Job Description

Description: This requisition describes a F-22 Configuration Management (CM) position located at the F-22 Combined Test Force (F-22 CTF) at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), CA. This position reports to the F-22 Configuration Management (CM) organization located in Fort Worth, TX. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform as a member of the F-22 CM Team, and will provide CM technical direction to other personnel onsite at the F-22 CTF. As such, this individual will perform hardware and software configuration management and tracking functions in a flight test environment for aircraft at the F-22 CTF at Edwards AFB, CA. The candidate will interact, on a daily basis, with site leadership, working level management (Government and LM), Flight Test Engineering, IFG Mods and Heavy Maintenance (MHM) Team, Quality Assurance personnel, and the F-22 CTF Team as the F-22 CTF Configuration Manager. Specific tasks will include processing Flight Test Engineering (T1/T2's) approvals through the F 22 Program Office government customer to support Operational Test and Production Aircraft modifications, support new and major testing programs as the CM focal point at the F-22 CTF, maintain CTF aircraft configuration status accounting, control receipt and delivery of F-22 flight clearance verifications. This position will also involve training and leading other F-22 CTF personnel onsite with implementing F-22 Configuration Management processes and procedures to ensure flight test schedules are met. The successful candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

- STEM degree or equivalent technical experience

- Experience working with MS Office

- Aircraft Maintenance Experience

- Configuration Management Experience

- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance with SAP/SAR access.

Desired Skills:

- Experience in F-22 Combined Test Force (F-22 CTF) Environment on F-22 Program.

-Familiarity with the F-22 aircraft configuration, to include hardware, software, and instrumentation.

-In-depth knowledge of Flight test aircraft modification: Temporary modifications (T2s), Permanent modifications, Maintenance Technical Instructions (MTIs), and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs).

-ECRS, IMIS, CSAS II, LSS experience.

-Experience working with cross functional teams.

- Strong verbal and oral communication skills.

This position will be at Kirtland AFB and is a member of a team of Classified Cybersecurity Professionals in support of Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) AFSOC Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) program.

The candidate must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, network devices and supported applications. Successful Candidates will have a thorough understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF). This may include one or more of the following guidance directives: DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253. The ISSO will be responsible for systems security utilizing Enterprise Policy Orchestrator (EPO), Splunk and other security related tools for multiple training platforms. The candidate will apply information technology security principles and configure security settings, complete weekly system updates to EPO policies, apply security patches and conduct tool reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked systems, and coordinate government agency approvals. Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems with the programs. Assist with self-inspection reviews. Assist in conducting comprehensive investigation of computer security incidents, coordinating with other organizations for expertise.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

- Manufacture spacecraft, spacecraft subsystems, and flight hardware components and assemblies

- Build, operate, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical ground support equipment.

- Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation.

- Collaborate with engineers to identify, define, and solve problems.

Basic Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to assemble complex mechanical and electrical components into a final product while following work instructions.

The Electrical Engineer will perform as an integral member of the on-site Engineering Support Group (ESG) team with responsibility to support the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the United States Air Force and to update the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Engineering databases and drawings.

The selected candidate will be required to be in the office (on-site) in accordance with a set team schedule to coordinate with the rest of the team. Teleworking is acceptable when not in the office.

Responsibilities include:

- Researching the electrical configuration impact(s) to F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases (Multi-Program Release System MPRS, MPRSII, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), etc.) to determine current configuration, effectivity, and next higher assembly for applicable drawings.

- Responsible for researching, using and modifying harness wire lists, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.

- Create engineering application lists (Als), parts lists (PLs), reference designator lists, drawing notes, service data notes and temporary usage flags.

- Determine effectivities for MIDAS drawings (Wiring Diagrams, Schematics) using MPRS.

- Create Design Information (DI) and Source Data (SD) and redlined drawing graphic packages using CATIA V5 and CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD). The DI and SD will be based upon Government aircraft modifications and drive LM Aero engineering database changes.

- Limited domestic travel in support of F-16 aircraft Operational Use Evaluation (OUE), Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP) events which typically last for up to 2 weeks at a time.

- Create Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Electronic Document and Forms System (EDFS), CATIA V5 and CCD Graphics.

- Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

You will be the Administrative Assistant for the Fort Walton Beach, FL area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Administrative Assistant embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team, your duties will include:

- Perform a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for two managers and five team leads supporting a workforce of approximately 200 individuals.

- Must be able to interact, coordinate and disseminate information with employees, internal and external customers.

- Perform training coordinator function for project.

- Monitor and report employee training status and enrolls employees in classes.

- Maintain training plans/paths for various department positions.

- Maintain and control department training files.

- Monitor and report employee training status.

- Coordinate and schedule conferences and meetings including rooms, announcements, audio/video and other equipment as needed.

- Perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical, and/or subject files; receiving calls and making proper referrals; and picking up and distributing mail.

- Use personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, presentations, correspondence, and memorandums, reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage.

- Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Coordinate travel arrangements and prepares expense reports.

- Maintain and control personal and proprietary data exercising sound judgment.

- Monitor office supplies and submits requests for replenishment.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Exercise appropriate interpersonal skills in interacting with employees and customers. Equipment custodian for office equipment and Air Force computers used on the project.
