What does a Manager-In-Training (MIT) do?

• Check in with customers before they leave the shop to make sure they had a great experience

• Running the floor (making sure each employee is where they need to be, ensuring everything has been checked on each vehicle, and every customer is satisfied before they leave).

• Perform opening and closing procedures.

• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.

• Anyone in Management is always responsible for training and developing their subordinates.

• Being a role model to the other employees in the shop.

• Holding team members accountable.

MITs are also expected to perform all technician duties including but not limited to:

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings

• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure

• Inspect and top off fluids

• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services

• Process payment for services performed.

• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services

Emissions Inspector Position Overview:

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for entry-level candidates who are interested in starting their automotive career! The Emissions Inspector is responsible for completing state regulated inspections on guest vehicles and informing the guest of any areas of non compliance. - The State Inspector is also expected to perform Lube Technician duties, as assigned by the Store Manager. Lube Technicians ensure that all customer vehicles are serviced properly, company procedures and policies are followed and every customer is treated with the utmost courtesy at all times. What does an Assistant Shop Manager (ASM) do?

• The Assistant Shop Manager role allows you to continue to hone the skills you've built as technician (Approximately 80% of the time) while beginning to learn the skills necessary to lead your shop and become a Shop Manager

- Inform Manager/CSR of issues with glass, vehicle, or installation.

- Inform manager when supplies needed (ie: glass cleaner, urethane, gloves, etc.)

- Installers must personally clock in and out each morning and evening, and for lunch. The only

exception to the lunch clock in/out is for mobile technicians who must call the manager to inform

him/her when taking lunch.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

- Treat all customers with respect.

- Be professional and always wear clean company uniform.

- When out on mobile jobs, you are the face of AutoGlassNow, so perform these jobs to the best of

your abilities.

- Report all issues and concerns to management.

- Resolve customer issues as authorized by management.

- Keep all customers out of work area.

- Consult manager for warranty work without a receipt

TECHNICAL

- Install, repair, and replace glass in automobile panels

- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs

- Wear gloves and goggles at all times when working

- Keep a clean and safe work space

- Follow glass installation and adhesive application manufacturer's instruction manual

- Remain up-to-date on industry standards of safety techniques and procedures

- Check for all correct parts and materials are in stock before starting work on any vehicle

- For mobile techs, make sure you have all correct parts and materials for each job prior to leaving

the shop.

- Examine all surfaces for contamination

- Know your work - glass, bonding materials, molding, specialty windshields, tools, etc.

- Vacuum excess glass from customer vehicles when necessary. Advise customer that while AGN

tried to vacuum as much glass as possible, customer should take caution and seek professional

detailing to ensure that all glass is thoroughly cleaned up.

Experienced glass technicians, lead techs, & AGSC certified installers can join our team right away making up to $35 per hour base pay while earning additional $$$$ for each completed job.

While we only offer sign-on bonuses to experienced techs, some of our most successful glass techs joined the team as trainees with no experience at all, but were once lube technicians, construction workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other trade workers!

PAID TRAINING AVAILABLE!

We will train you how to professionally install automotive windshields and become a lead glass installer within 90 days. During this time you will earn an hourly pay rate of $20/hr and after training you will make full rate plus daily bonuses for completed jobs!

We will also help you earn your nationally accredited glass technician certification with the Auto Glass Safety Council. All you need to do is be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop!

As a Driven Brands Auto Glass Technician, your job will be to:

• Install windshields and auto glass in our shop or from a mobile operation unit

• Calibrate vehicle electronics such as ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, etc.

• Repair chips and other glass damage

• Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with a job well done

• Process payments from mobile customers

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

All our Techs and trainees need to meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations

• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning

• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must pass a drug test for safety
