The Identity Systems Engineer is a technical resource with intermediate or master level skills in the architecture, design, configuration, and management of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.

  • Hands-on experience designing and managing a multi-site, multi-domain Active Directory infrastructure - including expert-level knowledge of Group Policy Objects and their configuration. As evidenced by at least 1 current certification (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert with a focus on server infrastructure) or the equivalent experience and training

  • Solid experience with design and implementation of advanced server infrastructure with skills in High Availability, Diagnostics, Capacity Management and Performance Tuning

  • Implementation of SAML/OIDC authentication for 3rd party applications via ADFS, Entra SSO, & Strata Maverics

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with designing, planning, implementing and administering Active Directory including:

  • Designing, Planning and Implementing Sites and Subnets

  • Monitoring Active Directory Replication and tools used

  • Planning a Domain Controller and Global Catalog Strategy

  • Monitoring backup and restore of Active Directory

  • In depth experience with design, planning and implementation of GPO's

  • Preferred experience in designing, planning, implementing and administering other Identity infrastructure including:

  • Active Directory Federation Services

  • Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory)

  • Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD-LDS)

  • Strata (Maverics) Identity Orchestration

  • Microsoft Enterprise PKI

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting techniques
