CACI is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support our intelligence customer in St Louis, MO/Springfield, VA. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services. HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customer's technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain Platform as a Service Offering using RedHat OpenShift

• Work with A&A Team to maintain security requirements for operation of systems.

• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc)

• Produce detailed documentation.

• Maintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS

• Maintain System in a VMware vSphere environment, using NSX, and NetApp Storage GRID

• Automate and optimize service deployments.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

• 3+ years IT experience

• 3+ years experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Skills:

• Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud based providers

• Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions

• Strong understanding of RedHat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)

• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services

• Strong Troubleshooting skills

• Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl

In this role, we're seeking a Cybersecurity Countermeasures Developer who could potentially be located in either Springfield, VA or Saint Louis, MO .

Reporting to the Lead of Focused Operations, under the Branch Chief of Defensive Cyber Operations, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining defensive countermeasures for the enterprise. Working within a Fusion model will collaborate with other teams within Focused Operations with the distinct task of proactively preventing a successful compromise and eradicating persistent adversaries already in the enterprise. This will be done through various means such as: reviewing future and past intelligence reports, reviewing incident reports, through regular Purple Teaming exercises, and continuously validating Defensive Countermeasures already deployed.

• Analyzes trends and patterns of data on NGA networks to identify and predict previously undiscovered events and incidents, and develop or tune rules/signatures/scripts as needed;

What You'll Get to Do :

As technical expert with complete latitude in day-to-day decision-making, performs systems engineering required for operations, sustainment, and maintenance of the Software/Hardware application in LTRS environments, IAW with USSF, SSC, SLD 30, SLD 45 and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices.

• Supports development of test plans, conducts integration testing, and certifies solutions for introduction into the production environment.

• Develops and updates system documentation, work, and engineering plans, BOMs, estimates, site integration technical design packages, configuration documents, and other procedures and reports, as well as templates for deliverable artifacts, forms, and checklists.

More About this Role :

This is a telework position as permanent office space at VSFB is not available. Since the position can be worked in more than one location, the rate shown is the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors. The actual rate will be based on contract, location and job classification.
