PAY: $15.74 per hour + $.50 night shift differential
SHIFT: 6pm to 6am
1 st WEEK: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36 hours)
2 nd WEEK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours
Produces and distributes glaze and paste as needed in the production process.
Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
Loads and unloads ball mills.
Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to manager.
Follows standard operating procedures.
Follows and adheres to all Company safety policies and procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience. 1 or more years previous manufacturing/production experience. Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Good math skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Primary Objective:
Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas
Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
Opens crates and inspects product
Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location
Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
Ensures product is placed into accurate location
Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
Labels boxes with packing slip
Loads boxes into conveyor belt
Verifies orders for accuracy
General
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
Follows standard operating and safety procedures
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.
Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Major Functions and Scope:
- Approaches all responsibilities with the mindset that ensures safety is built into every process task, factoring ergonomics, environmental and hazard elimination into the work steps of the team and themselves.
- Understand their ability to directly increase overall product quality and integrity, while ensuring that process and product waste are driven to elimination through their skill and intervention.
- Performing/reviewing product testing results in order to make necessary corrections within the operating parameters to ensure unfired tile maintains integrity to internal specifications.
- Responsible for performing all required thickness deviation checks at the times indicated within the Quality Management System. Also required to make appropriate adjustments if tests show out of compliance results and re-test for verification of a solution.
- Maintains a -continuous improvement- mind set when working on equipment, always looking for a better, safer way, and communicating best practices.
- Responsible for completing daily report detailing safety concerns, quality review and efficiency, as well as equipment maintenance completed throughout shift.
- Working knowledge of powder delivery system and dry color addition system to ensure waste elimination, product integrity and maintaining silica compliance.
- Will follow and record gas readings on dryers, as well as assist in the creation of SOP's and TM's for the press and fast drying department.
- Responsible for organization, cleaning and inventory of all punches, both new and used. Creation of tracking system for wear, as well as identification of new will be expected as well.
- Will be seen as a leader in the department during times when the department Manager is scheduled out of the office.
- Continuously reviewing their respective area for ideas and thoughts that will drive productivity and reduce costs within the organization, and be able to professionally speak to their solution for improvement.
- Conducts scheduled safety audits throughout the department, looking for unsafe conditions or finding a system or manner in which we can improve the quality of work life for our team.
- Responsible for assistance during both scheduled and emergency die changes.
- Will be responsible to fill in at an operator level during call-offs and potentially vacation.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requires 2 or more years operations experience. Daltile level II or III press certification is preferred or 2 years in the ceramic tile industry with a strong background in quality.

Prepares buying group monthly P&L statements.
Maintains files and databases associated with buying group participation.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.
Primary Objective
Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
Major Function and Scope:
Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
Operates forklift equipment.
Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Certified Forklift Operator.
1+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.
