Description: You will be a Logistics Engineer for the F-35 Aircraft Supply Operations team. You will be trained in using provisioning skills.

What You Will Be Doing

You will work independently in a Military based Performance Based Logistics (PBL) / Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment. You perform provisioning analyses activities including assessment of SPIR deliveries and Parts Precedence (PP) J0820s and QEC using various software tools to influence new designs and modifications. In addition, you will learn to coordinate and perform supportability analyses of flight vehicle, and associated support equipment design (accessibility, functionality, commonality, interchangeability), Air Vehicle Design, and Training Devices. You will apply systems engineering and integration processes for supportability across elements, coordinates logistics support analysis with elements. You will work using GEIA Standards or MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B or DEF-STAN 00-60, MIL-HDBK-502, and MIL-PRF-49506 in addition to system acquisitions, specifically the DoD 5000 series specifications requirements.

You will work with Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and Maintenance Task Codes and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses. You will work with provisioning development under the construct of the GEIA Standards/MIL-STD1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database. You will work with Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and maintain provisioning data/documentation.

This team member will be responsible for participating with customers to formulate and implement enterprise-wide business, organization, and information technology strategies within a Joint government community. Work with customers to help conceptualize means to apply information technology as a strategic asset. Basic Qualifications:

Experience coordinating and synchronizing program objectives and execution plans with required staff and agencies within the Department of Defense, Department of the Army, and designated Commands

Working knowledge to manage assets, inventories, develop property accountability documentation supporting life-cycle logistics management projects

Must have a minimum of 15 years of progressive working experience as a technical manager in at least one of the disciplines of Technical Program/Project Management, Cost Management, Life

Coordinate and synchronize staff actions with government and support contractors responsible for materiel/asset management operations

Desired Skills:

Have working knowledge of, and skill in monitoring various automated logistics systems to determine their efficiency in meeting established information requirements, recommend changes and/or assist units/activities in recommending changes

Experience evaluating plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and

economy, and to develop alternatives when required.

Have experience in the area of substantive decision making process that requires extensive technical and specialized knowledge's of one or more logistical functional areas

Job Description

Description: You will be a Logistics Engineer for the F-35 Aircraft Supply Operations team. You will be trained in using provisioning skills.

What You Will Be Doing

You will work independently in a Military based Performance Based Logistics (PBL) / Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment.

You will be supporting the migration of MIL-STD-1338 to a GEIA-STD-0007B format utilizing the ISS SLICwave database. We need a strong knowledge of the standards for Military or GEIA and the associated business rules.

With knowledge of the standards you will be supporting the development of new requirements using the GEIA standard for current F-35 program, migrating data within mass loads to support two databases until final move is complete.

You will perform provisioning analyses activities including assessment of SPIR deliveries and Parts Precedence (PP) J0820s and QEC using various software tools to influence new designs and modifications. In addition, you will learn to coordinate and perform supportability analyses of flight vehicle, and associated support equipment design (accessibility, functionality, commonality, interchangeability), Air Vehicle Design, and Training Devices. You will apply systems engineering and integration processes for supportability across elements, coordinates logistics support analysis with elements. You will work using GEIA Standards or MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B or DEF-STAN 00-60, MIL-HDBK-502, and MIL-PRF-49506 in addition to system acquisitions, specifically the DoD 5000 series specifications requirements.

You will work with Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and Maintenance Task Codes and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses. You will work with provisioning development under the construct of the GEIA Standards/MIL-STD1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database. You will work with Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and maintain provisioning data/documentation.

What You Will Be Doing

Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Provides day to day guidance and training to team, oversees entire EW/SIGNIT/Cyber operations as the SME and directly impacts the success of the program. Prepares and presents briefings, prepares budgets and tracks costs, prepares subcontractor Statements of Work, monitors subcontractor performance and travels to various locations. Evaluates, analyzes and provides recommendations to continually improvement the program.
