The Opportunity:
CACI seeks a Government Property and Inventory Specialist in support of the Navy's nextgeneration SIGINT, EMW, and IO systems. The position will be responsible for the overall tracking of all government property throughout its lifecycle in accordance with CACI policies and Federal acquisition Regulations and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Leadership of program inventory control including overseeing shipping and receiving, inventory management and control.
Administer inventory transactions in accordance with CACI standards, plans and policies.
Process packages in shipping and receiving and communicate as needed with outside sources (UPS/Fedex).
Oversee and resolve all inventory issues affecting finance and audit, and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, program, and customer objectives.
As inventory subject matter expert, recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall functional results.
Coordinates Government Property control activities to ensure continual accountability in accordance with government regulations and CACI policy.
Provides leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in inventory administration.
Implements policies and procedure revisions based on continuous interactions with Corporate and Shared Service Center Leadership.
Provides regular reporting to leadership on KPIs and inventory issues.
Responsible for establishing and implementing short- and long-term department objectives consistent with organizational strategy.
Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation of the department.
Must be able to work onsite in Manassas daily.
Partner with Quality Assurance when receiving government property.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associates/bachelor's degree
5-8 years of related experience.
Experience managing government furnished equipment, specifically using AssetSmart.
Active Secret clearance
Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to work on multiple priorities at once.
Ability to navigate and utilize Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
Must possess a strong customer service orientation and provide dedicated support of internal customers' requirements.
Solid understanding of government property regulations, you'll administer property control program activities to ensure accountability of company and/or government property in accordance with applicable company policy and government regulations.
Desired:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience with Infor's LN Material Resource Planning (MRP) system.
Familiarity with Federal Programs and Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations.
Knowledge of project-based planning is preferred.
