Leidos is seeking a Senior-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Pensacola, FL as one of the key members of the Field Services team. The candidate will be responsible for direct desk-side support to the customer, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices.
Primary Responsibilities

Leidos' Digital Modernization sector has a current job opportunity for a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Counter-Measures Engineer to perform advanced threat detection and hunt engineering at Scott AFB, IL.
This position will support the GSM-O II program, which provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DoD and COCOMs. The selected candidate will provide support for defensive cyber operations activities and will be expected to actively engage with a variety of customers and mission partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Author and deploy novel countermeasures to eliminate threats and illuminate their activities.
Assess the effectiveness of countermeasures on an ongoing basis and revector actions as needed.
Design and develop solutions to deliver automated cybersecurity services, conduct agile development & maintenance of automation script/tools to scale cybersecurity work across the enterprise.
Develop custom integrations, data correlation, and processing strategies to reduce cybersecurity risk and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the automation team.
Maintain situational awareness of cyber activity by reviewing DoD, Intelligence Community and open-source reporting for new vulnerabilities, malware or other threats that have the potential to impact the DoDIN.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of applicable experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent) is required to start and CSSP-A certification must be obtained within 180 days of start date
Proficiency in programming in at least one modern language (Java, Python, Ruby, C++).
Custom malware detection development experience.
Understanding of TCP/IP, networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
Understand the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
UNIX Administrative skills.

The Leidos Digital Modernization Group seeks a Software Developer with a data background to support the Global Management Systems (GMS) Team for the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA's operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA's mission partners.
Candidate must be within driving distance of Fort Meade or Scott AFB. At a minimum, a Secret clearance is required upon the start of employment and within 14 days following the start date the employee must obtain their Security + certification.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software for multiple GMS Innovations portfolio projects, ranging from technical design and implementation for a variety of AI solution capabilities to integrating various data sources into Confluent (Kafka) and Elastic platforms, supporting the development of robust integration solutions, and adhering to the program's CI/CD processes and data governance practices. The role requires experience in full software lifecycle automation, with interest in developing innovative AI technologies for the customer and data integrated solutions in a multi-site, multi-cluster cloud environment.
As a GMS team member, you will work as part of a fast paced, Agile development and implementation team to architect, design and develop an integrated solution that expands the foundational Integrated Data Architecture platform (Confluent and ELK platform). You will work alongside others in a matrixed organization across the project.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, document, test and deploy software written in Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL.
Create Kibana visualizations and dashboards, including using machine learning capabilities and React.
Develop Kafka system integrations between Elasticsearch/Logstash and other systems.

The NISC program is seeking an Occupational Safety, and Health Specialist. This professional will provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Program.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees safety or occupational health program elements including fall protection, electrical safety, confined space and hazardous materials. Analyzes jobs, processes, products, or other systems to determine the risks to employees.
Performs complex technical hazard assessment assignments involving the evaluation and analysis of laboratory data to develop hazard control options for asbestos exposures, mold growth, drinking water exceedances, confined spaces, or other similar health hazards.
Conducts workplace environmental/safety inspections and develops abatement plans to control the identified hazards.
Serves as subject matter expert in identifying and evaluating personal protective equipment needs (fall-protection, electrical, and hazardous materials).
Identifies and evaluates safety training needs in the areas identified above.
Reviews project designs and identifies safety concerns regarding asbestos, fall protection, electrical safety, and other work hazards.
Develops scopes of work for contract resources required to implement specific aspects of EOSH program operations with overall authority and responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
Develops new occupational safety and health programs, policies, procedures, technical reports, briefing papers, and approaches to address broad, new compliance and certification problems, taking into consideration FAA policies, Federal laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines.
May act as a point of contact to provide advice and guidance on the applications of policies and procedures. May be called upon to communicate FAA positions on policies and procedures internally and externally.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety with 2+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree in Occupational Health and Safety with relevant experience .
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of public trust.
Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration, teamwork, and risk management.
Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form to individuals at different organizational levels.
Strong writing, time-management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, large engineering organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with different schedules and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Experience or Military Aviation background highly desired.
Prior Safety consulting experience for FAA or other Federal agencies.
Board of Certified Safety Professionals with any of the following certifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
Associate Safety Professional (ASP).
Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST).
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
