CACI is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support our intelligence customer in St Louis, MO/Springfield, VA. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services. HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customer's technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and Maintain Platform as a Service Offering using RedHat OpenShift
Work with A&A Team to maintain security requirements for operation of systems.
Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc)
Produce detailed documentation.
Maintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS
Maintain System in a VMware vSphere environment, using NSX, and NetApp Storage GRID
Automate and optimize service deployments.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
3+ years IT experience
3+ years experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Skills:
Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud based providers
Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions
Strong understanding of RedHat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Strong Troubleshooting skills
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus
Strong communication skills

Accountable for the performance of service desk technicians on designated shift, managing staff schedules to ensure coverage for ongoing operations and surge events while meeting all performance requirements
Leverage technical background to guide troubleshooting and incident management of technicians as necessary
Interface with customers and other vendors for communicating status of operations, resolving escalations and complex issues in a timely and efficient manner acting as an escalation point for Service Desk Operations
Communicate in a timely manner, any customer or technical issues adversely impacting Service Desk operations.
Daily supervision of ~15 Service Desk agents, providing mentoring and coaching ensuring performance is maintained and service levels achieved
Ensure compliance with security procedures for data handling, participate in planning sessions for process improvement
Qualifications:
US Citizenship required.
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be successfully in obtain to a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance and pass all relevant background checks for a security clearance. Active DoD clearance preferred, but not required.
6-10 years' experience required. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience.

The technician is responsible for the installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of voice, video, and data consisting of copper and fiber-optic cabling for inside and outside cable plants. The Structured Cabling Technician is expected to work as part of a team and adhere to proper customer and DOD/ICD installation guidelines. Maintain compliance with Quality Assurance standards as well as ensuring service performance indicators are met or exceeded.

Must have the ability to install, terminate & test low voltage cables & fiber optical cables. Strong understanding of low-voltage infrastructure and related services.
Installation from outlets to distribution point, pulling cable, fire stopping, and pre-termination including organizing, forming, dressing, and labeling cables to industry and DOD standards
Perform work in renovations and new construction environments and implement cut-over.
Update documentation of all network cabling configuration upgrades, additions, or revisions after implementation.

CACI is looking for a Senior Linux Systems Engineer who will work within corporate IT to support project teams in constructing secure and compliant environments for research, development, and customer facing initiatives. This position will work with project teams, Cyber, Networking, and Systems Engineering to provide a foundation for work across programs using a mix of on-prem and cloud-based technologies. It is an opportunity to work with a strong senior level engineering team and to affect the way that we deliver customer facing solutions.
As a member of the Systems Engineering team, you will do the following:
Support Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux and related systems
Leverage Ansible management/patching system to manage Linux systems
Leverage Centrify for authentication services
Perform Splunk analysis and dashboarding
Work with project teams to determine and remediate gaps in current offerings
Work with other teams to help resolve complex issues with systems that you do and do not manage
Work with Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
Dell servers and workstations
Scripting/kickstart/Python
Red Hat Satellite
Ubuntu Landscape
Ansible
Centrify
WinMagic SecureDoc
More About the Role:
You will be part of a senior level engineering team that is responsible for helping project teams design, build, and secure internal and customer facing development and production environments.
Once training is complete, this role will be hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Up to 25% travel mostly around the Nothern, VA area.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree orequivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related technical Linux work experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong understanding of Linux security, system baselining/hardening, Linux endpoint security
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
An understanding of Cloud and Virtualization technologies: Amazon AW, Microsoft Azure, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper V, OpenStack, Acropolis
Ability to communicate/collaborate well with other engineer support staff, and management both inside and outside or your immediate team
Ability to work well within a team including both leading and following
Willingness to share knowledge/information openly and to learn from other team members
Willingness to bring forth new ideas and to constructively challenge the status quo
Ability to create documentation for users and support teams
Engage vendors when necessary to resolve issues
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Industry certification in any of the technologies listed above
Secret or Top-Secret level security clearance
Experience supporting IT infrastructure in large environments
Experience working in a zero trust network
Experience building highly secured Linux workstations
Experience supporting DevOps

What you'll get to do:

Qualifications you'll bring:

Qualifications that are nice to have:

You'll Bring These Qualifications
An experienced or credentialed level candidate is someone with recent experience as a background investigator on DCSA/OPM.

Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics
Bilingual (English/Spanish) with recent DHS experience would be a plus.
A Bachelor's Degree or four years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem-solving, planning and organizing work, and communicating effectively orally and in writing.
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance based on a T5 Investigation
Ability to maintain a favorable determination based on T5 Investigation
A sense of mission in support of national security initiatives

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as driving is essential to this position. May use public transportation if available, practical, and approved by management. Must be willing to travel locally daily, depending on assignment location extensively.
