Overview

Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) is looking for a self-directed and motivated individual to join our team as a senior software developer in support of a DoD program. Primary work location is at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego, CA with additional ability to perform some aspects of the position remotely. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance.

In this role, you will p rovide software engineering support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) Code 551 to fulfill PMA-268 Unmanned Carrier Aviation (UCA) requirements focusing ondeveloping features for the Advanced Networking Tactical System(ANTS) Operational Support System (OSS) network management software. As an ANTS OSS Software Developer, you will build solutions to perfo rm autonomous troubleshooting for on-aircraft in-flight networking and data transport equipment . This includes scripts and/or programs that will ensure the networking hardware is functioning properly and to rectify any failures discovered. The aircraft is the Navy's new unmanned drone, the MQ-25A Stingray , with a primary mission of aerial refueling and a secondary capability to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) all while being launched and recovered from an aircraft carrier.

FTI is currently looking for a Machinery Control System (MCS) Instructor to provide support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and the Logistics Product Support Management Branch (Code 311) on Gas Turbine engine systems, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance inSan Diego, CA. The MCS Instructor will deliver training to the ship's Engineering Department personnel and have experience across all versions of the U.S. Navy CG and/or DDG ship classes. The candidate should have a strong background as a US Navy Instructor and prior experience as an Engineering Control System Equipment (ECSE) Electrical Operator and Maintenance Technician, Gas Turbine (Electrical) Repair Technician, or Gas Turbine (Electrical) Repair Technician. Qualifications for each position include:

Product Designer / Web and Mobile Application UI/UX Developer

• Must Be US Citizens and able to be cleared with a Public Trust or Secret US Government Clearance.

• Prefer a Bachelor's degree or at least Associates degree and progress toward Bachelor's degree

• Experience developing/deploying ReactJS, Django, and PostgreSQL

• Experience administering web environments to maintain optimum operations and user satisfaction, and to prevent sprawl, redundancies, and mis-communications;

• Experience implementing new or custom web components to successful operation including sites, web parts, content types, etc.;

Graphic Designer

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a government security

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related fields

• 10+ years of experience

• Experience adjusting and enhancing content - designing graphical images, using existing images, the graphical layout, color, placement of branding, and the text itself - to ensure high comprehension and a favorable impression by the consumer;

• Experience working effectively to manage multiple parallel and different types of projects;

• Advanced proficiency with tools and services used to create, manage and publish the design objects and products.
