Recruiting Profile

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Team Lead Sample Express to join our TEAM! The Team Lead Samples Express will increase coach and train sample express team, operate forklift equipment and manage samples.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of Sample Express duties, as well as, leads Sample Express Representatives in the performance of their duties.

Major Function and Scope

• Leads Sample Express Warehouse Associates and Sample Express Specialists in the performance of their duties. Trains, coaches, and provides guidance to the team.

• Executes Sample Express duties as needed (refer to duties in Sample Express Warehouse and Sample Express Specialist).

• Operates forklift equipment.

• Completes order management duties for customers and stocks orders.

• Executes warehouse tasks for inventory management and order fulfillment.

• Executes shipping and receiving activities in the warehouse.

• Completes purchasing tasks for vendor material.

• Provides backup support for various customer service duties as needed.

• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High School diploma or equivalent experience; Dal Systems (online, PC, JDE) knowledge; Computer Software knowledge (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes), SSC Operating Procedures; Certified Forklift Operator

3+ years warehouse experience. Supervisor or lead experience preferred.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Sales Representative to join our TEAM! As the Sales Representative , we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as conducting weekly sales calls, reports and market analysis for top accounts in the region.

Primary Objective

Increase market share and sales for the Dal-Tile SBU in the prescribed region/area. Increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling

Major Function and Scope

• Conducts weekly sales calls - includes servicing existing customer as well as cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 cold calls per week).

• Prepares weekly -Sales- and -Call- reports.

• Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares monthly travel calendar based on that strategy.

• Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each area - include top Dealers, top Contractors and top Builders.

• Researches area market product data to determine the types, styles and sizes most commonly purchased in the area to determine sales strategy.

• Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company approved product margin goals.

• Completes -Positive Action Forms- for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack and/or sale.

• Utilizes influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customer's showrooms.

• Conducts client follow-ups via phone calls, letters and/or emails.

• Establishes and maintains client files and performs timely follow up on programs and projects.

• Provides PK seminars to customers.

• Utilizes -On Demand- reporting to achieve sales objectives.

• Performs other duties as required

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma and some college highly preferred. Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email. Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required.

4 years prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus. Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required.

Competencies

Self-motivated with the ability to work under little or no supervision. Must possess proven interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.

As the Customer Service/Warehouse Associate will need someone who is responsible for providing a variety of support such as servicing walk in customers, completing sales transactions conjunction of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position may involve daily use of forklift equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Performs various customer service duties such as: waiting on customers, assisting customers in determining order requirements, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, and accepting payments.

• Addresses and resolves customer complaints (returns and order errors).

• Performs various office administration duties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciliation of DSR's and cash box, preparation of bank deposits, balance petty cash box, prepares various performance reports, updates customer master file and creates vendor orders.

• Performs various product order duties such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders.

• Waits on customers and prepare sales slips.

• Produces daily sales reports.

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

Primary Objective

Responsible for process reliability, accuracy of data reporting and implementation of procedure and process changes.

Major Function and Scope

We're looking for a talented and energetic Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources team in Sunnyvale, Texas. The Human Resources Manager manages all phases of the Human Resources function for the distribution center, working as a business partner to RDC leadership on issues of significant organizational importance. This position is in Sunnyvale, TX . This is not a remote position.

• Advises Management in resolution of employee issues. Responds to employee and management inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Ensures policies, procedures, and programs are in compliance.

• Recruits, interviews, selects, and conducts orientations for associates to fill vacant positions.

• Conducts and/or coordinates management training in human resources skills, performance reviews, and sexual harassment.

• Administers benefits, salary, and performance review programs to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.

• Maintains employee personnel files and records.

• Represents company at employee hearings and investigations.

• Prepares separation notices, related documentation, conducts exit interviews, and produces absenteeism/turnover reports.

• Ensures wage surveys are conducted within local labor market to determine competitive wage rate.

• Prepares Human Resources budget and ensures department operates within budget.

• Contracts with outside suppliers to provide associate services.

• Ensures effective payroll and benefit administration.

Education and Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in HR or related area, or equivalent training and experience which will provide a working knowledge of laws, regulations, practices and procedures in HR. Master's degree strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), HRIS, Kronos , and Success Factors knowledge preferred.

Experience:

Requires 5 or more years Human Resource Generalist experience with a minimum of 2 years at a management level, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
