The selected candidate will join the Classified IT Transformation team, performing IT Systems Administration across multiple platforms including AWS/Azure cloud environments, Linux Red Hat, eSXi, VMware Horizon, Windows Server, and Windows/Linux desktops.

Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring that all IT systems are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with both Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and requirements. This includes systems engineering and implementation, routine updates, major upgrades, on-going maintenance and support of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and other peripherals as well as vulnerability scanning/patching, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance and adherence to the Risk Management Framework. This position may also be responsible for execution of server initiatives, server asset inventory management, server support and troubleshooting of all server infrastructure related hardware, software and all related tasks and requirements.

This role utilizes troubleshooting skills to provide timely and effective solutions to problems as well as developing technical solutions to complex problems which require consistent use of ingenuity and creativity.

All work must be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel. The position also will support a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

- Secret Clearance

- 2+ years Experience with Windows Operating Systems (i.e., Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, etc.), and Linux Operating Systems (i.e., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, IBM/AIX, etc)

- Experience with virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, etc.)

- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.))

- Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 30 lbs.

- Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and WSUS

- Experience performing software installations, support, and documentation

- Experience in end user support / incident response

- Ability to provide after hours/on call support

- Security+ Certification

Desired Skills:

The position of Electronic Associate is responsible for performing soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, riveting, assembly, disassembly, touch up, rework, cleaning and minor modifications to several different assemblies and subassemblies within the facility including mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic parts and components using a variety of hand tools, in process checks and special assembly and alignment tooling. This role requires fine motor skills in order to assemble, adjust and align a variety of assemblies and subassemblies to close tolerance. Work from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, manufacturing process plans and other written instructions. Move in-process work, components, parts, assemblies, material and completed product to appropriate locations, utilizing all lifting and moving devices in the performance of duties throughout the facility. Use a wide variety of measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual, dimensional and mechanical floor and product inspection of printed circuit boards, harnesses, chassis, subassemblies, assemblies and final assemblies. Maintain logs, records and complete required paperwork.

THE WORK

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), our Training, Logistics and Solution (TLS) Line of Business delivers world class training and simulation technologies, to include advanced pilot fighter training and maintenance training on the F-35 program for our US and International Customers worldwide.

This position is for the F-35 Training Device Effectiveness Manager, responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of flight simulator (FMS, MRT, DMRT, or MMRT) training data. In this role, you will lead a team of analysts working with F-35 sites around the world to ensure the timely submission of training device utilization data to gain clarity on sortie completion rates and device readiness with an overall goal of delivering effective training as viewed by end users. You will support customer reviews on training system readiness and other working groups focused on improving F-35 training around the globe.

The selected candidate will also represent Global Sustainment in support of next generation fighter programs with a focus on developing training plans, which could account for up to 50% of their workload.

Other duties will include: working with senior leaders across programs on affordability initiatives, assisting with future business strategies and supporting proposal efforts, and helping to develop staffing plans to account for future growth.

Travel will be required >25% of the time in support of F-35 or other next generation fighter programs.

Special Access Program approval is required for this position.
