Plant Clean Up
Shift schedule - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Description
Monitors tile entering and exiting the kiln to ensure process is operating efficiently.
Inspects tile for defects.
Records temperature of kiln every hour during shift.
Collects tile samples for lab.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Follows ISO operating procedures and control plan.
Helps maintain a team environment by cooperating and communicating with team.
Ability to maintain a clean work station, conform to all safety and health requirements, and must be able to be at work station at shift change.
Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
Identify and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors
Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
Participate in incident investigation.
Use ergonomic equipment provided
Demonstrate safe work practices.
Performs other related duties as required

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas
Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
Opens crates and inspects product
Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location
Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
Ensures product is placed into accurate location
Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
Labels boxes with packing slip
Loads boxes into conveyor belt
Verifies orders for accuracy
General
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
Follows standard operating and safety procedures
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.
Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Primary Objective
Operates production equipment, monitors production parameters, inspects or tests product for conformance to specifications, records data, and makes decisions on when to adjust the process or contact supervision for guidance.
Major Function and Scope
Operates motor vehicles, other vehicles, equipment, machinery, or power tools as assigned.
Repairs, maintains, and/or monitors the performance and/or operation of equipment, machinery, and /or manufacturing process as assigned to insure proper function and prevent disruption.
Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
May function as a sorter, box assembler, or relief operator for the kiln or automatic sorting equipment.
Conducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
Performs additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements.

Primary Objective

Major Function and Scope
Coordinates with Arch Reps in specific markets & calls on prospective customers including Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors and National Accounts. Requiring sample entry & large project tracking through Sales Force for all accounts including requests by Arch Rep team.
Identifies and establishes relationships with customers & Arch Rep team to support architectural and design firms through samples/tracking, product presentations, pricing requests, e-blasts & value engineer alternates.
Maintains all C&D accounts virtually & determines if an account needs to transition to an Arch Rep that can service the account in person on a regular basis.

Organizes, attends & maintains calendar invites for Market Strategy Meetings & Large Project Tracking Meetings. Feeds leads through Construct Connect Insight to Arch Rep team once specifier is awarded job.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional local Truck Driver to join our TEAM! As the Truck Driver we need someone who can deliver customer orders. This position involves daily use of forklift and/or crane forklift equipment.
Primary Objective:
Delivers customer orders and supports warehouse function in conjunction with delivery activities.
Major Function and Scope
Delivers and unloads product orders at designated SSC's, customers and job sites.
Processes delivery paperwork and COD payments.
Maintains driving record truck log.
Ensures routine truck maintenance is performed.
Performs necessary warehouse tasks in conjunction with deliveries such as pulling/assembling orders and loading delivery truck.
Provides assistance to warehouse staff in performing normal warehouse duties such as unloading and storing of inbound material and shipping tasks.
Operates forklift equipment.
May take and enter customer orders as needed.
Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
HS diploma or equivalent experience; CDL preferred (Commercial Driver's License); must be a Certified Forklift Operator.
1+ years previous truck driving experience preferred.
Good driving skills; customer service skills, math skills, safety conscious.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Manufacturing Machine Operator, we need someone t o operate production equipment, monitor production parameters and make decisions on when to adjust the process.
Primary Objective
Operates production equipment, monitors production parameters, inspects or tests product for conformance to specifications, records data, and makes decisions on when to adjust the process or contact supervision for guidance.
Major Function and Scope
Operates motor vehicles, other vehicles, equipment, machinery, or power tools as assigned.
Repairs, maintains, and/or monitors the performance and/or operation of equipment, machinery, and /or manufacturing process as assigned to insure proper function and prevent disruption.
Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
May function as a sorter, box assembler, or relief operator for the kiln or automatic sorting equipment.
Conducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
Performs additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements.
Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
1 year Manufacturing experience preferred.
Competencies
Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection. Good oral communications skills. Good listening skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English
