Engage with clients at hospitals, healthcare systems, post-acute facilities, ambulatory/outpatient settings, or EMS organizations to implement and deliver program and product services, including active data collection, decision support tools, best practice sharing, quality improvement consultation, and how to build a program site team/infrastructure for success
Provide exceptional account support to build and maintain a positive relationship in collaboration with region American Heart Association staff and leadership. Review program participation and opportunities for expansion into additional quality programs. Skilled in seeking out program/product champions at the customer site, relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers/influencers in C-suite or executive service line positions as well as essential relationships with front line leaders and data abstractors
Organize, plan, and deliver both accredited and non-accredited workshops
Collaborate with sales team on the development and implementation of comprehensive territory/state plans to achieve organizational goals, generate revenue and reduce health disparities
Document activities in customer relationship management tools such as Microsoft Dynamics. Provide access and delivery of information through GWTG Registry Platform and other Health IT systems. Record and report on account interactions and execution of the supported initiative including tracking progress and reporting
Consult with appropriate hospital teams to identify and resolve quality measures compliance issues and facilitate program participation progress and optimization of program and product value and return on investment
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Candidate should live in the metropolitan Chicago area
Two (2) - Five (5) years of proven experience
Experience in an acute care hospital working directly on cardiovascular clinical quality or process improvement projects, or a national cardiac clinical quality improvement program that incorporates data capture within process improvement framework.
Experience in hospital/healthcare systems for Cardiovascular services, including coronary artery disease (STEMI/N-STEMI), Heart Failure, and/or neurological expertise specific to stroke.
Excellent skills in advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel and delivering presentations to both large and small groups
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Confident in working virtually with customers through platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to travel up to 30% local and overnight stay
Preferred Skills:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Health Education Specialist, or a clinical degree
Lean and Six Sigma skills are a plus
Experience in collaborative learning groups
Experience in healthcare quality improvement systems
Familiarity with Systems of Care work or understanding of EMS, Payers, CMS, and other aspects of a continuum of cardiovascular patient care from pre-hospital to post-acute care
