Technology Group is looking for a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to support projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. Developing control system software in PLC ladder logic, function block, HMI programming, etc.

Supporting hardware assembly and fabrication.
Performing facility startup, checkout, and commissioning, both domestically and abroad.
Communicating with clients and management regarding project status.

A Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
2-5 years of experience in control or data acquisition system design, implementation, or commissioning.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
Experience in software development with a high-level programming language such as C/C++/C# and with engineering application software tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB and SIMULINK. Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming environments such as Rockwell Software Studio 5000, SIEMENS TIA Portal, and Emerson PAC ME is a plus.
An interest and background in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems, PLCs, variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks.
A solid math background to select and develop data uncertainty calculations, digital filter algorithms, control transfer function realizations, and process simulation.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment to design, develop, and deliver control and data acquisition systems. Additionality must possess self-motivation and initiative to work alone when necessary.

Join our team as an I&C Designer where you will team with highly skilled software programmers and controls engineers, working on projects from initial concepts, through full design and construction, to on-site commissioning to ensure fully operational facilities. Description of Duties:
The Linux System Administrator (Evening Shift) supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The role involves monitoring system activity, implementing
upgrades, vulnerability management, and providing technical support to users. Be a part of a team of qualified, diverse
individuals working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will:
- Build, configure, deploy, administer, maintain and troubleshoot virtual and physical servers/systems
- Utilize and follow developer-provided documentation to build and configure server/system hardware and software to baseline specifications
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and restores network, server, and client systems as outages occur or as needed on a daily basis
- Researches technologies and leverages optimization techniques to ensure systems operate efficiently
- Perform necessary physical inspections and research using system/event logs, appropriate tools/software, etc... to identify problems, trends and aid in troubleshooting actions
- Provide timely updates to appropriate team leads, managers and stakeholders on status of tasks
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external team members and customers as needed
- Performs client support administrator duties as applicable
- Identify developer-documentation errors and provide to appropriate channels/personnel for correction.
- Use REMEDY ticketing system to report, track and document problem and resolution life-cycle actions on faulty systems
- Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software conflicts
- Performs application loading, system hardening to include STIG implementation, troubleshooting
- Perform evening shift work, typically 1400-2000 but may change to meet off-hour mission activities

Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience
- Must have 7 years of related experience in business systems, operating systems and servers and/or experience in light programming and troubleshooting
- Must have 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role
- Must have administration experience on RHEL 7 and 8 using Command Line Interface.
- Have experience building, configuring and deploying servers using VMware 7.0 (or higher).
- Have experience using Ansible or Ansible Tower automation to update software
- Must have a current DoD approved 8570 Level II certification such as Security+ CE
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience working with HBSS/ESS.
- Have experience working with ACAS.
- Have experience configuring and managing NetApp devices.
- Have experience building virtual switches and networks through vSphere
- Have experience installing, patching, configuring and troubleshooting Linux servers and workstations including associated peripherals
- Have experience with DISA tools used in scanning and remediating computer system vulnerabilities
- Have experience resolving hardware & software conflicts, performing server maintenance and break/fix activities
- Have DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance
This position is expected to pay $104,000 - $129,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

The team implements all parts of the software development process; from configuring and managing the deployment environment to writing, testing, and deploying the code. Responsibilities:
The Capabilities DevOps team's responsibilities include capturing and evaluating requirements, designing services, pipelines, and user interfaces/experiences (UI/UX) that are elegant and forward-thinking, selecting and implementing technologies that are the best fit for the application, managing and configuring the application code, documenting, testing, and maintaining the application during its deployed lifespan. This will include many of the following actions and more as requirements demand.
Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing software programs for computer-based training.
Research, document, and test security solutions for emerging technologies, security methodologies, and cyber security concepts.
Support the development of comprehensive, tactically relevant operational training through the design, development, and implementation of training scenarios required to prepare students for operations.
Work with a Team of multi-disciplinary professionals to create, evaluate, and apply necessary updates based on recommendations for course content and training material updates.
Advancing the maturity of, and troubleshooting issues with, existing class management tools to support and ensure delivery and grading of student activities.
Creating and maintaining virtualized systems used to facilitate and simulate real-world scenarios that create an immersive cyber-environment for students.
Performing system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Designing and developing utility programs and operations systems and conducting detailed analysis of system specifications.
Providing input for documentation of new or existing programs, associated documentation, block diagrams and logic flow charts applied to engineering problems.
Verifying accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data, conducting program tests, analyzing test results, and debugging programs errors.

As a Full-Stack developer you should fit the needs of both the UI/UX and Backend Service specialization at a minimum. While working on the team, there will be opportunities to expand into a DevOps specialist.
UI/UX specialist: Focus on creating the student and instructor facing interfaces and need the following skills at a minimum:
Develop aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly front ends using frameworks like react, angular, Vite and svelte
Develop and implement test beds and use test suites such as JUnit or PyTest for robust testing practices
Interface with API endpoints, databases, and other dataflow solutions
Perform trend analysis of student activities and identify potential improvements to course delivery systems and interfaces.
Backend Service specialist: Focus on creating dataflow components to collect, parse, and provide the information to other services or for exfiltration and deliverables. You will need the following skills at a minimum:
Develop services, APIs and dataflow solutions using various languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.JS, Express, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and Go.
Design and implement database schemas across multiple systems with and without replication using SQL and NoSQL solutions
Develop scripts, scrapers, and parsers in support of automated grading and course delivery
Develop and implement test beds and use test suites such as JUnit or PyTest for robust testing practices
Administer, configure, and maintain common Unix/Linux and Windows Server variants
Create and configure virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of developing real-world scenarios
Preferred:
Experience with VMWare, VSphere, and VCenter virtualization tool.
Awareness of data center operations and network-based server systems.
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely; analytical problem-solving skills; adept at root-cause analysis and mitigation.

BS degree from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of ten (10) years of engineering experience with at least five (5) years in project management, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of nine (9) years of engineering experience with at least five (5) years in project management experience or a PHD degree from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of seven (7) years of engineering experience with at least five (5) years in project management experience. Demonstrated performance on project management assignments of increasing responsibility including leading moderate size and complexity projects.
Background in Controls, Instrumentation, Software, and proven record for delivering control and data acquisition systems preferred. Desired experience to include control of test systems including air speed and temperature conditioning systems, and complex, unique machine system controls. Experience with custom high speed data acquisition and real-time systems also desired.
Demonstrated competence in project management and technical competence is discipline field(s) and knowledge of company policies and practices.
Demonstrated leadership ability and good communication skills are required.US citizenship is preferred; experience working in a US Government Classified environment is beneficial.
Leads technically challenging engineering and construction projects, potentially up fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) in design build cost or 30,000 hours of professional services. Leads a team in the accomplishment of work on projects of moderate size and in the development of all required documentation/deliverables within budget and schedule constraints. Controls project work accomplishment versus scope of services contracted, assesses progress versus schedule. Resolves conflicts or elevates conflicts to management level necessary for resolution.
Most projects fall in the automotive, aerospace, or scientific market spaces, particularly in terms of advanced testing facilities. Example facilities include wind tunnels, engine test facilities, rocket test stands, climatic simulation facilities, etc. Engineering/design work typically performed in offices in Tullahoma, TN or Bingham Farms, MI while construction and commissioning work is most often at a client's site in the continental US with some work in international locations such as the UK, Germany, Japan, etc. Nearly every design is for a unique, one-of-a-kind engineered solution.
