Job Summary :
Caterpillar Switchgear, part of the Electric Power Division, currently has an opening for a Software HMI Engineer located in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will design, modify, develop, write, and implement software-programming for generator control switchgear human machine interface applications. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
What You Will Do:
Modify template HMI programs to coincide with project-specific PLC programs.
Modify Operator Manuals to reflect project specific HMI screens.
Configure industrial computers with software and HMI project.
Provide HMI Engineering/Technical support to Production, Helpdesk, Field Service and Aftermarket
Support various HMI packages such as FactoryTalk, Vijeo, iFix and GE
Will participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of the HMI software.
Will assist the Product Support Department with troubleshooting field HMI projects / remote PC configurations etc.
Will remain up to date with industry changes, directions and improvements regarding HMI and Network infrastructure.

Follows up-to-date regulatory requirements, industry best practices, trends and business requirements.
Providing solutions and support for large and complex underwriting risk evaluation processes in a given line of business.
Mentoring and guiding less experienced underwriters in handling underwriting issues; developing and delivering corresponding training according to departmental needs.
Advising on the monitoring of loss experience and business conditions of key accounts as well as loss trends and any relevant legal or economic factors affecting a given line of business.

What You Will Do:
Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Clayton Distribution Center located at 6300 Kimmel Road, Clayton, OH 45315.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.

The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Stores Controller . In this role you will be responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption. One of the primary areas of focus for the Stores Controller will be ordering parts for the assembly lines and moving material to the assembly line via stand-up fork truck. The Stores Controller will also be responsible for parts labels, maintaining inventory accuracy, and computer system input of orders and interplant material movement. As a Senior Manufacturing Support - Trouble Shooter in Clayton, NC you will support current product production through the testing and repair of BCP machines according to the specifications from Engineering, Tests and validate production machines according to Engineering protocols. You will perform various activities to test for proper operation and quality issues of BCP machines, performing necessary rework and repair when issues are found. May coordinate CSD compliance through coordination of offline WIP activity and other duties as assigned.

The Caterpillar Assembly Pre-Apprenticeship program is a year and a half program that prepares high school students for employment specifically at the Caterpillar plant located in Clayton, North Carolina. Eligible high school students will take manufacturing related classes at Johnson Community College three days a week during their junior year spring semester and work/train at Caterpillar starting the following summer. Caterpillar compensates enrolled students for their time spent working at Caterpillar during the summer (up to 32 hours per week) leading into their senior year and during their senior year (minimum of 16 hours per week). At the completion of the program, successful graduates will have earned 10 free credit hours from Johnson Community College and a certificate from the North Carolina Community College System.

As a Product Assembler, you will work to assemble/test parts, components, or systems for BCP machines according to the specified work orders. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties
Use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs
Rotation to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities
Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect-free assembly and adjustment of components and prime product
Perform other related work duties as assigned
Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work

What you will do:
Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine blocks, ensuring engines are free of defects and operate efficiently
Conduct special engineering tests and customer witness tests, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and reliability
Perform harnessing, testing, and post-test assembly of diesel engines, following established work instructions and production goals
Accurately document work performed, including inspection, installation, maintenance, and repairs of diesel engines within the test stand
Collaborate with project teams to complete assigned testing in a timely and efficient manner
Proactively identify and resolve mechanical or control issues during the testing process
Install and remove engine parts as needed, ensuring compliance with quality control protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and promoting best practices throughout the facility
Submit and assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
Communicate with supervisors and managers about processes within the assigned area
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production goals
What you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a machining or manufacturing environment or experience testing engines' functionalities or industry certification/degree
Knowledge of engine operation and emission controls equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with electronic standard work or standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfort working in cross-functional teams and contributing to problem-solving

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience assembling and/or testing diesel engines

About the Role:
PSLD's Maintenance Components business is seeking a part-time intern to work in our Mossville facility. This role is ideal for currently enrolled in a four-year university to work alongside engineering professionals to learn and apply themselves. The intern will have an opportunity for project work within their teams.
This intern will have assignments that provide them with experience and significant learning opportunities. In addition to this work, interns can network with management throughout the company to learn about Caterpillar areas outside their assigned team. Students can deepen their business skills in their assignments through team and business partner interactions, develop their skills, conduct presentations, and measure their success through the performance and evaluation process.
What You Will Do:
The intern will join a team with diverse project responsibilities and have valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar employees. The internship assignment would work up to 32-hour-per-week assignment lasting 28 weeks (January 6, 2025 - July 27, 2025).
The intern will have the opportunity to support the engineering team in development, testing and validation activities for hose and coupling that are used on Caterpillar equipment. The internship will mainly cover these 3 areas (but can include more depending on business need):

What You Have (Internship Qualifications):
