Overview

The Real Estate Lending Data Solutions team is located within the Technology Branch of Navy Federal's Real Estate Lending department. Data Solutions is responsible for providing and governing data for Division and Enterprise use. The team is responsible for the continuity of ETL (Extract Transform and Load) automation from a variety of source and systems of record, both on premise and cloud. Data is warehoused and maintained in a high availability data environment (SQL) and is consumed by partners throughout Real Estate Lending and the Enterprise.

The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into Navy Federal's Real Estate business, technology, and procedures while providing support in the world of data. This role will also interact with multiple departments in accomplishment of their assignments and provide professional execution of day-to-day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects

  • Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization

  • Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments

  • Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority

  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support

  • Provide support in functional areas of the credit union

  • May provide direct member service in high volume situations

  • Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Overview

To plan and manage instructional design projects and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization. Develop instructional courses tailored to meet the desired learning outcomes and needs of Navy Federal and the learners. Collaborate to implement strategies for educating and training employees to achieve higher levels of performance. Utilize a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content and strategies. Create curricula by quickly and efficiently learning/processing large volumes of information and by conducting research on subject matter. Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist trainers on course evaluation results

  • Collaborate with others to plan and design courses and curricula; ensure accuracy of content and test multimedia elements

  • Create and edit new LMS learning activities; set up required training assignments in LMS; create custom LMS reports

Overview

AVP of Cognitive Engineering Services serves as a key member of the Enterprise Data and Information Management (EDIM) leadership team, providing strategic vision and leadership for NFCUs data science, advanced analytics and applied artificial intelligence technologies. Oversee and direct a team of Cognitive Services engineers to develop and deliver generative and adaptive data science technologies. Provide forward-looking, industry perspective and research emerging technologies in the Cognitive Sciences domain and implementing full lifecycle processes for technology roadmap development, architecture fit, technology infusion, adoption, and operational governance. The incumbent will partner with cross functional teams to define appropriate business use cases for Cognitive AI/ML/NLP capabilities and transition them from incubation into mainstream production deployment and adoption across NFCU.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business, technology product, and engineering leaders to develop strategic direction and goals to continuously evolve NFCUs Cognitive AI and Machine Learning platforms and capabilities.

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors and professional services firms specializing in advanced analytics, generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning and advanced data management technologies.

  • Serve as technical leader for the Cognitive Engineering Services division, implementing best engineering practices (coding standards, automated testing, scalability) and growing the technical capabilities of the team.

  • Build core engineering competencies in GPT algorithms, data ingestion for Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering and NLP/Chatbot interface construction.

Overview

To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by Navy Federal Credit Union including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.

  • Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans

  • Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications

  • Counsel current and prospective members about Navy Federal's products and services

  • Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly

  • Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration

  • Perform platform banking functions

  • Assist level I team members

  • Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services

  • May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian

  • Effective skill building effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact

  • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
