This Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of internal and external customer experience requirements, and in some cases, delivery of a formal report out to the R&R leadership. As an owner of this process, the candidate will consistently capture key data points gathered to generate and monitor metrics, while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the return transportation process. They will work with stakeholders across the R&R organization to identify root causes, ensure SLA's are being met, and submit changes to business teams and 1P/3P returns partners as needed, to raise the bar in returns transportation. They will leverage the captured data to promote policy changes and to provide deep dives into key areas of opportunity.

Support and influence Safety processes within returns transportation.
Analyze and monitor network fluidity and optimization.
Review, monitor, and report relevant KPI's to internal and external partners.
Support tasks driving continuous improvement of returns transportation carriers in NA marketplace.

Description
The Data Center Infrastructure Reliability and Quality (IRQ) Team owns the Quality and Reliability of critical infrastructure equipment for the lifecycle of equipment. This includes leading Design for Reliability (DFR) and Design for quality (DFQ) effort for AWS Infra New Product Development (NPD), supporting/sustaining the existing AWS critical infra equipment fleet by identifying systemic equipment issues, driving root cause analysis (RCA) corrective action to mitigate the risk in the AWS fleet.
As a Reliability and Quality Portfolio Manager, you should be an exceptionally strong communicator, both written and verbally. You will lead multi-discipline and highly technical program teams. You should have experience of driving quality and reliability initiatives in a complex engineering environment and will have worked as a technical project manager on increasingly complex projects. Your experience includes data center infrastructure technologies including HVAC, power distribution systems, security devices and controls. You will generate and maintain enhanced reporting, meaningful KPIs, and process/automation improvements to ensure team efficiency and visibility of the portfolio efforts to critical stakeholders and leadership.
You will partner with other engineering teams, purchasing team and project execution/delivery teams regularly. You will make strategic decisions regarding specific projects and overall program direction. You will be capable of connecting long-term strategies with rapid growth patterns of AWS, as well as guide specific operational needs of the business.
You must be adept at identifying and communicating upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks as well as be instrumental in resolving those issues, often cross multiple departmental boundaries to achieve your goal. Interface with Quality and Reliability Engineering teams and their partners to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in work-products delivered. Standardize inputs/outputs globally.
Sync with TPMs and Product Managers to align on NPD (New Product Development) reliability and quality deliverables to major programs milestones
Work with Reliability and Quality engineers and develop technical reliability and quality evaluation plan for product portfolios (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical)
Work with external partners (e.g. reliability labs, OEMs, CMFs) and facilitate reliability testing, qualification, analysis.
Work with internal team to estimate budget requirement for each project and work with NPD team to allocate requirements.
Manage project timeline and bi-weekly report progress to internal executive leadership and key partners
Drive internal team members and identify and remove road blocks for product qualification
Owning product reliability/quality readiness at each NPD gate
Owning supplier readiness for NPDs.
Project manage the Field Engineering portfolio for multiple disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.
Create strong end-to-end team processes/mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Reliability Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in managing and driving projects at high pace environment.
4+ cumulative years of experience in a supplier-facing quality or reliability management role

In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
Our Operation's workflow has three major components: First mile - where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile - where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile - when the product is delivered to the customer's door. The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for Customer Practice Managers (CPM) who can lead customer programs that accelerate business outcomes.
