You would be joining a digital health team that has a global impact.
The Manuals' internal editorial team collaborates with over 400 leading academic external authors and editors to provide high quality medical information to professionals and patients. The Manuals, a trusted resource since 1899, is now an innovative digital platform delivered on the web, mobile apps, and through electronic health record integrations to reach a global audience. The Manuals provide free access to medical content translated into 14 languages and are viewed by more than 1 billion users each year.
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience and demonstrated writing skills are mandatory. Current clinical activity and experience in an academic medical institution is preferred. Experience with interactive digital clinical tools, and social media is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organization, communication, collaboration skills.
Position Description
Physician Editors maintain and improve Professional and Consumer versions of our company's Manuals and related content. Physician Editors are part of an editorial team that consists of other Physician Editors, Staff Editors, and a Marketing Team.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
Edit and write professional and consumer versions of our company's Manuals chapters to ensure completeness, accuracy, currency, style consistency, and clinical relevance.
Collaborate with external contributors and internal staff editors and physician editors to ensure content quality and meet editorial workflow goals.
Participate in additional company Manuals projects as directed by management.
Help identify, develop, and review digital content for the Manuals, such as videos, images, quizzes, cases, and other enhanced content.
Work with the Manuals' marketing and awareness team to develop and review social media campaigns and content, editorials, and other content, as needed.
Assist in the development and training of staff editors if needed.
Participate in appropriate professional of our company's. activities.
Participate in promotional activities (eg, trade shows) for The Manuals.
Remain clinically astute and well informed.
Qualifications and Experience
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required Experience and Skills
At least five years of clinical experience, preferably in an academic medical institution.
Demonstrated skills in writing and editing medical content.
Experience in teaching medical subjects.
Desired Experience and Skills -
In current clinical practice.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Familiarity with digital publication and social media.
Demonstrated ability to write on medical subjects for a lay audience.
Experience in writing test questions for medical professionals.

The Associate Director Market Access for a prescription medicine , will work closely with agency partners, internal brand colleagues, promotions, internal communications, pricing, policy, legal, health economics outcomes research, and Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement teams to develop strategies to support current indications and launch future indications. This role will report to the Director, Oncology Market Access.
The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting tactical execution and development of brand and market access strategy in collaboration with internal functions (Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Marketing, Integrated Account Management Teams, Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE), Medical Affairs, HHDDA, etc.), with focus on customer segments including health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, federal, pharmacy, hospital and Group Purchasing Organizations, among others.
Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with our Company's internal functions (promotions, communications, medical affairs, brand marketing, data and analytics teams, etc.) and external agency partners to develop customer specific strategies and execute as appropriate to achieve access for patients and achieve business growth.
Develop comprehensive payer/market access strategies in alignment with the brand strategy and execute across relevant Company teams.
Input into the development and execution of payer value propositions, channel specific materials and branded promotional initiatives.
Main point responsible and accountable for resource support, on-going planning around messaging, and communications for field facing teams at our Company (e.g. IAM, Key Accounts, etc.)
Work with IAM and HHDDA data and analytics team to conduct analysis across multiple data sources and build out dashboards and visualizations
Support brand team and provide market access point of view during L3, QBR process and across various patient support initiatives
Provide input from US perspective into Global Access Teams, new product planning teams, Health Economics and Outcomes Research and business development opportunities as they emerge.
Work cross-functionally within our Company, including Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Market Research, policy team, Global Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research , compliance, legal, pricing and others to understand build a value proposition for collaboration oncology medicines that allow for access and reimbursement that is consistent with label.
Education Minimum Requirements
Required: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
Preferred: Master's degree (MBA)
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of (5) years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills.

Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).

Position Description
Physician Editors maintain and improve Professional and Consumer versions of our company's Manuals and related content. Physician Editors are part of an editorial team that consists of other Physician Editors, Staff Editors, and a Marketing Team.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
Edit and write professional and consumer versions of our company's Manuals chapters to ensure completeness, accuracy, currency, style consistency, and clinical relevance.
Collaborate with external contributors and internal staff editors and physician editors to ensure content quality and meet editorial workflow goals.
Participate in additional company Manuals projects as directed by management.
Help identify, develop, and review digital content for the Manuals, such as videos, images, quizzes, cases, and other enhanced content.
Work with the Manuals' marketing and awareness team to develop and review social media campaigns and content, editorials, and other content, as needed.
Assist in the development and training of staff editors if needed.
Participate in appropriate professional of our company's. activities.
Participate in promotional activities (eg, trade shows) for The Manuals.
Remain clinically astute and well informed.

The Early Clinical Scientist/ECS coordinates the design, planning and execution of early phase clinical trials with the Clinical Director and internal/external team members. Oversees trials within and/or across program(s)/therapeutic areas. Ensures excellence in execution/compliance to support study objectives and data validity. Manages internal/external team performance to achieve project objectives and resolves project performance issues if they arise.
Ensures appropriate clinical safety assessment and risk management of compounds. Conducts real-time oversight of ongoing trials to identify and mitigate patient, study design, data or study conduct issues. Reviews and interprets clinical trial data. May conduct on-site study monitoring, including site training & supervision of complex, novel endpoint/biomarker collection processes. Applies knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical development.
Contributes to teams developing and/or improving internal job aids/SOPs. Identifies and communicates best practices within the organization.
Technical Writing & Communications
Co-authors clinical sections of protocols, clinical investigator brochures, clinical study reports, Worldwide Marketing Application/Common Technical Document (WMA/CTD) subsections, and regulatory agency updates and safety reports, as well as clinical development plans, publications, and abstracts. Ensures documents are completed in accordance with applicable standards. Develops study operational documents with input from team members (e.g. site monitoring plan, study operations manual, informed consent, etc.).
Project Management
Manages trial and program projects including team activities (i.e. meetings, document/collaborative workspace management, etc.), provides risk assessment and contingency planning, under accelerated timelines. Familiar with early drug development processes, building knowledge and skills to effectively manage additional processes/procedures.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Degree in Life Sciences
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related* experience, OR
Master's degree or higher and 1+ years related* experience
*e.g., knowledge of clinical trial management and trial execution; clinical site training/monitoring; medical and regulatory writing; OR equivalent experience with developing preclinical model experiments for drug candidates (protocol authoring, experiment execution/oversight, authoring experiment reports).
Required Experience and Skills:
Understanding of clinical research development process from program planning to regulatory submission
Able to quickly develop a working scientific knowledge of different therapeutic areas
Ability to manage complex operations and projects under accelerated timelines

Senior Specialist, Environmental Sustainability, Global Safety & Environment
The Senior Specialist will report to the Director, Environmental Sustainability Center of Excellence (CoE) within Global Safety & Environment (GSE).
This position is responsible for helping to coordinate and complete internal and external environmental sustainability reporting, including both voluntary and mandatory reporting. The role will also help develop internal and external environmental sustainability communications strategies and programs regarding the company's programs and performance.
Key responsibilities include , but are not limited to:
Collaborates across the enterprise to complete mandatory environmental sustainability disclosures, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and emerging climate regulations.
Supports internal and voluntary external reporting and disclosures regarding the company's environmental sustainability programs and performance via the company's Impact Report, CDP Reports, and other country-specific reports. Supports internal reporting of progress versus metrics through scorecards.
Develop and implement effective communication strategies related to environmental sustainability initiatives through various channels to keep company updated, focus attention on initiatives and priorities, etc.
Collaborates with stakeholders in various business units for joint communications.
Benchmarks reporting and communications practices with peer pharmaceutical companies, other industries, and non-governmental organizations to identify external trends with respect to environmental sustainability data reporting best practices.
Coordinate and participate in meetings, committees, and working groups to facilitate communication and collaboration on environmental sustainability matters.
Represents the company at external sustainability meetings and forums.
Recognizes and responds to evolving environmental sustainability trends, market conditions, regulatory requirements, etc. Evaluates and integrates the information to proactively identify actions needed to address any potential impacts on company reporting.
Participate and/or lead cross-functional projects as assigned. Complete all milestones and assigned action items by established deadlines.

The EMU Specialist is an individual contributor, under the supervision of a Senior Specialist or Associate Director.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide technical manufacturing support in the field of engineering, maintenance and utilities (EMU)
Day-to-day engineering support for assigned area which may include vaccine bulk manufacturing, filling, lyophilization, packaging, and/or mechanical support utilities including power, HVAC, steam, WFI and controlled temperature units

Champions the preventive and predictive maintenance program reviews equipment history for reliability concerns, performs root cause analysis, and identifies reliability improvement opportunities and applications for predictive maintenance technologies to reduce maintenance costs
Develops maintenance and repair strategy for shutdowns
Assists/leads Operations, maintenance supervisors, mechanics, automation engineers, process engineers and Quality representatives in troubleshooting equipment problems as well as investigating manufacturing atypical events related to system failure or malfunction
Serves as the project engineer and manager for projects including scope development, design, walkdown, SAP PM data uploads, ProCal data uploads, field execution and commissioning/qualification testing
Identifies spare parts and stand-by equipment needed to assure maximum capacity and reliability
Supports maintenance scheduling and planning processes
Helps to ensure safety culture and participates in HAZOP reviews and Safety inspections

Under the supervision of a Senior Specialist or Associate Director, this individual is responsible to provide day-to-day equipment and facility engineering support for their assigned area. Actively ensures compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, and Environmental regulations while achieving operating cost goals. Assigned area(s) may include: vaccine bulk manufacturing, formulation/filling, lyophilization, packaging, and/or support utilities including power, HVAC, steam, WFI, and controlled temperature units.

Support and monitoring of equipment performance

Developing equipment and facility improvement plans
Troubleshooting process equipment to ensure reliable, compliant and efficient operations.

DUTIES
Provides day-to-day shop floor equipment, instrumentation, robotic & utilities engineering support to manufacturing operations.
Assists/leads operations, maintenance supervisors, mechanics, automation engineers, process engineers and Quality representatives in troubleshooting equipment problems as well as investigating manufacturing atypical events related to system failure or malfunction.
Ensures adequate spare parts inventory.
Assists in the facilitation of maintenance work, including leading JSA/LOTO execution, directing mechanic labor, and identifying spare parts.
Responsible for ensuring CMMS/EAM data is up to date and accurate for their assigned equipment.
Provides technical assistance in the maintenance planning process.
Optimizes and coordinates scheduling of preventative, predictive & corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
Develops and maintains metrics used to run the business. Communicates and presents metrics/reports regularly.
Champions the preventive and predictive maintenance program within your area of responsibility, reviews equipment history for reliability concerns, performs root cause analysis, and identifies reliability improvement opportunities and applications for predictive maintenance technologies to reduce maintenance costs. Develops maintenance and repair strategy for bi-annual shutdowns.
Works with Operations, other EM&U engineers, Technology, Maintenance Supervisors and mechanics to maximize capacity and assure efficient, reliable equipment operation in accordance with all GMP, safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with operations for day to day priorities, maintenance scheduling, deviation management, etc. Effectively influences and collaborates with stakeholders and partners outside of their immediate organization.

Promotes open communications and team work.
Maintains a high level of technical knowledge and may coordinate safety, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and environmental compliance programs.
Actively supports productivity improvement program and resolution of deviation events. Participates in root cause investigations.
Evaluates, develops and improves business processes and develops technical rationale for system improvements.
Develops Qualification, SOP and Preventative Maintenance documentation and provides reports, data and information to support on-going operations.
Serves as the project engineer and manager for projects including scope development, design support, field execution and commissioning/qualification testing.
Develops strong relationships with site operations to ensure consensus on operational and regulatory compliance issues.
Explains and enforces all GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in audits, regulatory inspections and training in the area of responsibility.
Authors Standard Operating Procedures or User Manuals and assists in training development for mechanics and supervisors.
Assists in the preparation of process studies, engineering standards, equipment utilization, and profit plan.
QUALIFICATIONS :

B.S. Engineering, Science, or 4 Year Engineering Technology Degree.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Under the supervision of a Senior Specialist or Associate Director, this individual is responsible to provide day-to-day equipment and facility engineering support for their assigned area. DUTIES
Provides day-to-day shop floor equipment, instrumentation, robotic & utilities engineering support to manufacturing operations.
Ensures adequate spare parts inventory.
Provides technical assistance in the maintenance planning process.
Optimizes and coordinates scheduling of preventative, predictive & corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
Assists in the facilitation of maintenance work, including leading JSA/LOTO execution, directing mechanic labor, and identifying spare parts.
Develops and maintains metrics used to run the business. Communicates and presents metrics/reports regularly.
Interacts with hourly, salaried and contract employees in routine matters, troubleshooting equipment and automation systems.
Provides supervisory coverage when required.
Promotes open communications and team work.
Maintains a high level of technical knowledge and may coordinate safety, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and environmental compliance programs.
Actively supports productivity improvement program and resolution of deviation events. Participates in root cause investigations.
Evaluates, develops and improves business processes and develops technical rationale for system improvements.
Assists with development of Qualification, SOP and Preventative Maintenance documentation and provides reports, data and information to support on-going operations.
Assists with project execution from concept to qualification, which may involve facilities, utilities, equipment, automation, or process related upgrades based on project requirements and site procedures.
Summarizes project progress, delays, or improvement opportunities. Frequently communicates with immediate supervisor about status of projects or assignments.
Develops strong relationships with site operations to ensure consensus on operational and regulatory compliance issues.
Assist in audits, regulatory inspections and training in the area of responsibility.
Essential:
B.S. Engineering, Science, or 4 Year Engineering Technology Degree.

The Associate Director - Fermentation Technology Lead within our Bulk Facility Technical Operations organization will be responsible for tactical and strategic decisions related to facility start-up and stabilization. The Associate Director will ensure optimized product quality and manufacturing processes, regulatory compliance, employee and environmental safety, integration of new/existing technologies, customer service, resource utilization, financial performance and fiscal stewardship.
The role encompasses fermentation area support for technical/process issues, strategic projects, deviation management, change management, quality risk management, licensure and filing project management, and human resource activities for a technical staff.
GENERAL PROFILE
Provides leadership and direction for a team of individual contributor full-time employees
Adheres to site/project priorities based on departmental budget and profit plan to address resource and operational challenges
Is part of the GBF Technical Operations Leadership Team along with partners from other suite teams
Also interacts with other functional groups, including Operations, Quality, Automation, Maintenance and Safety
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Coaches/mentors direct reports responsible for their area within Technical Operations
Executes tasks related to people development such as one-on-ones, mid-year reviews, year-end review/calibration, team staff meetings, new employee onboarding, etc.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Responsible for execution of deviation management activities, including coaching staff through incident/investigation authoring, QN review/approval, speaking to QNs pulled for audits/inspections
Responsible for oversight and project management of regulatory filing preparedness in the Fermentation area - including interactions with CMC-Reg, providing GBF source documents, escalating needs and issues related to license readiness
Responsible for technology transfer and qualification of the fermentation process, including successful completion of engineering runs, PPQ stage gate review, successful PPQ execution, and maintaining alignment with the sending/partner sites in the network
Collaborates with internal/external partners, e.g. Other of our Company ck sites, CMC-Reg, Procurement, Planning, Quality CoE, etc
Author, review, and/or edit technical documents to support regulatory filings including technical reports and risk assessments
Leads aspects of regulatory inspections by presenting and defending technical documentation, investigations, and change controls
Evaluates and develops innovative process technologies, continuous process improvements and post launch process enhancements
Provides post approval support and subject matter expertise support to ongoing manufacturing activities.
Develops a team of competent technical professionals through one-on-ones, midyear reviews, year-end reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Essential:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in a GMP Facility or Capital Project as a technical staff member (5 Years with a Masters Degree, 3 years with a PhD)
Previous people management experience required, including contractor management
Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in accordance with GMP manufacturing operations
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience with tech transfer activities and regulatory inspections
Experience with deviation management and change control
Project management, including change control, validation and equipment qualification

Assist in the development and training of staff editors if needed.

The Manuals' internal editorial team collaborates with over 400 leading academic external authors and editors to provide high quality medical information to professionals and patients. The Manuals, a trusted resource since 1899, is now an innovative digital platform delivered on the web, mobile apps, and through electronic health record integrations to reach a global audience. The Manuals provide free access to medical content translated into 14 languages and are viewed by more than 1 billion users each year.
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience and demonstrated writing skills are mandatory. Current clinical activity and experience in an academic medical institution is preferred. Experience with interactive digital clinical tools, and social media is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organization, communication, collaboration skills.
Position Description
Physician Editors maintain and improve Professional and Consumer versions of our company's Manuals and related content. Physician Editors are part of an editorial team that consists of other Physician Editors, Staff Editors, and a Marketing Team.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
Edit and write professional and consumer versions of our company's Manuals chapters to ensure completeness, accuracy, currency, style consistency, and clinical relevance.
Collaborate with external contributors and internal staff editors and physician editors to ensure content quality and meet editorial workflow goals.
Participate in additional company Manuals projects as directed by management.
Help identify, develop, and review digital content for the Manuals, such as videos, images, quizzes, cases, and other enhanced content.
Work with the Manuals' marketing and awareness team to develop and review social media campaigns and content, editorials, and other content, as needed.
Assist in the development and training of staff editors if needed.
Participate in appropriate professional of our company's. activities.
Participate in promotional activities (eg, trade shows) for The Manuals.
Remain clinically astute and well informed.
Qualifications and Experience
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required Experience and Skills
At least five years of clinical experience, preferably in an academic medical institution.
Demonstrated skills in writing and editing medical content.
Experience in teaching medical subjects.
Desired Experience and Skills -
In current clinical practice.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Familiarity with digital publication and social media.
Demonstrated ability to write on medical subjects for a lay audience.
Experience in writing test questions for medical professionals.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:
$220,700.00 - $347,500.00
