Education Qualifications:

• You will be responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

• Duties will include but are not limited to: CPR, wound care including irrigation and dressing, splinting and immobilization of bone injuries, suctioning of patients, performing EKG's, POC testing, obtaining non-invasive specimen swabs such as throat cultures, crutch fitting, ambulation education, suture removal, transporting of patients between departments, providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing record keeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Completion of EMT or, NAR or, LPN or, Medical Assistant program or BSN student who has completed at least 3 years of schooling, or must be licensed in respective area (EMT, NAR, LPN, CMA) upon initial hire. - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (new hires must obtain within 1 month of hire)- LPN licensure in state of MN ( only required if an LPN)- Nursing Assistant hired into role will need to complete ER Tech residency or EMT program within 6 months of start date.

• Completes de-escalation training within 5 months of hire if no previous de-escalation training or has not had a de-escalation training/refresher within past 3 calendar years.

The Pharmacy Manager will be required to demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to develop and manage relationships and communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. Strong customer service will be essential. Performs supervisory and management activities consistent with the expectations of Essentia Health and the Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Serves as the Pharmacist In Charge/Managing Pharmacist per Board of Pharmacy requirements. Participates in and oversees all duties associated with providing quality pharmaceutical services, including the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions. Will also participate in clinical initiatives and assist in all aspects of the daily pharmacy department activities, including training of new staff and pharmacy students, supervision of pharmacy technicians and interns, resolution of customer service issues, and other functions necessary for optimal pharmacy performance.
