Are you a highly motivated and technically competent senior-level engineer interesting in leading our electrical engineering design functional group? Are you interested in leading a team developing innovative electronics for space/airborne/terrestrial radar/RF applications? Are you interested in taking designs from concept to prototype to qualification testing and finally to production using our in-house SMT line for rapid technology development and deployment? If so, then we offer a great opportunity for you as our electrical engineering functional manager. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and strategic focus to enable you to be successful.
The electrical engineering functional group manager (FGM) is responsible for understanding project schedules and requirements and assigning resources to these projects. The FGM assesses future resource needs and proactively plans for staff training, talent acquisition, technology development, and process improvement. The FGM supervises the group, approves timesheets, conducts performance reviews, and implements performance improvement plans when needed. The FGM also works with other stakeholders such as the SMT manufacturing team to make recommendations about electrical engineering design tools, equipment purchases, and process improvements in support of our AS9100D Quality Management System. It is expected that this role is approximately 25% managerial and 75% technical.
Understand the schedule and requirements of all projects in the division.
Assign electrical engineering resources across all division projects and assess future resource needs* Participate in project-level schedule/staffing/budget reviews, as well as division-level manpower planning meetings.
Coordinate with program managers to address resource needs and resolve staffing conflicts.
Engage with talent acquisition and staffing partners to cover project staffing requirements.
Proactively plan for staff training and technology development.
Supervise the group: approve timesheets, conduct performance reviews, provide staff recognition, and implement performance improvement plans when needed.
Make recommendations about modeling/design tools, equipment purchases, and licensing.
Develop/improve engineering processes commensurate with modern e-CAD practices and IPC class 3 methodologies, and support quality audits.
Collaborate with FGMs in adjacent technical areas.
Work among cross-functional teams to design complex systems.
Lead a design effort as a technical Subject Matter Expert or Integrated Product Team Lead.
Mentor mid-level staff.
Prior experience leading people.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of experience, or a Master's (preferred) with 6-8 years of experience.
Schematic Capture and Layout using Altium or similar tools.
Experience with board bring up and testing.
Experience integrating and testing boards as part of a larger system.
Experience with performance simulation and modeling.

We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Test Engineer (Mid) to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
You will be working in an organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.
The Test Engineer (Mid) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications.
The Test Engineer (Mid) is responsible for creating software test and automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues; writing and initiating tests and then analyzing and reporting the test results in the ticketing system; and performing configuration management, change management, and release management. The Test Engineer (Mid) is also responsible high performance and large-scale immersive systems. Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products.

The mission of the Lone Wolf Team is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES). The DCIN-TS ES is a DoD provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff.

Provides troubleshooting procedures and documentation of major system events impacting services.

Plans and manages all Voice and Video system patch, upgrades or service updates impacting ongoing operations.
Provides timely response to all system vulnerability updates with clear implementation plans and schedules.

Ability to fully configure and maintain IOS environment for maintaining voice gateways
Ability to independently deploy/maintain server based dial plans, router based dial plans, and the deployment and the management of the following Cisco Servers (VM and traditional platform): -Unified Communications Manager, Unified Contact Center Express, Unity Connection, and Unified Presence
Ability to troubleshoot common VoIP issues to include identifying and correcting issues with endpoints, trunks, dial plans, and profiles.

Leads UC team for all ticket resolution for voice and video end-users, coordinating with Cisco TAC and Business Support groups, tracking and escalating trouble tickets, and interfacing with customers at all levels.
Must have experience configuring Cisco routers to act as VoIP gateways and demonstrate a strong understanding of Cisco IOS 12.x/15.x command syntax, troubleshooting end-to-end performance issues associated with voice and video conferences involving IP and ISDN networks.
Must have experience reviewing Ethernet packet captures (e.g. tcp dump, Ethereal, Wireshark), studying network traffic flows and reading interface statistics to identify network connectivity and performance problems affecting Voice and Video over IP communications.

Maintains requisition information for all parts, material, and equipment.

Coordinates alternate solutions with engineering. Maintain historical information concerning trends for late deliveries from vendors to influence future purchase options.
Classifies, rates, routes, traces, selects carriers and transportation modes, and expedites inbound and outbound shipments in the most economical manner commensurate with delivery requirements. Arrange for transportation and handling of special or unusual items. Initiate and follow-up on claims for shipping damage. May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to facilitate the delivery of material to offsite locations using appropriately sized commercial vehicles.
Manages reporting of Government property on contract to include, CAP, Monthly, and Annual Inventory reporting.

This opportunity will provide technical leadership and systems engineering and integration support to the Systems Planning and Technical Leadership Branch/(EV71) in support of the Space Launch System (SLS) Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) Element and the EUS Lead Systems Engineer (ELSE). The candidate chosen for this position will serve as the technical manager for the development of EUS requirements, verification planning, and system analysis efforts. The EUS Alt. LSE will work closely with the EUS Chief Engineer (CE), the EUS engineering Discipline Lead Engineers (DLEs), and the engineering branch management to define, prioritize, and direct critical systems level engineering work.
The successful candidate will assist the EUS ELSE by leading the EUS Element team, coordinate with the EUS Prime Contractor, represent the EUS Office EUSO ELSE in SLS integrated vehicle level meetings, report to EUS management, and support data deliveries. The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. Responsibilities:
Prepare hardware deployment site installation plans.
Perform site surveys to assess and document the current state and document in detail the proposed site network design/architecture based on mission requirements, specifications, and customer needs. This will include detailed diagrams (i.e. floor plans, cabling diagrams, rack elevations, logical network diagrams and the like) for planning and documentation purposes.
Create installation diagrams/requirements for the following devices: KG-175 TACLANE encryption devices; Cisco routers; switches; VoIP phones and VTC devices; rack elevations; servers; UPS units; network printers, scanners, digital senders, workstations, cabling/wiring suggestions, and all associated desktop peripherals.
Develop Bill of Material (BOM) for the procurement of equipment.
Maintain operational knowledge of program's equipment catalog and projected changes.
Coordinate with change management team (testing, lifecycle, and procurement) to ensure current equipment lists.
Coordinate with Customer Project Managers (CPMs), administrative and technical program support staff, and customers.
Review mission scope-of-work requirements and technical design packages.
Assist with integration of network infrastructure hardware components, including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, and management of the enterprise LAN/WAN.
Update and complete support tickets and post installation close-out documents/designs.
Perform as contributor with knowledge and experience in local and wide area networking, communications, and related software/hardware within a secure, multi-platform operating environment.
Provide support to a large and diverse customer base as a member of a complex team comprised of contractors and government personnel.

5 or more years of experience
DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification: Network+ CE certification or equivalent.
Proficiency with MS Office365 tools, specifically Visio.
Familiarity with modern technological developments and applications to help evaluate new products and make informed recommendations to replace or improve upon the current baseline.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, be a team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Must possess sound critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills
Ability to travel up to 75% which may include occasional multi-day travel outside the NCR as required. Personal vehicle use may be required and must have a valid driver's license.

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Offthe-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
