The Opportunity:

CACI needs a hard-charging and creative electrical engineer or control systems engineer to be a subject matter expert for critical infrastructure and Industrial Control System (ICS) projects. Primary responsibility will be to architect Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Emulation environments that will include hardware-in-the-loop such as SCADA systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other control systems. Will actively test and operate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) in actual and/or virtual environments within anechoic facilities, laboratories, and at times austere locations to measure the success or failure of newly developed security solutions. Participate in planning events, meetings and conferences; produce comprehensive after-action reports (AAR); brief and provide technical guidance and expertise to military and government leadership on mission related objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the fundamentals of Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems (OT/ICS). Firm understanding of communications protocols and OT/ICS network architecture.

• Knowledge of a wide range of communications concepts, principles, and practices to accomplish work processes using telecommunications devices, methods, services, and facilities. Work encompasses complex and uncommon interfaces and policies and practices; sources of technical data to evaluate new devices, proposals, and approaches.

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.

• Researches problems discovered by quality assurance or product support and develops solutions to the problems.

• Documents engineering work as input for company collateral and patent requirements.

• Collaborates with technical writers to create customer-relevant documentation.

• Coordinates with project work teams to ensure adherence to policies, achievement of quality targets and delivery on schedule milestones and works with engineering and management team to collectively meet market requirements.

• Establishes and maintains inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, and three to five years of related work experience.

• Experience as a Program or Project manager on a small effort requiring independent dependent decision-making in the context of process adherence and rigor

• Experience working with ICS/OT systems.

• Cybersecurity experience.

• Basic understanding of wired and wireless communications: IoT/IIoT, ICS/SCADA, Cellular (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE), PSTN, 802.1X protocols, satellite, Digital Mobile Radio networks, LAN/WLAN, Core Routers, Layer 2 Switches, IP & MAC addresses, OSI Layers.

• Proficiency with the MATLAB/Simulink family of products

• Familiarity with Real-Time Simulators.

Desired:

• Security+, Linux+, Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are desirable.

• An understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus.

• Familiarity with control and communications systems utilized in freight rail systems.

CACI is looking for a Journeyman Network & Systems Engineer in support to the SOUTHCOM customer in Doral, Florida.

The Network & Systems Engineer will be responsible for engineering, planning, installing, troubleshooting, and executing changes to highly available network infrastructure with minimal impact to 24x7 operations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and technical knowledge both Enterprise and Data Center network. This position is a hands-on technical position and provides technical expertise and leadership for enterprise network infrastructure at customer site. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will require strong interpersonal skills due to continual interaction with managers, clients, and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment.

The Network & Systems Engineer will be responsible for working with a team of network engineers, system administrators and voice engineers in support of a geographically dispersed regional network. The SRNE will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all networks, consisting of primarily Cisco routers and switches, with support for other vendors (e.g. KLAS, DTech, etc.) products. This team will be responsible for maintaining all layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching and The SRNE will be involved with the design of complex routing and switching schemes to support Control Cryptographic HAIPE devices.

Additionally, the Network & Systems Engineer will perform site surveys, configuration and engineering, installation planning and documentation services for the customer as they relate to network services. They will be responsible for analyzing network protocols, routing standards and procedures, traffic patterns and data flow, and providing equipment implementation and upgrade recommendations. As well as provide project support services for infrastructure, ADP systems, and Network/Server Support Facility enhancement.

• Support all enterprise NOSC services, to include Security Development Operations (DevSecOps) services, defensive cyber operations, configuration management, software library, scan and compliance tools, network common operational picture, Tier 3 CSSP, Tier 1 call center/service desk, firewall O&M, monitoring solution, and log management solutions.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting/CE/NE support to all IT systems throughout the Headquarters.

CACI is looking for an experienced Service Desk Lead in support of SOUTHCOM, a Department of Defense (DoD) organization located in Doral, Florida.

As the Service Desk Lead at this location, you will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting all switching and routing devices, firewalls, load balancers, alarmed carrier devices, uninterruptable power supplies, in-line network encryption devices, etc. Configure devices in accordance with security policies. Develop and maintain IP address schemes for all assigned networks, and annually review and update the Master IP Routing Schema. Manage circuit provisioning throughout the delivery life cycle. Install and test circuit and base extensions and coordinate with external entities and the Government leads for end-to-end testing and activation. Monitor capacity and utilization. Provide trending and capacity planning services to analyze and plan for efficient utilization and management of the network. Troubleshoot and correct all detected or reported network faults or outages. Provide assistance via remote access, phone, or in person. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with network hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity. They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources. • Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable.

• Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers.

• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Nonrepudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms (e.g., Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability); and Security Mechanism Technology (Passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.)

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph required

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a systems engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required for a Systems Engineer II.

• Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and/or evaluates hardware, software and other network related problems; provide technical expertise for performance and/or configuration of the global networks and systems.

• Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration.

• Schedules conversions and cutover.

• Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.

• Responsible for monitoring, tracking and evaluating global Information Technology Infrastructure (ITI) incidents.

• Deliver Language Training :

• Teach ISO-Immersions and supplement instruction with contemporary authentic material.

• Collaborative Work:

• Technology Integration:

• Employ basic classroom technology, including audio/video/DVD components and computer applications like Microsoft Office.

- Feedback and Assessmen t :

• Provide constructive feedback on student progress to the Government.

Qualifications:

• Clearance : Ability to pass security vetting.

• Education/Experience :

• B.A./B.S. from an accredited college or university.

• Language Proficiency :

• Native speakers: Minimum ILR proficiency level 2 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English and ILR proficiency level 4 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in your native language.

• Native English speakers: Minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in the target language and ILR 4 in English.

• Proficiency levels must be documented within the last 3 years.

• Teaching Experience : Five years of experience in teaching adult language education and methodology.
